I just archived binged the entirety of this comic and I really am impressed! Great art, characters, plotting, world-building/setting...it's got everything!
As if I wasn't reading enough webcomics already...
In fact, it's a real shame that this is one of those cases where the creator has to balance lots of real-life stuff with the comic. It's been about 15 days and who knows how much more we'll have to wait. I hope this doesn't drive away the whole audience...
The whole thing, in its variety and depth of story and world building, reminds me of some of the best anime out there, or really good fantasy/sci-fi literature. More people really should know about The Meek.

Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series. This kind of Schedule Slip happens occasionally, but usually the author updates weekly, on time.
I don't know that I would call it anticlimactic, although it's certainly ripe for False Gunshot and various related tropes.
Edit: wrong trope dammit

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah, I think everyone had guessed that he's doomed. So, a Fake False Gunshot would be a good twist.

Fixed my wick. Doomed? I hadn't gotten that impression; I was thinking that Der-Shing could play up taking Soli to prison or any of a variety of plots that don't require Amen being taken out of the picture. Or is it just that everyone here besides me has read the metaplot in advance?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Una pagina nueva,
y el autor escribio que oh damn, I don't know how to say "hiatus" in Spanish.
Yeah, so after maybe one more page they're going to take one last hiatus for RL stuff, and then we're back to a regular update schedule. Awesome.
oh, and I love Alamand in the last panel.
Although the reveal is deliberately being kept mysterious, that panel does indeed make it look bad for Amen. Of course, it's a clear setup for False Gunshot or Mortal Wound Reveal or something, which basically means Der-shing is playing I Know You Know I Know with his audience.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"A schedule update...looks like we'll be waiting a while.
But it's worth it, of course.
Is there a trope for a combination Big "WHAT?!" / Flat "What"? I Wanna Be the Guy, Awkward Zombie, and now this.

I've been wondering, does this count as a deconstruction of Tattooed Crook?
Also, yay Title Drop!
♭What.

I have no problem saying the word 'vagina' but due to things I have said in other threads saying the quote could get confusing for people who know me and do not read the comic.
