This image looks more like The Power of Rock than the current trope it's inhabiting. Perhaps we could use something more like this Dervish image from Dungeons And Dragons.

Wasn't the image before that Mugen from Samurai Champloo break-dance fighting? That fit a lot better.

You mean this one? It's better than the one we have currently up but still not all that great since it's hard to tell he's actually break-dancing.

What the heck does the current image have anything to do with the trope? There are better examples from the first episode of Samurai Champloo of Mugen Breakdance fighting mooks, including using his steel reinforced shoes to catch sword blades.

There are several possibly-good images in the breakdance-fighting scene of Zoolander. Here is one:

(Could the forum shrink images to 330 pixels wide instead of 300 pixels wide? If that is the right max size.)

It's that damn Hansel. He's so hot right now.

The current picture is an example of both Dance Battler and Just A Face And A Caption. I do think some of the other panels from that story line would make a good picture.

Never mind, none of the shots are that good.

The D&D dervish suggested in the OP is good. Obviously dancing, enough?

As the one who put the Erfworld pic up, I say we go with the dervish. Maybe its not as cool, but its a hell of a lot more clear than any of the others. On that note, we should put up an image links page.

Out of curiosity, what was your reasoning for putting the current pic up over the last one, and what does it have anything to do with physical combat?

Makes absolutely perfect sense in context, trust me. I won't go into detail, but suffice it to say I thought it would be more clear to someone who hasn't read the comic. On that topic, how the hell do you start an image picking thread? I couldn't figure it out, which is why I just threw that one up with no discussion.

How is it suppose to make sense if I've never heard of the comic?

I like the Samurai Champloo one, but I'd also like to suggest Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, as he's wearing ballet uniform and is also shown to be in kung fu poses.

He doesn't really do much in the way of dancing. He likes to spin and all that, but not too much in the way of dancing while fighting. His image fits the two together nicely though.

I wish I could find better images of Chai Xianghua from the Soul Calibur series, since her style looks like dance a lot of the time.

And I wish this shot was clearer. Maybe shrunk? [1]

I did some GI Sing last night, but couldn't find a good image of Mugen's fight from the first episode of Champloo. Does anyone have any screencaps they could throw up?

I nominate Street Fighter's capoeirista, Elena. Not sure if the image is too small/big.
