Thanks for the welcomes.

I like how this is coming together. Naturally I'm still enjoying Unequally, though I'll have to read the Bleach chapter a bit later.

Anyway, here are a couple more that I forgot about yesterday:

42. A girl who hates uniforms. She tries to come to school in civvies or at least adjust her uniform to make it stand out a little.

43. A girl who believes that she can learn more effectively at home from the textbook and as such, resents her time in class. Maybe she used to be homeschooled.

@NDC: Nice to see that you're already starting on establishing the students. Looking good so far.

@Sereg: Welcome aboard. Nice ideas there. Can you just number them, so that we can keep track?

So, um, I'm currently in the planning stages of my fics. I ultimately decided to loosely (And I mean LOOSELY) follow the plots of the Prequel Star Wars movies. Just thought I might run some ideas by you guys to see what you think.

I was thinking of "revealing" that some of the characters were Jedi themselves, such as Takamichi, Konoemon, the rest of Ala Rubra, and...possibly Evangline. At the very least, she knows about the Force. tongue

I also decided to have some of the class accompany Chisame on her Jedi Training, but I'm kind of struggling as to whom should accompany her. I know for sure though that I'm having Setsuna and Chachamaru join her, and that Negi and Asuna are staying at Mahora. Oh, and Chao's gonna appear as a "Force Ghost" guide for Chisame.

I'm starting to wonder if your stories are rubbing off on me. waii

Wouldn't Sayo be a more appropriate "force ghost"?tongue

As long as the amount of Jar Jar involved is minimal.

Not sure what other characters you could have go with her; maybe Kaede, or someone who's outside the main cast, like one of the cheerleaders or something.

lol, Yeah. I just thought of Chao though since she's gone back to the future, and Chisame will be "the only one who can see her" and will freak out accordingly. Plus, Chao is a little more...eccentric compared to Sayo. XD

Oh, no. I'm tossing in Jar Jar everywhere! That way, everyone gets a fair shake at demoralizing and abusing him. evil grin

Kaede is a good idea. Her being there would help with the more serious aspects of the story (I can't help it. I write serious works a lot. T_T). Also decided to add in Haruna, since...well, we need our Token Evil Teammate. Ain't that right, Anakin? ^_^

I definitely want to feature at least one more girl. Maybe Madoka. Over Master already developed the other two cheerleaders in Unequally, so I'll might take the third. tongue

@Watchtower: I believe that I've fixed them all now.

Also, Over Master, I have now read your Bleach chapter. I enjoyed it and will be reviewing soon.

As far as the triplets are concerned, I believe that differentiating them a bit makes them more interesting characters. Also, if my adrenaline junky idea gets used, I'd love for her to say, "I almost died! It was so awesome!" at some point.

[up][up][up] Make Jar Jar to meet Motsu and Shichimi. The combined Scrappydom will either doom the galaxy or produce a reverse polarity that will save it in an awesome way.

The triplets idea seems to be the most popular one yet! Dwelling on it, I'd like for them to be blond. All three of them very tall, but also Pettanko, so the boy can meld in well with the other two.

Provisionally, I've named them Katsura Sayaka, Sayoko and Sadako. Sayaka is the boy (using a fake name) and seemingly the most normal of the three. Plays the violin, acts pretty asexual and uninterested in romance either way. Sayoko acts as the Cool Big Sis, a bit of a prankster, the most outgoing of the three. She's very good at acting, lying and feigning, so she's the one who usually covers for Sayaka when there's a situation where he must show more skin than he should be showing. Sadako is the insecure one. Terrified of dogs, docile and shy.

I forgot to mention another idea I had: An openly lesbian couple. Not 'Blatant yet Always Undeclared' like Setsuna and Konoka, no; these girls are just girlfriends, everyone knows it, they don't make a big deal about it. I'd like to play it subtle, but also with no place for doubts. Kinda like Haruka and Michiru in Sailor Moon, but with neither of them being 'the boy'.

[up][up][up] Sounds good! I've got to ask though: Why is Sayaka pretending to be a girl anyway? Also, thanks for the idea!

[up][up] That...would be most awesome, indeed.

[up] Haven't decided it for good yet. Maybe he just doesn't want to be separated from his sisters, or the triplets used to be quadruplets, but the real Sayaka died, and the brother, who had her as his favorite, got so much grief over her death he decided to continue living as if he was her. The other two sisters realize it's very unhealthy, but he's so determined at it they just go along with it for the time being.

I think the "replacing a dead sibling" option is a bit too morbid. It would be funnier if it's just a personality thing. Otherwise he comes of as a bit too Norman Bates-ish.

Unequally Christmas Special, Continuation.

Sakurazaki Setsuna paused uncomfortably before the apartment's door, pondering her choices.

She very well could simply turn and leave. She could call afterwards and excuse herself. Saying she caught a cold. Yes, that could work. It was a cold day, after all.

Then again, perhaps Ojou-sama would need closer vigilance this evening, she told herself. Violent groups and the mentally unbalanced often chose such festivities to strike, and Mahora offered no shortage of the latter, at the very least.

The young swordswoman hummed softly to herself, scowling and tapping a foot on the floor. Choices, choices. Both being too far and being too close were definite no-nos. Perhaps she could hide between the branches of a nearby tree and watch through the window. But what when Ojou-sama walked into the kitchen? Ah! She needed to wire that apartment! She could ask Hakase for help... one of those secret video surveillance systems...

Then she found herself face to face with a sharp, bright green eye and a blue one. The door had just been opened from the inside, and Asuna had just stepped out to unwittingly shatter Setsuna's Watergate dreams.

"Ah! G-Good afternoon!" Sakurazaki recomposed quickly, bowing formally. "I... I hope I'm not showing too early..."

"Only by two hours," Asuna dryly stated. "But never mind, get inside. Konoka'll be happy to see you actually made it..."

"Set-chan?" a happy, cheerful wonderful voice rang from deep into the apartment, growing closer fast as Konoka ran to greet her childhood friend with a hug. "Oh, Set-chan, you really came! And before anyone else, too!"

"G-Good afternoon, Oj—Konoe-san," she awkwardly stammered, fighting herself to remain her usual aloof self with those arms squeezing her so tightly against that beautifully warm soft body. "I hope I'm not intruding! I brought you a gift in ocassion of this special date!"

Konoka quickly released her, blinking in surprise. "A gift for me? Set-chan, you shouldn't have!"

The girl with the ponytail rasped softly before holding a small wrapped box for her. "It isn't much, but please accept this small sample of my appreciation."

Setsuna immediately berated herself. No, no! That had been too intimate, too personal! It wouldn't do at all!

Konoka curiously held her gift up. "Can I open it now?"

"If you wish so..." Setsuna attempted to sound distant again.

"Shouldn't you wait until everyone's here so we can open our gifts at once as we had planned?" Asuna reminded her roommate.

"Ah, it's true!" Konoka giggled, lightly knocking a fist on her own head. "I forgot! I have a gift for you too, Set-chan! But you'll wait until the party's climax, won't you?" she asked.

"For me?" the kendoka was honestly surprised. After so long, did Ojou-sama still care enough about her for that? "Of... Of course I'll wait as long as it takes..."

"Excellent! Come in, then!" Konoka grabbed her hand and began to lead her in, but then Asuna stood on their way.

"Yeah, yeah, just leave the sword aside first, okay?" the redhead pointed at the long wrapped blade Setsuna was carrying on her back. "We're going to have kids here, and I don't want anyone poking an eye out with that."

"What do you mean? Yuunagi will never leave my reach!" Setsuna became almost indignant. "I'd never allow anyone to touch it!"

"Still, no one in their right mind carries a thing like that during a Christmas party! Sheesh, I'll bet you even go to the toilet with that thing..." Asuna complained, shaking her head.

"Of course I don't!" Setsuna lied quite convincingly.

"Come on, Set-chan, just for a few hours..." Konoka pleaded. "I promise we'll take the best care of it..."

Kagurazaki looked hesitant, but finally relented and silently handed Yuunagi over to Asuna. The taller girl was surprised at noticing the blade's weight, even for a strong girl like her. "Setsuna, this weighs a frickin' ton! What kind of vitamins do you take?"

The swordsgirl lifted her chin up just a bit. "It's simply the result of a long and devoted training."

Asuna gave Setsuna's very thin arms a dubious look. "Ah, yeah. Sure."

Then someone knocked at the door. "I'm coming!" Konoka skipped over to open, finding a haggard, slumped over Itoshiki Nozomu at their doorstep, his head covered by snow. "Itoshiki-sensei?"

Tha man's voice spazzed unevenly. "Am I too early?"

"You're never late," Asuna commented. "In either sense."

"Sensei, why is your head all but buried in snow?" Setsuna warily asked.

"Sakurazaki-san, my family, arrogant as it may sound, is one gifted with many resources," he blandly said. "Never understimate an Itoshiki's capacity for attempting suicide by suffocating with the icy white heart of this season, even under an unusually bright sun."

Asuna gave him a closer look. "Isn't that yellow snow in your mouth?"

He quickly spat it out and straightened up. "I knew there was something hauntingly wrong with the flavor! Quickly! I need to wash my lips and tongue off!"

Konoka helpfully pointed inside. "The washroom's at the end of that hall..."

"Thank you." Before rushing inside, he stopped at Asuna's side, looking at the swords still in her hands. "Is this a gift for me? Interesting. I never had contemplated self-beheading before..."

Asuna just kicked him down the hall. "Try not to drown into the W.C., will you?!"

@NDC: First, I can't help but feel that it was my postive response that sparked this popularity for the "traplets" idea. I dunno whether to brag or sit here feeling awkward. Second, speaking of the triplets, I like what you've set up so far. You could make them really good actors if you wanted to keep up the "trap confusion" element, but I guess I could understand if you remove the element altogether. One other thing; wouldn't it make more sense to give the trap of the three a more gender-neutral name?

Third, I looked at the previous characters you set up, and I was looking at your start-up for Midori Tatsumiya. You could make her the Cute Mute, but could you just have her as very introverted or something? I'm sorry, but it's just that making her actually mute just feels depressing.

@RS: I like the idea, if only because we have all had a say in the characters. However, making the characters the "Official TV Tropes Negima AU Class 2-A" or something like that kinda makes them open for use, and I don't know if NDC's cool with that.

Hey all! Sorry I haven't contributed for a while, but RL has been murder. Still working on my fics, though, don't worry.

On a minor Note, does anyone have any mods (specifically for Chachamaru, Setsuna, Evangeline or Arika) for 3D custom girl? Or Sims 3? I'm trying to put together something using those programs and photoshop...

[up][up][up] If we're going to make Midori mute, we'll need an interpreter. Unless Negi knows Japanese Sign Language.

[up] Now I want to play Sim Mahora.

As regards the traplets, we lose a lot of crack factor if we can't mix it up, so all three of them need to be good actors. They can still have personality differences as long as they keep the acting ability; in fact the most insecure one, Sadako, could be the best actor and actually aim for a theatre career after school. Kinda of a Natsumi-type in that her insecurities disappear when she gets into a role; she'd actually be more confident when posing as her, erm, sisters than while identifiable as herself. As for dramatic tension, it's simple: Sayoko likes her brother a lot (maybe not that much) so she comes up with the idea of bringing him along for high school. Sayaka (what's his real name? I'm sure there's a better alliterative unisex name that we can use) knows his sisters love to play with him and goes along because he doesn't want them to feel sad when they're separated. Sadoko (this name reminds me of The Ring) loves them both but is too shy to voice her true opinion, that she worries Sayaka is giving up too much for them and deserves the chance to grow into his own, um, man. There, differentiation and conflict, no problem.

Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.

[up][up]The moment I read "3D Custom Girl" I laughed my head off. Oh man, I just cannot stop running into that thing. Anyway, I can't help ya with whatever you're looking for, but I don't you're gonna find a 3DCG for Chachamaru, if only because of the robotic parts.

[up]First, Japanese Sign Language also made me lol, if only because I'm trying to picture it in my head. Second, I'm lovin' your ideas for the traplet concept. The only thing is that I would tone down Sadoko's worries, if only because it brings a bit too much seriousness in what's essentially a crack idea. Maybe just have her worried that Sayaka will get caught or something.

@NDC: Just looked up, and I approve of an openly lesbian couple, if only to invert the whole Konoka-Setsuna pairing.

NapoleonDeCheese Since: Oct, 2010
#1020: Dec 29th 2010 at 2:53:13 PM

Oh, right. That is something to consider, isn't it... well, we'll see what Over says. I submit fully to his decisions.

I don't mind anyone else using the characters as long as it's not for anything like snuff fanfiction or rape tales. They're the result of a group effort, after all; it'd be horribly egoistic from me to claim full rights to them. So don't worry about that.

Regarding Midori's muteness, I actually hadn't intended to make it a dramatic or sad trait. She's rather contented with her lot in life, and in a lot of ways she's a better adjusted person than Mana. And if you think her being mute is bad, you should be happy I scrapped the initial plans I had for a blind girl. tongue

Concerning the lesbian couple, I'd like to mix them with other of the already suggested archetypes so their only defining trait isn't 'lesbians'. Would it be okay to make one of them to be the card player? For some reason, that keeps coming back to my mind.

For the Futurama crossover, you must have Asuna meeting Zap... while she's aged up thanks to the pills. Now that'll end up well. Also, Chachamaru unwillingly becomes a celebrity amongst the robot world.

As for the other half of the lesbian couple... hmm, I don't know, honestly. Maybe the yakuza princess? Gambler... and yakuza... naahhh, perhaps too many Unfortunate Implications. Possibly the radio club member instead.

I also have thought of a Wrench Wench, not a genius like Chao or Hakase, but a mere auto and motorcycle aficionado. Maybe the daughter of a renowned racer, and dabbles into go-karts herself. I even came with a work-in-progress name: Makahari Tsubaki.

Unequally, Christmas Special, Continuation. I've noticed my Alt!Haruna is a lot more of an Anything That Moves type, but it's going to be explained later on.

There were two solid, fast knocks at the door.

Not Konoka's door, by the way. Nodoka and Yue's. We have just changed scene again. I just couldn't bring myself to put a 'Meanwhile, at Nodoka and Yue's Room...!' without hearing the narrator of Super Friends saying it, so I didn't.

So, as I was saying, meanwhile, at Nodoka and Yue's room, there were two solid, fast knocks at the door.

"Coming," Yue calmly said, buttoning her neck up with a hand while the other held the onion juice box she was finishing sucking dry. Sh she rolled the last few drops into her tongue, she opened to see Saotome Haruna standing there with a gigantic grin, loaded with gift boxes and wearing a micro mini skirted red Santa suit, complete with hat and tall boots. Yue spat onion freshness all over her own feet. "H-Haruna! Don't tell me you're going to Konoka's part dressed like that!"

The tall busty girl looked down at herself. "What's wrong with it? Ku-chan liked it!"

"We're talking about a girl who thinks Jackie Chan is sexy, Haruna," Yue exhaled in exhasperation. "You're going to flash your panties to Negi-sensei if you don't stand perfectly still and straight at every single moment..."

"Oh. Do you think I'd better take them off before going, then?" she evilly said, her thick eyebrows quivering with sheer perversity.

"Only if you put them on your face instead," Yue deadpanned. "Hopefully, they'll finally get the clue and committ you down."

"Oh, Nodoka!" Haruna called out. "Yue's being mean to me again!"

Nodoka's head peeked out from her room, her bangs of hair briefly swinging aside to reveal a pair of huge beautiful bright eyes. "Oh, Haruna, good afternoon! I'll be there in a minute!" The head retreated back quickly.

"So, who are all those gifts for?" Yue asked as Haruna walked inside and plopped herself down on the couch, crossing her legs.

"Well, I have one for you, one for Nodoka, and one for Sensei, naturally," the mangaka smiled insolently. "And one for Kono-chan, since she's been such a good club member, and it's her party, and it's always good to have her buttered up." For some reason, Haruna briefly licked her lips after saying that, and Yue knew she had just had another of her Freudian slips. "In the flattered up sense, I mean."

"Of course," Yue played along.

"And I also bought gifts for Chisame-chan, and Misa, and Madoka and Sakurako, and Kaede, and—"

"That's a lot of money," Yue was reasonably impressed. "I thought your father's Dojo didn't do that much business."

Haruna shrugged. "Mom always finds her ways to make as much as we need..."

"Okay," Yue wisely chose not to go in there. "But why to bother? I doubt Chisame and the others will give you anything in trade."

Haruna's eyes glinted for a moment. "That's for the flags!"

Ayase's eyes became pinpoints for a second. "The what?"

"It's very simple, actually. It's like playing a videogame. Ever played 'Love Puni'? To get the maximum score and the perfect ending, you must get all the 'flags' or goals to be met with each character," the taller girl explained with evident joy.

"You mean beating them down in less than twenty seconds, or some such nonsense?" Yue asked her.

Haruna slammed a hand on her own face. "That's a beat'em up, Yue! I mean a different kind of videogame!"

The tiny girl paused before making a distressed face. "You don't mean—!"

Haruna looked away innocently. "Oops. I may have said too much."

"You know no boundaries," Yue observed.

"You say that as if it's a bad thing."

"Be serious for once," the shorter student's expression grew harsher. "Are Nodoka and me 'flags' in that game of yours, too?"

Haruna lost her smile for a moment before it returned, but in a more sedate, pleasant and gentle way. She fondly ran a hand over Yue's head. "You know I'd never treat our friendship as a plaything."

"That's good to know."

"And besides, I already got enough progresses on you two, saved the game, and only need to achieve the last few events..."

"HARUNA!"

"What? You were my first ever selected routes! You should be honored!" she cackled.

Nodoka walked out of the room finishing fixing her skirt up. "What are you two talking about now?"

"Haruna's being a disgusting pervert again," Yue scowled.

"Yue just can't take a joke," Saotome casually feigned innocence. "But that's part of her natural cuteness."

Nodoka gave her a knowing glare. "Haruna..."

"What?"

"That skirt is too short. Your panties are showing."

"How nice of you to notice! And so quickly, too!"

Nodoka blushed immediately. "I-I-I just happened to notice it accidentally!"

"Accidentally?" Yue scoffed. "You'd have to be blind to not notice it. That's it; next meeting, I'm proposing the club to start setting higher clothing standards for all members named Saotome..."

[up] Oh, yeah. Like I'm going to even consider a Futurama crossover with Negima without having Zapp Brannigan hitting up all the girls. grin As for Chachamaru, I was actually arguing with myself whether to either have her be considered a detestable "human-wannabe" by the robot community, or what you suggested but also one for the human community too. Remember that Lucy Liu episode? XD

In regard to the other half of the lesbian pairing, how about a rich loanshark bank dealer? I dunno. It's hard to think up a good pairing for a card player.

Also, Haruna being...well, Haruna is my Fetish Fuel. So, thanks for the nosebleed there. grin
