If I understand correctly, no. You should just be able to use your existing account name and password to update the one you have to be your edit account.

Well I did and made one, then one day I came back, logged in, and it asked me to do it again.

I understand now, but a was confused earlier.

If you had to log in again, you are clearing your cookies. Both the log-in and agreement are stored in cookies. Check your browser to see if you have a way to keep cookies from selected sites.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have confirmed that the problem is NOT on my end; my computer is definitely keeping the cookie, the system just isn't working right.

^ Try a log-in and password with only letters and numbers. Punctuation and symbols tend not to work very well.

Isn't there a easier for us to log in like just requiring a username and password?

Yes, Get Known with a username and password that only contains alphanumerics and not weird punctuation. Solved!
