7 held his hands out in a plaintive gesture. "Look, all I'm saying is that while you're capturing me, a man who has done very little wrong, who deployed his Giant Robot out of self defense and whose place of business was bombed by two separate men, Doll is out there, ruthlessly robbing and murdering the rich with an deadly chain! Could you let that weigh on your conscience?"
Wall Man flinched at the spaghetti falling on him, looking up to see Ellen. "YOU THERE! WOMAN! WHY DON'T YOU COME DOWN AND SAY THAT SPAGHETTI TO MY FACE!! Wait, no... um. Crap."

"Because I know where she lives. She lives works with and lives with" 7 searched his mind for a random name. "Vigil. The Vigil. Yes. I don't know why, but... she was... seen with him." 7 continued to spew what was, as far as he knew, total bullshit. "It was just from word on the street. I don't know if it's true, but if so..." 7 thought for a moment. Heroes cooperated with the law. Be the bigger man, Peter. "If so, apprehend her, or maybe him... I'll come with you quietly if you promise me."
"Whether or not your claims are true, do you really think you can buy me off with information? Do you think I'm some crooked street cop that you can bribe to escape from your punishment? You cooperate with me, or I'll be forced to take more extreme action."

"What the frek?!" Scan looked at Ellen oddly after cold, wet spaghetti and water fell on his head. "Hello, flying girl!"
Scan looked at Wall Man, "Is this some form of Earth greeting?"

Wizard Needs Food Badly"You walk along towards the prison, and I escort you from up here. We don't need any more dirty moves on the way there. You will then turn yourself in. And I have no delusions about your average police department. If I find that you have bribed your way out, I will hunt you down myself. And you don't want that Peter."

"Hello, space man!" Ellen waved at Scan while holding the pot of spaghetti, now half empty, in her other hand. "What's a frek?"
Gliding down, the fairy girl smiled at Wall Man politely. "Spaghetti to your face, you say? Don't mind if I do!" With that said, she put the pot over the superhero's head, dumping the remaining spaghetti all over him. Then she proceeded to bang on it with her fist. "AND I'M NOT A JERK, MR. NO INDOOR VOICE. ...though we're outside..."
"Well, after we're done eating, maybe we should try turning it on. Y'know, so we don't end up wandering around for nothing," Sheathe suggested. "So, what kind of food do you feel like tonight? Italian? French? Asian? American?"
"Sure," Aria told Jeff. "Oh, I heard a new Japanese place opened up not far from here. You want to give that a shot?"
Doll simply nodded to Vigil and kept her eyes on the people up ahead.
Beth looked at Anne with confusion. "But you just said a moment ago
that you'd like something to eat.
"
"Um..." the detective, changing his mind about eating, asked, "Could I have a sandwich?'
With a blink, Beth gave a slight nod of the head. "Alright." Looking over at Anne, she added, "I'll make a pair of them for the two of you."
The head maid walked off, the detective turned to Anne. "Are you feeling alright? You seem... I dunno. Lacking in energy?"
The Thespian climbed up the rope after taking a couple of pieces of technology and putting them into another that had practically limitless storage capacity without weighing anything more. Looking down through the moonroof, the actor sighed, then dug out a penny from his pocket. Failure to be noticed by NPC guards. Failure to be spotted by the cameras. Failure to set off the alarm. Let's at least get one of those out of the way.
He dropped the penny into a security laser on purpose and proceeded to flee. Now then, since Escher's author has at this point lost a fair amount of interest, I don't suppose he'll be sending too many men after me. But... I'm sure I'll attract the attention of a certain new heroine...
Or at least, hopefully.
Doll eyeballed Bruno after he said that. "What do they want with us?"
"Alright," Sheathe and Aria said to Justice Man and Jeff respectively and simultaneously.
Ellen glided away from the angry wall hero while flying up, giggling to herself. "You two are fun. Let's find some time to play again later, kay?"
Ellen then turned invisible in the night sky and flew off to home to chill.
"...You're right, Wall Man." Scan said as he ate some of the spaghetti. "This does need some salt."

Wizard Needs Food BadlyGuy parked the Justicycle outside of the restaurant. "Well, here we are," he said, and began to head in.
Gale and 7 had made the hike up to the prison. Gale explained who he'd captured to the guards, and then left Seven in their hands, as he didn't have much of a choice. It seemed like it was getting rather late, so he headed back to his hut.
Mimic was mostly satisfied for the day, and went back to his home.
Wall Man shook his head, taking bits of spaghetti off his head. "Let's. Just. Go." He started walking towards home.
The hairs on Denouement's neck stood up when they entered the restaurant. He turned around. Just two more people. Huh. They were dressed funny, but that didn't bother him that much. "Uh, table for two." he said to the hostess. He turned around again. Waaaiiiit.
"Hey, you're Justice Man!" Jeff had remembered to change out of costume, so Justice Man would probably not recognize him. "Yeah yeah, you...'re one of my favorite superheroes!" Jeff turned to Sheathe. "Didn't I see you fighting a vampire or something?" He frowned then turned back to Aria. "sorry about that. Didn't want to get in a fight when all I've got is my Tec-9."

"A simple meeting to settle this mess. A peaceful meeting, no fighting or anything of the sort. My employer seems interested in both of you" Bruno said.
Why should we trust you? It could be a trap
"I give you my word. Besides, if you decide to avoid negotiations then we'll be forced to keep hunting you both. You can probably kill me, but there will be more where I came from"
"Still to lessen your suspicions of a trap, you may pick the place for the meeting as long as you pick a place where you can talk in private comfortably. A dirty backalley would not please my employer at all"

"Look Peter, I can keep this up all day." said Gale. "Are you ready to submit yet?"
