Wasn't the Large Boson Collider Parasite needed to make the black hole, the size of a building? And also one of a kind? Or at most, there would only be a handful on the planet. Like, enough that you could count them on one hand. And the thing is only good for making one black hole, because it would kind of be at ground zero. I feel that what he did would not be easy to replicate.
The more I think about it, the more I think he just wanted to destroy Geneva.

Shiva and Cheshire's portrayals in this show is kind of the inverse of their comic selves. Comic Shiva is a Noble Demon at worst while Comic Cheshire is often written as a Hate Sink, especially under the pen of Gail Simone.
*4: I think Cheshire's depiction in this show was intended to be based on her original personality. From what I understand it, Cheshire in the comics was more like how she is in the show as a Noble Demon antagonist with layers to her personality, until a writer decided to have her straight-up nuke an entire country and changed her personality to be more two-dimensionally evil, something the character has never been able to shake since.
So Young Justice just said "screw that" and chose not to do away with that character complexity.

Christopher Jones did a variant cover
for the upcoming Milestone 30th Anniversary Special out next month, featuring the YJ versions of Static, Rocket, Icon, and Hardware.
In season 3, yes. He was one the Justice League members who "quit" to join Batman and later helped Dr. Jace set up her lab.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).
X2: Let's see:
- Lagoon Boy is probably the most utilized and grown version of the character. He was only recently used in the comics as sacrificial fodder for Heroes in Crisis.
- The whole Crock-Nguyen family. They were one of the more interesting elements of this series, and made me care about Sportsmaster as a credible character.
- Danny Chase is written to be far more sympathetic here than his comics counterpart, despite being cruelly implanted into a motherbox.
- The more mechanical Mister Twister has a cool design. His comic book origin has him gain mystical powers from "an evil being from his computer", so I think his YJ counterpart is a more serviceable way of streamlining him.
- Black Beetle. Even LEGO DC Super-Villains chose to adapt this specific version than his human comic book counterpart. The latter is technically from the future, so there wouldn't be any conflicts either.

I brought it up before, but in Catwoman: Hunted, Jade/Cheshire appears for a bit, and she's sporting her Young Justice character design, voice actress, and personality.

Wasn't the Crock-Nguyen family a case of Related in the Adaptation? I don't know if it could be introduced in the comics without a retcon.
DC is trying to go for a "everything matters and is in continuity if you want it to be" vibe right now, and even if it wasn't I don't think they'd get a ton of backlash for implementing that family in the comics. The bigger issue imo is that Artemis and Cheshire aren't in any of the ongoing books right now.
Seconding Black Beetle. Comics Black Beetle was a !?!?!? so seeing him combined with Dawur was perfect.
My AO3@Cortez Yeah, I know Simone's reasons for writing Cheshire that way. Then again, she's never done that with characters comparable to her.
They've introduced more contradictory retcons in the comics like Wonder Woman being a member of the JSA during World War 2.

I wouldn't mind if they reintroduced Child and Flaw to the main continuity and made them resemble the show's counterparts more.
x6 That's because Weisman considers Hunted to be in-continuity with YJ, or at least a similar version of those events happened. So, she's mostly similar in both versions.

I doubt Parasite had any plans for it. It seems like he was grabbing the parts and building it for Intergang. As for why Intergang would want it...well, the organization does have ties to Apokolips.
Disgusted, but not surprised
