Somewhat inverted, as the hero is the one "rising behind", but the trope name is clearly Enemy Rising Behind, not Bad Guy Rising Behind. Bonus points for actually rising up through the floor.
Not very clear - for all you can tell from the image, Colossus might be on the same side as the guy in the foreground.

There's a series

is one of the best examples of this trope that I know of. If only a bit dark, colour-wise.
I honest-to-God had no idea what was behind her until I read further and Deboss clarified it was Aliens. No, you don't need humor, but it's certainly much more clear than the Aliens picture.
It's not bad. But the Aliens example is better.
"Perfect" is a bold statement :)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Oh, this frame isn't that much better. Newt (the little girl) blinks right after this, and before her eyes open again we cut to a shot of her turning around. But, I still think it is better than the Ace Attourney (?) pic
◊. Points:
- The "power balance" is more disproportionate: poor little girl vs big scary monster, and tough guy vs bear... jester... thing.
- The xenomorph is more obviously rising from below; the bear jester thing might have walked up from the distance. (Also, it is rising in present tense versus past tense.)
- Aliens is way way more iconic than whatever that is from.
Even if you don't know exactly what that monster looks like when it is not partly submerged, partly occluded, and in the dark... it is obviously "an enemy" imo. No context: works. Context: amazing.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
So the alien pic is a bad one. Got it.
- It's a little girl and... a tangle of cables? Not a guy and something humanoid with a weapon.
- There's nothing about that image that says rising. It's just behind her. It could have just walked up. The combination of the three AA pictures shows the rising movement.
- The alien is lacking all of it's iconic features in that image. It's head is the most recognizable bit of it and it's not there rendering it a wtf?
No Context: Horrible. Works: Not at all.
