I was reading the Serious Business Troper Tales page just now and stumbled on something of transcendent brilliance: What if there was an overblown, What Do You Mean, It's Not Awesome?-powered tournament anime about professional Star Craft? They've already got mahjong, go, chess, baking, football, and tennis covered, but this could top them all for sheer craziness.
We still need a Sonic cartoon that's both good and faithful.
If any Zelda games were to be adapted, I wouldn't mind seeing Majora's Mask as an animated series. And on the Phoenix Wright idea- each game could take up a series, with Rise from the Ashes being an OVA.
..."If any Zelda games were to be adapted, I wouldn't mind seeing Majora's Mask as an animated series."
Very yes, but it should have a disclaimer at the beginning stating that children could get depressed because of it.
I can't stop listening to thisPeter Pan And The Pirates, by being Nightmare Fuel for kids, managed to scare away its audience. A Majora's Mask cartoon might be awesome, but it too could flop for just that reason, no matter how well the story is told, simply due to the mixture of Animation Age Ghetto, the Kid Hero, and the Nightmare Fuel. After all, that's what killed Peter Pan And The Pirates, which had some very good storytelling in many episodes.

Requiem ~ September 2010 - October 2011 [Banned 4 Life]Gotcha Force would make a bitchin' Shonen Series.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderAce Attorney would probably be very easily adapted, given that most of its appeal comes from plot, characters and presentation rather than gameplay. Plus, fully animated epic finger-pointing, Villainous Breakdowns, and Objection!s would hardly bring the fun down.

"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboI think a Splinter Cell live-action movie would be pretty decent if it were directed by Michael Mann or a similar director who emphasizes technical accuracy and the kind of atmospheric darkness on which a game like Splinter Cell thrives.
F-Zero as a live action television series focusing more on the drivers and their everyday lives(i.e. Captain Falcon actually hunting some damned bounties for a change).
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Frankly, I think Metroid would translate into a live-action film trilogy quite well.
"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." -GandalfFatal Racing as a spoof of televised racing sports.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelMetroid Other M tried to tell a movie-like story with Metroid, and it used a larger cast of characters to do so. I liked some of the characters, especially Anthony. I think a Metroid movie might work.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Now, in the reversed scale, that Touhou anime could made a very good game

I can't stop listening to thisI've often thought that the best route for a Metroid adapation would be by the same unspellable guy (I know his name; I just butcher it) behind Samurai Jack and Star Wars The Clone Wars. Lots of elegantly choreographed fight scenes. The plot could have Samus actually hunting bounties! It'd be a good Monster of the Week setup.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaIt's funny; Retro actually wanted to make Samus hunt real bounty so she could stop being The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything and actually do her real profession. Her backstory narration in Metroid Other M references her splitting from the Federation to become an independent bounty hunter, but she doesn't go into details even then, despite this supposedly being the one Metroid game that would reveal more of her life story (which it did, just not that aspect).
If Metroid were a film trilogy, I think the first film should focus on her activities with the federation, the second, her bounty hunting activities, and the third, her independent universe saving heroics.
If a TV series or cartoon, then it could either go in arcs like Avatar The Last Airbender, so we lead up to her change of job description.

-Odd World could be a wonderful movie franchise (In fact, there were plans for making Oddworld movies, but seems nothing came out of that...sadly)
-Epic Mickey movie made with classic animation and aknowledged as part of the Disney Animated Canon.
-A Kingdom Hearts anime is soemthing I'd also love to see (just like others have already said). KH 1, COM and KH 2 (maybe Coded too as a mini-arc) could be seasons of the main series, Days could be a OVA and Birth by Sleep a mini-series OVA.
-Even if a Disgaea anime was made, it was only of the first game. I say there should be an anime of both Disgaea 2 and 3!

Too lazy to have a decent sig.Epic Mickey could be a fun movie perhaps if handled right. Doesn't Disney want to see their mascot mean something again? That's part of the reason for creating that game. So why not make it into a movie as well?
For Kingdom Hearts, I'd rather it mix Disney-style animation for the Disney characters and anime-style animation for the Square-Enix characters. I think that would work best. And have everyone act in character. It would be a great mixture of drama, comedy, and fun.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!Assassins Creed could make a pretty nice movie series, I think. You could pretty much just put the cut scenes together and call it a movie. Plus, the short film they did for AC 2 was cool.

The Fallout series could make a pretty good movie series, if done well and the producers took into account some of the goofy, funner aspects of the series without drawing undue attention to it. The Book of Eli is a decent starting point.

Mount and frigging Blade, since everyone love five warring nations. The possibilities are literally limitless. However, I'd expect a lot of AdaptationDistillation for it to work.
