"Fate/Negima"? Yeah, mostly doing the research - specifically, building a profile and trope portfolio for "Negi Springfield, Son of the Hero and the Queen of Salvation". Yeah, you read that right: In this Negi's backstory, Arika eventually got her name officially cleared of all false crimes that she was framed for by the Mesembrian Senate... courtesy of her righteously indignant son and his lady loves' determinatorism.
... Tough I did have already imagine scenes of Sakura/Rider/Rin/Ilya/Saber waking up to discover Negi's infamous sleeping habits. Turns out that their body warmth somehow reminds him of Nekane, Asuna and/or Arika. (No, I'm not going to tell anything about their exact whereabouts/ultimate fates before he turned into a Heroic Spirit. That would be spoiling!
)

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
So let me get this straigt. Negi lived his live, had decendents, died and came back to life as a spirit for a grail war? One more question, will your fic be following Fate/Stay story or be orginal (In other words will the story be X comes to Y and let's see how things are different or completly original)?
Question #1: Nope! Well, technically no. It's more complicated than that. Let's just say that unless something major happens in the manga that screws up everything that I'm planning now, everything up to the end of Mundus Magicus arc (and maybe whatever following arcs that resolve any left plot threads; we'll cross that bridge when we get to it) has happened to this Negi, and then other stuff happened, both good and bad.
Question #2: The answer depends on how you define "completely original". Do you mean "take out all Canon Fate Stay Night characters and replace them with Negima/other franchise/original characters"?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
I mean keep the base of the Fate/Stay story but change everything else. Keep cannon characters, change ending and certain scenes and certain interactions.
Well, when you put it that way... Both. Yeah, you're not misreading it. Both.
And that's all I'm going to say on the matter. ![]()
![]()
Now if you can figure out at least the mechanism that would make it possible... Well, I might think of giving you dibs on the first sneak previews of the story proper (once I get around to writing it).
That said... You know how Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Deconstructor Fleet of the Super Robot genre and "Hotshot Pilots"? Well, if things go according to plan, Fate/Negima (and its possible sequels/tie-ins) would probably end up being a Reconstructor Fleet
of the Nasuverse as a whole. Probably.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Mechanism option 1: Zeltrech. He can be blamed for anything that has to do with dimensions. Even if this is not the reason, by the nature of Kaleidoscope, he is involved.
Option 2: Rakan punched a hole in the multiverse

Oh boy. Better prepare myself. Because the only thing about the Nasuverse that I know about is "Mana sharing".
Option 1:I'll think on it.

Well, I was thinking of involving him in that regard. But you didn't nail the mechanism itself, just a possible agency in its operation.
Hint: It's already been used by two famous visual novel franchises.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. My first addition for the Alternate Teachers story.
"Class, I would like to introduce your new teacher, Horatio Caine-sensei" Shizuna said, gesturing for him to come forward.
Asuna drooled. "David Carussssssoooooooooo..."
Ayaka snorted. But delicately. "Your standards keep going down and down..."
Then Yuuna bursted in, screaming with terror. "Shizuna-sensei! Girls! This is horrible! While walking here, I found— I found Makie... and she's... she's...!"
A few minutes later, the whole of Class 2-A was gasping at the sight of her unfortunate Butt-Monkey classmate lying in a pool of her own blood. Ako, Fumika and Nodoka already had fainted, and Misora was hoping no one would notice the pool of... definitely not blood... now all around herself as well.
Someone had written "FAIL AT LIFE" with Makie's blood in a wall...
Evangeline grimaced, absently wiping the blood off her upper lip. "Curses. I wonder WHO would have been EVIL enough to do THAT." A beat. "Waste of perfectly good blood, if you ask me..."
Horatio-sensei examined the scene carefully, his arms jarred, his fists on his hips. "Well," he dryly said. "Looks like the old saying proves being true again. First days at a new class..."
He pulled his sunglasses on.
"... Are always a murder."
YEEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Horatio, Rakan just got rewritten by Fate.
Well it looks like the Game Breaker...
*puts on sunglasses*
just got broken.
YEEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Nope
The funny thing is that they named it some sort of code-named project, when EVERYONE in the neighborhood KNOWS its SM 4
You know you want to add love
Agreed, I'm almost certain they're rebooting the franchise. At least that's what my Spider-Man obsessed roommate says, and he'd know better than I would.
EDIT: Still needing a name for m!Misa.

Reaction Image RepositoryI wouldn't mind a film with Carnage. But knowing Marvel movies, they'll probably use one of the lamer villains like the Lizard or the Vulture.
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.Eh, the Lizard is okay. Kraven and Carnage are high-tier Spidey foes.
On topic: I know this is a fanfiction and not fangame thread, but seeing this pic
makes me want to see an FPS mod starring Chachamaru, something in the style of Ghost Recon. She's got all the standard military FPS weaponry = automatics, CQC weapons, explosives, heavy fire support to call in...
Unequally, Chapter 25, Continuation.
"Don't say things like that!" Ako complained. The four of them were at Ako and Akira's room, sharing a package of cookies and Ako's tea, after having their latest impromptu volleyball game interrupted by an abrupt curfew order. "I'm sure it's just an incoming storm. You felt that icy wind coming from the north, too..."
Yuuna frowned as she failed to make a call. Again. "Dad's number's still busy. He could tell us what's going on, but..."
Makie shrugged, her munching mouth still full before washing the mouthful down with a long gulp of tea. "Well, nothing we can do about it any way, right? Let's just relax and try to have fun as best as we can..."
Even so, Yuuna still groaned. "I'm not an indoors person..."
"I... I agree with Makie," Akira's voice betrayed some uneasy rigidity even as she attempted to sit back and chill down. "Do you want to watch some TV?"
"Not in the mood," Yuuna sulked grumpily.
Makie fell on her back into the lower bunk, trying to make snow angels in the bedsheets. "Yuuna-chan, can you call Iincho and tell her I'll have to stay over for the night?" she asked. "She gets very worried when I'm out past bedtime..."
"On it," the Akashi girl dialed Ayaka's number while Ako brought more snacks and drink. "Hello, Iincho? Yuuna here. Yep, I'm with Makie-chan. Yeah, it happened to you too, huh? We're okay, sure. Uh-huh. Well, we'll meet tomorrow, then." She put the phone down and told Makie, "She says you forgot to put the toilet's cover down."
The lithe gymnast bit her tongue. "Oopsie!"
Then a flash of light washed all over the room, startling Makie. "Soon the thunders will start..." Yuuna mused.
Akira shifted around in her seating place. "Somehow, I don't like how it's feeling..."
Ever since getting her Senshi powers, actually, she felt on the edge and nervous a lot more often. She seemed to catch bad vibes almost everywhere, especially near Mimi-sensei and Evangeline. Even Zazie seemed to make her feel uneasy now, despite the fact Akira had never minded her ways before. And then there was that strange shadow she had began to glimpse so often around the empty seat before Kazumi's. She'd have to tell Minako and Artemis about it.
On the other hand, for some reason, being near Negi-sensei soothed her down even more now...
"Yeah, me neither," Makie agreed with a small shudder. "Maybe we should go sleep early..."
"Poo, fraidy cat!" Yuuna mocked her. "What's the matter? A few flashes of light and loud rumbling sounds can't kill anyone!"
And then something... peculiar ran all across the room, like an in-situ major bolt of static electricity and burst of compressed air hitting them all very suddenly. Akira tensed up with the Senshi activation phrase on the tip of her tongue, while Makie cowered even more into the sheets. "Wh-what was that?"
"Yeah, it was freaky as heck," Yuuna tried to rub her goosebumps away. "You think Hakase's weird experiments are going out of control again?"
"You never know with those weird artifacts she designs..." Ako worried.
"Yeah, she's always one for artifact abuse," Makie nodded.
Akira felt a strange buzzing at the back of her head, and an icy jolt running up her neck and drilling into her brain. "P-Perhaps we should go out of here. I don't know, to Yue and Nodoka's room, or to Negi-sensei's..."
Yuuna grinned a bit. "Why, Akira-chan...! It's always the quiet ones...! Out of all of us, you're the first one to come with an excuse to sneak in there...?"
"It's... It's not that!" the swimmer protested. "But—!"
She couldn't even finish the sentence. Out of nowhere, a new, much more powerful, blast of the same unknown energy hit the whole room, and Akira felt the same sensation growing much stronger, piercing through her mind like a knife and knocking her into quick unconsciousness.

Hehe.
I just got back from a Final Fantasy concert. And speaking of villains, GHQ is now going to see our main antagonist (note I said main, no I haven't forgotten King of Dust or the ever present scheming(?) of Cygnus.
Say hello to Imamiah.
“Show her some respect before you die, and she might show you some mercy,” came Nami's voice. Konoka's only response was a weak groan.
“Don't bother. People like her cannot comprehend mercy,” It felt like all of Setsuna's words were coming back to her, haunting her more, making her feel even more worthless than she did now. “But I suppose she's but a puppet of Zegnant. Once I slay her, all the resulting turmoil will make it easy for us to get rid of the rest of them.” This was met with cheers from the other two.
Konoka only sank. She was going to die here. That massive murdering spree, Setsuna's blood on her hands, she supposed this was going to be her karmic retribution. She might as well accept it.
But, as the fallen angel leader stepped forward to slice Konoka's neck, taking the scythe from Iza, Konoka heard little voices in her head. A cry of “Konoka-san, please don't give up! We're still here for you!” echoed in her mind. Was that... Negi-kun? He'd been in her thoughts lately...
I'm so sorry, Negi-kun... came her idle thoughts again.
And then she heard Satsuki. She hadn't been paying much attention to her lately, but it seemed a voice in her head reminded her that the cook still had her thoughts on her. And she swore back then that even if she didn't care for herself, she wasn't about to let Satsuki die. Had the fallen angels stopped gloating, they would have noticed her tail moving again.
But what really moved her was Setsuna's voice—but this one, unlike the one coming from the judgmental angel in front of her, seemed genuine. A plea, for her to protect her friends. To protect her.
Protection was a two way street after all.
By the time she resolved to fight, she found herself staring at the business end of that scythe, poised to sever her forever. It was now or never.
Konoka's tail flared to life, swinging leftward and smashing into Iza's leg, then dragging her across into a bitchslap right on the leader's face. Nami's attempt to skewer her in revenge failed, as Konoka skipped forward just enough for her to slice the binds away. With her limbs free, she whipped a foot over to knock the dark-skinned angel away. From that, she came face to face with the leader, and finally bit down on that gag, crushing it between her teeth. “You will not seal my fate. Not while my friends still count on me!”
It took a moment, but said leader met Konoka evenly, gazing back at her with fire-colored eyes, matching the hazy halo she saw lit above her head. “I see. I didn't even think that you'd try to defend yourself at this point.” She giggled lightly. “That's my fault. So let me introduce myself,” She took a bow, before a confident grin returned to her face. “I am Imamiah. The fallen angel of voyages,” Konoka blinked in surprise as the one who called herself Imamiah simply plucked her halo from its hanging point, pulled on it until it became two, and brought both to her sides, where they flared to life before they grew into large black and white chakrams, crackling with energy. “Allow me to send you to your own voyage—to the afterlife.”
Konoka tensed her muscles, ready to fight.
Unfortunately, she didn't quite expect Imamiah to throw one of her weapons like a spiked frisbee, nearly shredding her skin in the process. In the next moment, Imamiah was there, catching her own chakram and whirling around to catch Konoka. Konoka gasped and managed to evade the hit at the last second, but that didn't save her from the whirling slash right in her torso. She screamed as the wound forced her down.
Imamiah didn't even waste a second, twisting her body to slice Konoka's head away. Luckily, that failed as Konoka swept the woman's ankles, and her slice faltered, shedding bits of hair instead. Konoka lashed out at the woman with her tail, but she simply jumped backward out of harm's way. Konoka hissed as she stood up again, murmuring her Regen spell under her breath to slowly undo the wound. She'd be making a lot of mistakes—she couldn't afford to have all the little ones add up.
With a playful giggle, Imamiah slung her wheel forward again. This time, Konoka ducked and rolled forward, so she was also out of range when the fallen angel reappeared. Opting now to counterattack, Konoka murmured her unlock spell.
That of course, was followed by “Saggita Magica... Series Lucis!” And there were 31 arrows flying at Imamiah...
...who just twirled away, giggling all the while. “You must learn not to telegraph your attacks so much~” And moments later, she was back in Konoka's face, giving her a roundhouse kick. Konoka crashed into the ground, but was forced to quickly rebound to avoid yet another chakram trying to pierce her. Konoka slid back, opting for more power this time as she charged magic into her tail, thinking of the properties of Negi's Magia Erebea, and smashing it in her attacker's direction.
...so what's a good unlock spell for Konoka anyway?

You know you want to add more tropes to THIS.

Hey Marq, do you have any snipets from your fic idea or are you right now DOING THE RESEARCH.
