So it's changing, but it's changing to simply increase the lead of the one that's already on top.
Make the change on the page, and put the others on the ImageLinks.Jet Pack page.
"I'd actually disagree on that. Cropping out the plane would ruin the composition, and make one of the other images a better choice, probably." - sudenim
Also, you'd need to either rotate the image about 45 degrees (not sure how you could do that without distorting the image) or remove enough of the upper part of the image to get Betty Page out of the picture.
EDIT: See next post for the "cropping" approach. (Probably should have put the image in this post but oh well...)

Although... I think it is kind of shady to replace an image in the crowner with something significantly different. It isn't just sharpening, or something; that isn't the image people voted on. The Rocketeer "racing a plane" is possibly an important element.
Objections? That is, is it okay to use the cropped-and-plane-painted-out image, instead of the uncropped/unedited one? Or should the crop be added to the crowner?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I do object (or would have objected, I guess), FWIW. The plane, and the artistic composition of the image, were big factors in my support for that particular image.

Jet-a-Reeno!Thing is, the current image has a woman in lingerie in it, which is unnecessarily NSFW for a trope that for that matter has nothing to do with fanservice. My cropped version of it leaves in the entirety of the person with the jetpack while removing most of the image of said scantily-clad woman. I think it's pretty obvious which is better for the page.

Only if you assume it's actually NSFW, which, by my understanding, it isn't, according to current policy.

Jet-a-Reeno!
Exactly. There's no nipples. No front bottoms. She's actually rather well covered. I wouldn't mind the thin border around the image chopped off, but that's a far cry from changing the image entirely as you seem intent on doing Neo.
If you wish to submit the cropped image to the crowner, do so, but don't modify existing ones.

Infinite Tree: an experimental story"If you wish to submit the cropped image to the crowner, do so, but don't modify existing ones." - INUH
But as Madrugada pointed out, it's too late for that.
Perhaps its NSFW status is somewhat disputable, but it's still better to go with something a little more... clean. At least when the somewhat-questionable image is of no apparent relevance. My crop of the image focuses on the guy in the jetpack without having said questionable image... what is better about the current one in and of itself?
It's more dynamic. It shows the idea of flight better. It has a better composition. It looks better. It's a better representation of both the period and the trope. It's also not over dramatic censorship for the sake of over dramatic censorship. Honestly, that woman is wearing more than most bikinis cover. You can't even see her navel. It's just puritanical to censor something that mild. It's such a part of history.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWell, now we're getting somewhere. It's at least refreshing to see something that isn't primarily appeal to majority.
In any case, I still don't see why my crop of it removes the sense of flight. I can see why rodney's edit of it does, but my version clearly shows the tail of the plane moving. I'd just like to get into what specifically "looks better" about it, and how exactly it's such "a part of history."
Oh and by the way, I wouldn't support an image that involved a bikini either.
It's not clear that's a plane from just the rudder. It looks a bit more like a boat honestly. It's just uncertainness censorship that makes the image worse. Pin up girls on planes dates the image to being set in WWII. That's a nice feature.

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.I don’t agree on Ghilz idea of putting Jet Pack on the NSFG side. It does not belong there. Would this be necessary when using the Betty picture?
Before doing that we should use a different picture. Or changing it maybe removing the pin-up girl and not the plane? This will keep the overall composition, but still be clean enough for everybody’s taste. Then we should put a link to the original, pointing out that we changed it.
1. The Betty Page pin-up is not sufficiently lascivious to warrant an NSFW tag or for the page to be put on the other side of the curtain. Period. End of subject.
2. The image that got the votes was the one including the plane and the plane's artwork. In light of #1, there's no reason to do a bait-and-switch by putting up a bowdlerized version.
The crowner is closed. It was closed before this last round of suggestions.

For some reason I've never wondered this before, but why aren't his pants on fire?
