It just occurred to me:
Killing Floor would make for a great throwback to those cheesy Horror films, violent 70's Horror films, and Video Nasties.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI think the Ace Attorney series could work as an anime. Either in the Phoenix days, Apollo days, or even Edgeworth & Franziska. And of course those "Day In The Life Of.." episodes with Maya, Gumshow, and the Judge.
Sometimes life just sucks. You have to learn to take the good with the bad. Why should you expect anything different in the mediums?Homeworld 2 could work well as a documentary-style film, not unlike District 9. Other than that, Uncharted is perfect material for a blockbuster (if they keep Naughty Dog on to make sure it isn't frakked up), Kingdom Hearts is reasonable good material for an anime (as long as they don't screw it up as badly as the Manga did), and I could totally see Bio Shock as a survival horror movie.
Against all tyrants.METAL WOLF CHAOS. Because it would make an awesome anything.
Blaz Blue is just begging to be made into an anime.
The original Overlord would be a very funny animated movie if it could find a market. In America, this would mean going Lighter and Softer and targeting kids, which it might actually survive if it kept one hell of a lot of Parental Bonus. Other countries with less of an Animation Age Ghetto might be able to balance the humor and the darkness better, though.
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulI support this notion.
Seconding Overlord and thirding Metal Wolf Chaos. Because both are awesome on a stick.
Still need More Dakka, and it's about time to start a real WAAAAAGH.Suikoden. I'd prefer the 3rd one because it's the only one I've played (on top of having the duck and lizard clans having some story prominence) but I think any of them could make for interesting long runners.
Sly Cooper would do well with more time to flesh out the already very well rounded original villains. At least one Day in the Limelight for each villain, except the mysterious Clockwerk of course. Sly is already charismatic enough to hold together a TV Series, as well.
I'd also like to see an adaptation of the OoT era Zelda world that kept Link a Heroic Mime.
Mathematics Is A Language.Star Tropics? It'd be nice to see someone other than a princess be rescued for once. And of course it'd be awesome to see an energy-charged yo-yo slashing up monsters.
mudshark: I don't expect Nate to make sense, really.Shining Force: Legacy of Great Intention. Shining Force II gets too much love, and plus, the first one has a much better story.
Quest 64 threadTouh-*pichuuun*
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Aliens vs. Predator 2, because they made movies based on the concept but they were bad and the concept has some potential left in it.
The basic premise is this:
Based on deciphered telemetry from the alien signal found by the crew of the Nostromo, the Weyland-Yutani corporation finds a planet where Aliens live in a dormant state. They set up two extremely well-defended research bases and begin to conduct research. When an Alien egg is improperly handled, however, shit hits the fan and the Primary Operations Complex is shut down by a single creature. Then, six weeks later, Predators arrive just to find their hunting grounds soiled by mankind...
I can see the movie making main characters out of the marine commander, Doctor Eisenberg and General Rykov. In the actual game, Eisenberg and Rykov count as the Big Bad for the Alien and Predator campaigns respectively, but the perspective can be flipped easily for a better cinematic experience.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchThere needs to be a Final Fantasy Anime. No I'm not talking about something like Final Fantasy Unlimited. I mean an actual adaption of one of the games. The only this close to what I wanted were the two Final Fantasy VII OV As and the Final Fantasy XII manga which is actually pretty good so far.
GOH! JII! RAH!After seeing Up, and being reminded of the Mother series in a lot of ways, I realized that if Earthbound, Earthbound Zero, and/or Mother 3 were made into movies, Pixar is the studio that would have to do it. Tell me you wouldn't want to see them try.

I think No More Heroes would be an awesome anime. The plot would be almost as nonexistant as the continuity, and it's mostly just based on Travis' antics as he goes around taking jobs, fighting people, and being Travis. Antagonists commonly come back from the dead with zero explanation, just because it's so much fun to watch them harass Travis. Segments from Bizarre Jelly regularly appear, and are actually pretty entertaining, Fanservice aside.
Psychonauts would make a killer cartoon. Like Adventure Time, it thrives on Getting Crap Past the Radar, but like the original game, it's surprisingly good-hearted beneath it all. The 'toon would primarily be an Interquel about everything that happens during the summer camp between Raz saving the world and the Sequel Hook. I've... actually composed a list of potential episodes for one. They are very goofy, but I kinda like 'em.
And Banjo Kazooie. What more needs to be said? I've wanted a cartoon based on Banjo and Kazooie since the original game came out in 1998. I'm still waiting. Plus, it would give them a good excuse to do more with Tooty (she could be a character there!), and Rare could finally have their voice acting in Banjo without people being upset by the lack of "guh-huh"-ing. Not very convenient in cartoons.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'd make an OVA of Ikaruga. It would cover everything from when Hourai Tenrou first discovers the Stone-Like in the prologue to the end of the game which will end the same exact way. The prologue was hidden on the Dreamcast GD-ROM and few people know the whole story(CTRL+F 'Extras'). I'd love to see the world Treasure envisioned when they were developing this game(the concept art in motion would trigger eyegasms) and there's a lot of wiggle room to expand upon the story or the characters.

Alternately, they could add some meat onto Radiant Silvergun's cutscenes and make it a dedicated OVA. A very pretty, but depressing, OVA...
Let's play a game about Pokémon...de Blob would be an awesome saturday morning cartoon.
I can't stop listening to thisYou mean like the one they're already making for Syfy?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaFire Emblem seems like it would make for a good show. The game practically divides itself into episodes, and the side characters/support convos would make for good breather episodes.
And yes, I'm aware of the OVA.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.[quoteblock]]Shining Force: Legacy of Great Intention. Shining Force II gets too much love, and plus, the first one has a much better story. [[/quoteblock]]I like SF 2 more(the characters were a bit more interesting too) but SF 1 would probably translate better into an episodic series.
Phantasy Star would make a cool anime series especially PS 4. And Alis' dub MUST be voiced by Revy from Black Lagoon, with Steve Blum as Rune Walsh.
The World Ends With You could be a pretty good anime.
