This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

Right... Well...
I'm thinking about leaving the fora for a little while. I got mountains of work piling up and the "E" grade in my Biology module has convinced me that I really need to get my head down and work.
I know that it's hard to leave, but I'll try. Whenever I have a free time when my work load is tiny, I'll pop up and say "Hi" to everyone.
Bye everyone (for a little while).
Crack.
I might be taking a leave. It's possible I have a hernia and will have to be hospitalized for a bit so they can perform surgery. At this point I do not know if I have one or not. But if I leave for about 1-3 week(s), then it means I was hospitalized. If I'm gone longer than a month, then something went horribly wrong, and the hernia either ruptured, the surgery went horrible, I got hit by a car, or an evil pots and pans robot killed me.
I'm off. Again. Depression due to dude I like getting shot at, and so on. P Ms have a ninety eighty-five eighty fifty percent chance of getting a response. See you guys.
