((Ah, I see. Thank you.))
"Uh-oh, that can't be good."
>Try to escape the fairies by running out of the forest.
> If I succeed, I go to a (preferably safe) town to trade in.
>If I fail, I stop running and ask what they want from me.

If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me! Make zillions of stronk babbies with new manslave.
> "Well dearie, it's been so long since I've made my presence known in this world. What do you know about this place and its surroundings, and is there anything in this temple that can be of use to me?"
> After sheathing my Estoc, I bring him in for a deep kiss and caress him, before allowing him to speak once more.
Hey, that's speciesist! That swordsman could be whatever they like to be!
"Hm...that...that sounds promisin'...though I'd like to speak with the...the boss o'whatever group this is. I gotta bone to pick with those Mountain Basta'ds, and I'm not sittin' on the sidelines waitin' t'get my castle back, y'hear?"
I decide to start searching, though not intimately, through one of the piles of garbage to maybe look for some old trinket someone threw away. Or maybe something the Mountain guys threw out when they took over. They got no respect, don't they?
Philosopher bounded down the road towards what was hopefully was town. They had to have a library. For it was there that his new goal of obtaining artifacts from the previous age as well as the ones from this new one could begin.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble."AAAAAUUUUGH! STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT STOPITSTOPITSTOPIT!!!!" I scream. Nothing makes sense! My mind is telling me things I don't want it to! Just make it stop, make it stop!
Wait, is that...a horse and buggy over there? Are those people?
"HEY!" I shout. I start trotting toward the buggy, hoping to catch it before it vanishes over the horizon. Maybe these people can help me. Maybe they can make it stop. "HEY, WAIT!"
Oh wow, you actually managed to talk yourself out of a situation.
On the one hand, I'm not dead yet, which is good. On the other hand, I don't know what Tomás has actually done to warrant demons wanting him dead.
Oh, so you did in fact fail to-
Which is WHY I'm going to ask what he did.
"You really seem to dislike Tomás Tristán," I say to the demon. "As I said before, I'm actually new here; what is it that Tomás has done to warrant such hatred from your kind? What are some recent examples of his oppression of demons, for instance?"
Turn 4
@Savaget1337: (Free Act.) (3) You break away from the faeries and continue your course. Eventually you come to a rural looking village. There seems to be a fairly mixed bag of races here. From humans to a few goblins to centaurs. The entire town seems very orderly as uniformed officials patrol around to prevent any crimes from going unpunished. The law officials mostly seem to be the centaurs.
The village seems to be a prospering rural trading center with many people coming in from and out by the road leading to and out of the market. You manage to find someone who'd be willing to trade with you however the male human merchant's sort of curious where you managed to get the elven clothes from.
Seeing as the elfs are mostly solitary in their forest settlements and are very unwilling to trade aside from members of their own race. He doesn't seem to be suspicious of you, simply interested.
@Undying Phoenix: (6), (1) You manage to grab a bush and pull it out, root system and all out of the ground. However the fishermen foremen you attempt to trade the bush seems rather insulted that you'd attempt to trade for his newly bought megaphone with a bush. He was ordering a couple of the fishermen around with the megaphone before you attempted to trade him for it.
“Who are you? If you aren't one of my workers get off of these of docks you're distracting me and the workers. Now leave before I call the guards we have on hire.” He says as he waves you off before getting back to ordering the fishermen around with the megaphone again. He's a rather lean and short man, rather clean looking as well in comparison with the workers around here.
@Piando: (Free Act.) You are human swordsmen you are on patrol with your brothers in arms around the outskirts of your village.
Your village has been made rather poor by frequent raids made by the horse lords empire to the east. These raids are rather large for one village to handle by itself but you are member of the towns first patrol in reaction to these attacks. You are the villages best sword wielder.
Right now you and your two other comrades are resting after patrolling around a good distance of outskirts of your village. Both are poor with swords but still got armed because they were the most capable. As rest came to an end one of comrades began to speak. “Do you really think we can stop the centaurs when they come. We're just 3 sword wielders.” He appears rather drained.
@Cybersbe: (1), (4), (4) You jab your first sword into jaws of the crocodiles. The teeth on this thing are unexpectedly tough and the sword bends against the bone of this croc. Your other sword lucky fairs better you stab into the snout of the beast slicing the nostrils inflicting a light wound. The crocodile stops pulling you towards the water and stops to mangle your leg more. You are in serious pain as the as the croc savages your leg nearly ripping it off.
Combat report: Cybersbe, you are moderately wounded, in serious pain and have a damaged sword. Croc: minor wound, minor pain.
@Cathari Sarad: (1) (Free Acts.) You kill more children then you make with this man… He doesn't try to resist any of your actions towards him. “I could tell you a lot about the world as a whole. But the country this church is affiliated with is called the Land of Purple Progress.
Which is lead by an aspect of Husniya Tujjar herself. However in recent times that she's began to break away from the status quo that Husniya wished to maintain. Also she has chosen to be called by Isra instead of Husniya and associates with the aristocrats of her nation. I noticed the last time I went to the capital there was something unnatural about her. A supernatural charisma.” He seems to be zoned out while thinking on the matter.
@Black Mage Anolis: (3) “I mostly certainly agree with you on that.” Says your well-dressed opinion. You dig through some trash you don't find anything immediately worth anything but you find a broken dirty golden pocket watch that could be worth a decent amount if it were repaired and clean off a bit.
You know this because this was one of your possessions that you owned on your estate. “Eh is that yours?” Says your roughly dressed companion.
@YOL Oisfox: (Free Act.) The man grabs a hold of you. “Your the box?” He thinks. He speaks and you can hear the words in his mind as he thinks of what to say. “Well are you a ghost in a the box or a you just a box that can move and speak?” He says while looking curiously at you.
@Trip: Your choice has been made (5) You are a wizard in the northern deserts of Nur. You know a bit of history of the local migratory yet settled people. They are settled race of humans who've maintained a presence within the desert by having water convoys setup for their desert capital, where you maintain your presence, with rest stops being their version of towns.
They've got a few outposts set up in the south where they conduct trade. In recent times the Mountain Federation has given these desert peoples a hard time by extortion the desert people for money in exchange for not destroying their southern outposts.
You are currently in whatever sort of structure you've set up for yourself here in the desert peoples capital like most people in the capital you're wealthy. You can mostly exchange your magical services for money from the local nobility.
@Philosopher: (1) You set down a direction down the road, the woodlands slowly loses more density until the trees are spaced far apart from one another and the terrain goes from woodlands to savanna. As you walk down the road a large group of centaurs flying banners of coins runs down the road and reaches you quickly.
They surround you the centaur in front of you has a winged helmet on his head and a lance lying on his horse back. He pulls out a pouch and opens it in front of you. “Pay the toll or reap the consequences.” He simply says while looking down upon you. The rest of them seem itching to whip out their blades and spear points for a bit of their type of entertainment.
@Philosopher: (2), (5) The noises don't stop they seem to become clearer as the shadow in your vision gains shape a young appearing girl with long knotted, and matted hair seems to be motioning for you to follow her. You could easily catch the horse and buggy but you'd lose your chance to possibly follow this girl. “Follow me, I will lead you to sanity. I will ease the weight on your mind.
I will save you if you follow me.” The voices now clearly say to you.” The pain in your head is now explosive, worse than any migraine or headache, and it greatly eases when you watch the girl.
@BC The Entity (Free Act.) “He has denied my friends any sort of rest away from his facilities and denies not workers the right to meet with their friends. I sneaked into one of production factories and the conditions are terrible.”
“Machinery is not made with multiple races in mind. My demon friends have told me they could very easily lose their limbs in the machines if they don't calculate for their fur or tail. I heard one already has a terrible back injury from his tail getting caught in wavering machine.”
“It nearly tore out his spine. Their is no rest from this work either. They rest, eat, and work at their work grounds or they're beaten then taken back to their jobs.”
@gregnes2000: (Free Act.) You're a squid thing that has probably come from somewhere in outer space because nothing else besides you is “squid-person-thing” you on a road and there is a couple out on riding out together on their horses. They're still out a distance and haven't noticed you yet.
@Kilgore Trout:(2), (5) You notice the shadows within your vision begin to gain shape the voices have become clearer and you see a young lass with long messy seemingly made of shadow in your vision she appears so real.
When you first see this girl she appears to be entirely black, but color appears to go to her as it leaves everything else. Leaving the entire world monochrome to you, only she is in color. She motions for you to follow her. Her long aqua colored tangled hair following behind her.
You know you can catch up to the horse and buggy easily however, in doing so you'd lose this girl. Also of note is your exploding headache which seems to fade when your eye is on this girl. The shadows speak that following her will cure you of this problem of faith and insanity you're currently facing.

"I thought merchants were supposed to have a "No Questions Asked" thing going on?"
"<Lie> Reward from helping some elves from some bandits."
>If I succeed, I trade the clothes and sword for some light leather armor (Like this
◊, minus the shield.) and another pair of spiked knuckles for my left hand.
>If fail, lethally silence the man before he cries out for the guards.

If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me!> "Your performance could use some improvement, but I thank you for your advice, sparse as it is. Come along, my dear manservant, there is much that needs to be done, and much that needs to be conquered..."
> Do a brief search on the temple once again to see if there's any loot that could be of use (weapons, valuable objects, books, etc.).
> Once finished, exit the temple, turn right, and begin walking straight in that direction until we come across a village or some other area of interest.
“I mostly certainly agree with you on that," says your well-dressed companion. You dig through some trash, but you don't find anything immediately that's worth much. However, you find a broken, dirty, golden pocket watch that could be worth a decent amount if it were repaired and cleaned.
You know this because this was one of your possessions that you owned on your estate. “Eh, is that yours," asks your roughly dressed companion.
You might want to work on your English some, just saying.
"Actually, y-yea...I don't remember this bein' worth a lot, but I can recognize the design. Heck, I remember buyin' this from that watchman about...two, three years ago?"
I trace my claw through the ornamental design on the front face of the watch, going through most every swirl and line indented into the gold plating.
"I'll try t'find somewhere I could refurbish this thing; maybe I could get somethin' out of it."
After waving my companions goodbye for now, I then head outside the alleyway and towards a marketplace. I could never tell where those damn things were, it seemed to change daily and from town to town. With that much land, sometimes, it was hard to keep up. Along the way, I try to remember what those goblin's names were since it's not exactly good form calling someone by the price of their wear.

Turn 3
@Savaget1337: (5), (6), (6), (6), (5) You quickly loot your victims items and make off with them in a random direction. You don't have any sort of troubles as you navigate the thick forests you find yourself within.
There seems to be many small puddles on the ground even though it hasn't seemed to rain recently. The ground itself seems to ripple at some points as though it were just flowing until you laid your eyes upon it.
You've quickly gotten away from the elven village you and quickly you've gotten yourself into an area that has many little humans with floating in the air. With plenty of quick thinking you've manage to avoid crashing in to any of them. However you've certainly gotten their attentions as they're following you but it seems like you could mange to break away from them if you were to decide forth with your current pace.
@Kilgore Trout: (2), (1), (4) You quickly tire from your gallop, hoofing it only up and down a couple of the hills in this slightly woody area before you have to take a breather. This little endeavor seems to have done nothing to help you clear your mind in the slightest. You in fact feel less assured of your lady's power here. Wouldn't there be something showing up to put you out of your misery by now?
You can feel the air brush against your skin carrying words that speak of death. The thin veil of sanity you seemed to maintained under the pressure of Sarval seems to be failing in light of the lack of danger of you're facing in this world. The shadows seem to move in corners of your shaky vision.
You see a horse and buggy in the distance being driven towards what seems to be a city.
@Cathari Sarad: (6), (7), (5) You manage to unsheathe your blade in a flash of movement and manage to impress this man with your flurry of movement. He wears aqua blue robes and is certainly somewhat handsome he's got some sharp facial features showing. However what you can't see is his body hidden underneath his religious garments. He's dropped the water pan he was carrying back into the church after your show of skill with that estoc.
“I am sorry my lady of water but for far too long I've tempted by your aspect, which reminded me of my mortal desires. I can't do this job anymore. I will become your servant, lady?”
@Cybersbe: (2), (2), (3), (4), (1), 6 You begin to walk towards the temple however you are moving rather slowly. You don't have warning when a crocodile from the nearby lake clamps down upon one of your legs after quickly bearing down upon you with out yourself noticing it.
The first bite sinks rends the muscles from the Tibia as it shatters from the force of the bite. It pulls you back while you are still in your initial shock, rendering you prone as it then begins to try and drag you into the water. The large crocodile seems to have very smooth scales and blood leaks from its mouth from your mangled leg, currently within it powerful maw.
@Trip: (5) You feel your spirit gather in a massive of magic in from the magical world you have been born into. Granting you the massive amounts of magic you desire. However the world itself seems to quivered has you began to gain form by taking from the limited amount of magic this world possess. A great awakening within the world seems to have began.
A question comes to your mind however. '''How are you feeling? Peaceful, cautious, or dangerous?” You hear as you begin to form your physical existence into the world.
@Black Mage Anolis: “Eh,” Your well-dressed compatriot begins to elaborate. “you see this group is for goblins and eh well to organize since we've not got er the right to assemble as it were. I got to know this group before the Mountain Federation came down here and took the town.
So I managed to launder my money into the group before the area got handed over to the federation by they lord. I heard they used force to began intimidaten the fellow. He was good friend of mine.
But anyway this group has managed to get its hands into the furthest reaches of the Mountain Federation without the troll lords knowin a bloody thing. Dumb blokes they are. They use various shops has fronts to get members into the group. They've been planning a federation wide revolt to over throw these wankers and restore our cities to our lords.”
@Undying Phoenix:(2), (4), The kid looks back at you Knight of Ni while you're walking away before he simply takes the fish into his hands and begins to walk home with it. Muttering something that gets caught in the noise of the thrown fishing lures and general talking.
There is shrubs and some very dense shrubbery all around in this swampy sort of are you've found yourself within. You don't need to look very hard at all in this swamp before you've found whatever type of bush foliage you would require. You don't even need to wonder that far out of the village either which view of is just blocked by a couple of trees behind you.
@BC The Entity: (5), (4) The goat headed man snorts at you once more he jars you around a bit before he settles on simply dropping on to your feet as he regains his composure. His flared up nostrils calming and down his overall posture relaxing.
“Sorry, elf? I was rather furious at the treatment my fellow demons and even human friends are facing at the human Tomás Tristán hands. I can't get close to him and he's hired thugs to attempt to convince me to stop trying.
His thugs have also dissolved sort of attempt result from an attempt gather attention for his injustices. I'm rather frustrated and want to bash in that bastards innards. If you're going to do anything for me. Go up to him and do me the favor of caving in his rib cage.” He pounds his fist into his palm, “His thugs would be too much for me if had to take them all on at his facilities, he won't suspect you. There's a window in his office you could escape from afterwards.”
@YOL Oisfox: (5) You hover toward the door, with almost elegance despite being a box you pass though the doorway doing an aileron roll with your box flaps fully extend as you do so. You go from a storage room sort of area into more of front desk area. This seems to be a place for mail handling.
The man from before seems to be conversing with his boss when the boss looks over the man shoulder and sees you hovering within the air. He looks at the man and nods before he begins to walk over to your box form.
He is tall sort of man. He has a trilby hat on with a blue father in it. His length comes primarily from his torso more-so then from his legs. He has a fine jacket on with dress pants showing. He seems to be primarily curious of you more then scared. However he seems slightly hesitant to just grab at you.
