> Try to see where the fellow adventurer ended up falling and check if he might be hurt.
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heart@gregnes2000(3): You almost make the same mistake entering the forest as you pass right by Cake- narrowly avoiding another accident, you take time to regain your balance, and with that, take a cautious step into the cave.
@Savaget 1337(6): An awkward silence fills the room, and once she had calmed down and regained some hope, she turns her head to you, answering in a quiet voice.. [[forestgreen:"I... I am Theria... Please, you must help me. I never thouht this would happened, but in my own domain, I was.. imprisoned. Evil demons and imps still wish to hold a simple god like me hostage.. the memory is so clear in my mind.." Before you know it, she talks your ear off, telling you about her predicament. You wish you could just button mash right through the dialouge, but from what you do hear, it turns out that this happened just earlier, at sunrise to be exact. Entrapped by a specific demon who plans to over turn the laws of nature, an imp now impersonates her, acting in her palce and manipulating the masses as she stays here imprisoned. But the conversation drags on for a while..
@T-manboy55(5): Taking quick action, you manage to stabilize and reach out for a rock, gripping onto it with a strong hold. There's a ledge right under you that you can drop onto, and besides some minor scrapes and bruises, you're pretty much okay!
@Black Mage Anolis(4): You do so with minimal effort, the sword within sight as the sun glares on its metal blade! You're nearing up to it, with Skiller in tow!
@Kilgore Trout(3, 4): You take some time to admire the plains around you, occassionally stopping to pick at a few flowers, or something similar. You whistle a jaunty tune, feeling a bit happier now that you can relax.
@Cathari Sarad(6, 2): Hovering above you, the impish girl chuckles to herself, pointing a finger right at you.
"Heehee, if you're so eager to be like me, then I might as well start with.. this!"
A beam of magical energy zaps you where you stand, sending through you a transformation. Those same nubby horns protrude from the top if your head, and comically small bat wings burst from your back. Your nails become claws, and your teeth become a lot sharper- You've been transformed into a (half)imp! Giggling to herself, she doesn't seem to want to answer at this point.
"Heehee, another dumb human in the bag! You're my familar, dummy! Well... kinda. Sorta! Maybe. But! That means you.. sorta have to listen to me!"
@Skiller 2: You can just tell him, rather than making it an action. I'll edit the post if you can change yours up a bit!
@cake1(5): The light definitely helps; You can see him dangling down there, with a few bruises, but nothing too big. He seems to be fine from where you can see him!

> Help him back up.
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heart"Oh, neato. Nice little tidbit, but I don't think it's really important a weapon have some mystical backstory, y'know?"
>Find a place for Skiller to rest, gracefully put him down there, and PRESS A TO GRAB DESTINY
(the sword, I mean)
(like, the actual sword)
(the one stuck in the ground that I've been running to this whole time)

Turn 28
@cake1(2): You reach out to get him, even going so far as to enter the cave again. You don't trip and fall, but he moves down further- seems like he wants to investigate!
@Savaget 1337(5): She seems to smile, a sliver of hope in her heart now that you've tried to help her.
"Well... there is one thing you can do. I may be wrong, but it was an imp that imprisoned me here. In fact, the last place I remember them being before I was trapped here was in the forest west of here, where one of my shrines is. The problem is, this is a special imp, and I even believe there's a high power at work here.. Can you still manage?"
Savaget, it's not a free action, as it's up to luck to determine whether they have the knowledge you need or not!
@gregnes2000(1): You can't see much. either it's because the cave's too dark, or your eyes are bad. You thought the sunlight was suppose to he- Argh! As you look out to the open again, you stare right into the sun, hurting your eyes a bit,
@Cathari Sarad(5): "Well, you- ...actually, hold on a minute.. I've never been in much control of someone else before.. just gimme some time, okay?"
Showing actual signs of humility, she takes a moment of your time to formulate a plan.
....okay, got it! I, Shamely, command you to do my bidding! The first thing I want you to do is.. there's a cave east ofhere where this dumb nature god is trapped at. I want you to head there and make sure no pesy individuals are messing up the my superior's plans. To do so with, you've obtained the power of controlling fire, since you love it so much! You're lucky someone didn't come before you, since I don't have so much power to give away like that! Although, you can't use it all the time, and magic isn't cheap! But, um.. gee, this is kinda hard. Just.. go do that thing!"
You now have an MP bar to go with that magic.

@Skiller 2(1): You charge up your ki, and prepare to make this getaway much faaaaaasssssteeeeerrrr.... Oh no! You've prepared the wrong skill, and now you've went and made the both of you slower!
@T-manboy55(2, 5): Actually, you don't do that. You prepare to jump down, but it turns out that ledge wasn't stable at all. The moment a rather large rock drops down it it, it crumbles and falls further down, revealing an especially deep drop. Good thing you grip is pretty good. As you look arouns, signs of vegetation, both torn and new are shown along the walls, and right across from you is another ledge! One that's actually stable!
@Black Mage Anolis(4, 3, 3): You find a shady space between a few houses that you can rest Skiller in. Lucky you! But, in your slow motion state, you're not the quickest. You stumble frequently; trying to redeem yourself as you hop through the air, maybe adding a little spin for flair, you end up botching the landing with an oddly placed step. If it counts for anything, you got him there. Of course, you find that grabbing the sword is pretty difficult. It's stuck in there pretty good, and you strain yourself trying to grab it. But with enough strength, you pull out the sword, raising it into the air in slow-motion!
@Trip(2): You're still stuck in thought, standing in the same place as you try to figure out where you were going.. why can't you remember anything? You pace around, wracking your brain.
@Kilgore Trout(3): You don't really feel like ruining this forest by pulling out all these pretty flowers... You take one or two, taking in that scent, choosing to leave the others alone.

>Follow him and try climbing carefully down. "All of my earlier efforts were completely in vain, weren't they? Well, you know what they say: if you can't beat them, join them! Here I go again..."
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heart> "I shall do that in due time, but I do not think now is that time. Call this a hunch, but I get the feeling our problems might be headed directly this way. I would like to construct a series of defenses in case our enemies try to assail this place. Would you happen to have any other supplies I could use, or know where to find them?"

> Keep walking. Whistle to myself.
