This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

A cousin of mine is getting married, so me and my parents are heading to Ecuador to attend their wedding. We could only get a 10-day trip, so I'll be gone for a whopping 2 weeks.
We're pretty much doing nothing on the non-wedding days, aside from a 2-day hot spring visit, so it's a good thing I have my 3DS with Fates to keep me busy.
But yeah, in a nutshell, I'll be 100% absent for 10 days, attending a wedding in the country of my mother with really good chocolate. Seeya.
i'm not leaving but have relocated a state away from where i was previously located and will be here for a while, but the important thing is that i haven't gotten the wifi password quite yet, and would rather not burn through all of my data just yet. bear with me, but it should not take more than a day.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Apparently because news is really slow to get around in some circles:
Komodin passed away back in March, of cancer (which explains why if you haven't seen him around).
Rest in peace, o Sonic Wiki Curator.

One last "meh" for old times sake, huh?
I'm pretty sure Komodin was here for at least as long as I was (So seven years at this point.), hopefully he's free of pain now.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.

See you around, Swolf. I hope we can still stay in contact offsite.
