This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

Hello everyone!
Due to several real-life complications, I will not able to access the internet until next week...
See you later!
Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science.Aw. See you next week, then!
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO...and as soon as I post here about being back, I get a PM saying, in effect, that I should have left permanently, and to "move on".
Okay, this isn't about mental health, this is about either someone complaining about me behind my back, or an unusual amount of yet-to-be-qualified Squick. :P
If I do indeed need to stay away, I will, but I at least want to know why I keep getting singled out.

Hey, guys.
My parents know all too well that I am addicted to this site, and to the Internet in general. They've put up with it for so long that even I know it's not funny, but now they've finally had enough. As such, they are cutting down severely on my ability to use the Internet at all and I therefore won't be able to browse this site from home — only from school — until I've finished Year 12.
Man, this could be a very rough few months...
