This is humiliating... though the whip... that's going to sting... Didn't expect that to happen though. If that unicorn thing's expecting its hooves to be licked, then forget it! A dwarf mounted by an unicorn... one elf sees me, and I'll never live it down.
Action: Go to lift this overburdening beast of burden for the time being.
NE Sgamer 190: Actually it's the witch/elf who's mounting you, not the unicorn. The unicorn's just standing somewhere in front of you laughing. Though I don't see anything wrong with you imagining what you just imagined.
Rhyme and Treason: Not sure what you mean by that. You're still a raven thing and you can maneuver like you can before.

Rhyme and Treason: I didn't realize you meant transform when you gave that action. When people say shift, I think of quickly moving to the side, forward or backward by rapidly shuffling your feet or making a slight hop. That's the sort of thing you hear kobolds do a lot. Anyway, transforming during the fight won't really have an effect its outcome. Right now, you're in half-bird/half-human form. In the future you're going to need to specify that you want to transform because this term is much clearer for this purpose. I will continue using shift in the manner I have described.

Turn 19
Everyone: This might be too much to ask, but could I get some feedback for how I’m doing so far as a GM? I can’t really see things from the players’ perspective. I think I’m doing okay, but I want to know if there’s anything obvious I’m doing wrong. Or any suggestions would be nice as well. Send me a PM or speak through spoiler text if you wish. I’d like to hear some opinions of those who have had experiences with other G Ms. Especially since I tend to write text walls instead of brief responses. I’ll try to change to meet some suggestions, but that’s no guarantee.
Rivux: (6) Due to the guard’s request, you start moving along between a few spots to avoid suspicion. You continue observing the activities in the harbor, but you don’t find any particularly new information from observing. At one spot, you see an armless, eyeless kobold ranting on about demons. Others talk about rather mundane activities. After a few minutes you hear a familiar voice shout at you from your right, "That’s the one! Get him/her!" About ten or so kobold guards start running towards you, shuffling through the crowd.
The Space Phantom: (6) The unicorn is sitting high up in a tree despite the fact it looks heavy enough to break the branch it’s sitting on. You can’t charge it on your bike as the terrain isn’t hilly enough to allow a decent jump. The trees don’t look like they have anything that will help you make a running jump either. The best thing you can hope to do is climb up one of the trees and toss your lance or poke the unicorn directly. Disregarding this line of logic, you try reaching up to the unicorn’s height by jumping amongst the branches, but not before returning your weapon to your right hand. The first elf says, "How the hell is he/she doing that?"
The third elf says, "You’re gonna get us all killed!"
The second elf says, "Y’all come look at this shiny thang!"
After navigating through the trees, you make one last leap and lift your lance high to impale the unicorn. Just before landing on the beast, you plunge your weapon down as the unicorn looks you in the eyes. Surprisingly, the attack connected and the beast didn’t swap itself for one of the elves. Its mouth doesn’t move, but you can still hear its laughter coming from the rest of its body as it starts melting into blood. The blood continues dripping from the trees until it dissolves into the ground. Somehow, you seem to have succeeded in slaying the beast, but that task seemed way too easy.
"Hooray! We’re not dead!"
"Ah don’t like this. We need ta git tha hell outa here fore things start goin’ to shit."
Only a minute or so passes before you feel the ground, and by extension the trees, start rumbling. The statue starts floating into the air and it seems to turn its head towards you. "KYAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Aspect of Cathari Sarad has appeared. Running is a very good idea.
Lord Herobrine: (5) You begin sneaking around the premises, crouching low to the ground while making minimal movements. You examine some of the corpses in the first section. Two of them seem to belong to children. Much of their remains seem to have dried up, but alongside the torn limbs, you see several gaping bite wounds. The length and shape of their ears indicates they are all elves. At the same time, you get the feeling there is something slightly off about them, but you aren’t sure why. You cannot seem to find anything on their persons that would clue them in on their fates. You continue exploring this chamber. Aside from the strange glows from the torches, you don’t see anything particularly noteworthy in the initial portion of the room. In fact, the walls have absolutely no decoration whatsoever.
You make your way over to the lower section of the room via the left ramp. Now that you have a closer look, you can see four unicorns lying asleep on the ground. The glow from their horns is probably what you saw earlier. You would explore the sections next to them, but you get the feeling that you shouldn’t wake them up. You slowly approach the statue at the end of the chamber, taking steps to avoid tripping yourself over the corpses. Aside from the dried elf-corpses, you see a random assortment of bones lying on the ground. On the statue itself, you see something that’s probably written in elvish, but you can’t understand it at the moment. Alongside the statue, you happen to see a small silver necklace. You don’t see any signs of traps nearby, so you acquire it for yourself. Seeing as you’re near the end of the room, you won’t have much trouble exiting through either of the two doorways without startling the unicorns.
NE Sgamer 190: (2) You try to get Medusa off your back. You raise yourself up, but her legs cling on tightly. Somehow, with your dwarven strength, you manage to stand up, causing the witch to press onto you. You seize your hammer and try swinging it behind you, but you feel a sudden pain as Medusa’s whip wraps around your arms. You feel her left hand wrap around and start stroking your face and beard. She says, "Oh? You’re going to have to do better than that you silly little dwarf." The whip untangles from your arms, and then the witch pushes you back onto the ground. In the distance, the two standing kobolds start running towards you.
Rhyme and Treason: (6) The human responds, "Ah. A thief then? You must not be from around here. With your looks anyone would take you for an Empire assassin. You’re lucky Marduk isn’t around, otherwise he’d blow you to bits. In this sort of place, a rookie like you ought to keep to pickpocketing people on the streets. Listen, I don’t think the guard is listening to us, but in a few minutes I’ve got a couple of friends coming to fetch me. If you want to have any chance in this world with your occupation, you might want to join us."
After this, you start searching around the cell for anything that could be of use. There’s a bucket off to one corner and a fur bed bag. You can’t find anything that would make a good escape route, but you find a black ring on the ground and pick it up. There seems to be an engraving of a bronze scepter on it. You put it on and after a few seconds you feel spines from the inside of the ring punch through your finger. You start to hear ringing in your ears. Your hand slowly starts becoming numb, and you start feeling unusually lethargic. Your wings start to feel heavier too, until it feels like you can barely hold them up.
B Ra Hi An 1: (2) The mother says, "I don’t think such things would be beyond their capabilities." You offer to become priestess to the village. "Sorry, I don’t think you have the skills to be a priestess. If you did you would have been able to remove the unisign on your own."
The man who spoke earlier says, "Well, if you’ve got anything to offer, we could use any help we can get to protect us as we evacuate this place. Or we could use an escort for getting to the capital. It’s a long ways away and we might run into something."
Trip: (5) Despite your serious injuries, you crawl forward towards the elevated ground. Once on it, your weight presses it downward. Should you turn around, you’ll see the center crossbow turret moving back into the ceiling. As it still is trying to target you, it shoots at you during this. Fortunately, the golem had been standing in the line of fire, and it gets hit instead. The golem turns its head around to the receding turret. It then turns its head back towards you, and then returns its gaze to the turret. This goes on for some time. In the meantime, the turret continues firing at you while still hitting the golem. Just as the stone slab is about to seal the turret back into its compartment, the crossbow fires another bolt, which lodges just between the ceiling and the closing slab. The slab starts moving back and forth, trying to close but impeded by the jamming bolt. During this, the crossbow continues firing rounds, further jamming the closing slab.
Philosopher: (3) Retaining your arm in spear mode, you charge toward the crocodile as it moves towards you. You manage to gut it in its nose and you use the momentum to vault yourself over the croc. You land on its back and transform your arm into a sword to stab the creature, but it flips to its side and plunges you into the water. Once you resurface, you are quite a few yards away from the crocodile, but it seems to be bleeding profusely.

I'd say you're doing a pretty good job so far. Though I've only had a little experience with the GM before you, so idk if my opinion matters much :U
Dammit, I knew I should've chosen Priestess as my class! There go my plans for starting my own cult...
>Offer to protect them during the evacuation, as that is the more likely option to get them to change their minds about the priestess thing.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartWh— crap!! Lucky me, I don't have to worry about hurting anyone in my way...
I cheese it to the left, casually pushing aside anyone that happens to get in my way.
I feel you're doing fine as a GM. I feel you provide enough information to work with, and I can't think of anything you could really improve on. Though, admittedly, I only really pay attention to my rolls and not the others. Not sure if my opinion applies so much in the big picture.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean> After I try to inspect the necklace, I carefully make my way down the left path, taking care to keep my senses up.
On second thought. I extend my ghostly senses and ready my bow. Just in case...
No complaints here....

I am the once and future king.I'd say you're doing rather well thus far, granted I didn't DM too much.
Gah! Dang burden! Off of my back, why don't ya! "I know the kobolds made some big mistakes sending me right to this forsaken land... and I'm not afraid to repay their error with their blood!"
Action: Get back up and meet these 'bolds head on!
Turn 20
Thanks for the compliments. I was kindof worried about player attrition and that that might reflect bad G Ming. Less players means I can pump out responses much faster, but still I am worried about shortcomings. Plus it was long enough that I needed see if I could get some advice.
First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.
B Ra Hi An 1: (2) You offer to help the villagers during the evacuation. The man who spoke earlier says, "I don’t see why not. We’re going to need all the help we can get in that area."
Another person speaks up from the crowd, "Sir, she looks like one of them scribe types, and she could read whatever was on that scroll. She’ll be better off going to Keran to help negotiate with the king."
"You have a point there. Alright, we’ll have her with the envoy. Let’s get things underway." After this, the villagers start going off to do various tasks. About a minute or so later, you see three ox-driven wagons pull up near you filled with about six or so people each. Several of them are armed with various weaponry such as axes, bows, spears, and farming implements. Most of them don’t have much armor, though a few of them are equipped with scale along with conical helmets. Some of them have improvised shields.
One of the drivers says, "Alright, you’re coming with us."
Rivux: (2) You try shoving your way to the left as the guards close in on you. As soon as you do so, you quickly run into some kobolds. One of them says, “Hey! Watch where you’re going!” More kobolds seem to be looking your way as you try to push through. However, you can’t seem to move fast enough as several of the guards are now coming over near your side. Should you turn around, you’ll find some of the guards are carrying around a large net, big enough to hold you.
Lord Herobrine: (6) Careful not to disturb the unicorns, you move head into the left hallway. You also extend your ghost senses and ready your bow. Unfortunately, due to the magic lining the walls, you can’t seem to sense anything beyond them. The hallway curves toward the right, and you eventually see the path split. The hallway ahead continues curving right and probably leads back into the room you came from. The left path seems to continue straight. You take the pathway to the left and start floating. There doesn’t seem to be anything significant, and you don’t sense anything other than the lining with your ghost senses. As you continue on, you eventually see light coming from the end, leading back to the outside world. You don’t see any magical barrier covering this exit. Seeing as there’s nowhere else to go, you continue on to the exit. When you reach the end, you take a moment to stop and examine your immediate surroundings before floating off, aiming your bow should something approach. Nothing.
You start floating out, and then you feel yourself catch on something just as you exit the cave. You accidentally shoot an arrow and start falling down the cliff face before you. You try to float as normal, but that doesn’t seem to be working for some reason. Something is very wrong. The world seems to rotate around you as you descend. During your fall, you happen to see a blonde-haired, human woman standing at the mouth of the cave. Odd, you should have been able to detect her. She seems to be wearing a green schoolgirl’s uniform and her hairstyle resembles that of the statue from before. She seems to be snickering at you. As you rotate around, you notice there are two symbols engraved into your hands. The black one on your left depicts a simple circle with some sort of symbol in the center. The other one glows octarine and depicts a unicorn. After several more seconds, you finally crash onto the ground. If it weren’t for the fact you were a ghost, you probably would have died from the fall or at least you would have broken your spine. Despite this, you don’t seem to have taken much damage. That’s odd. Even though the ground isn’t laced with magic, you can’t seem to move yourself through it. When you look back, you cannot find any way back up to the cave without having to scale the mountain once more.
NE Sgamer 190: (5) As the two still standing kobolds approach you, you try standing up once more with Medusa on your back. The skirmisher closes in, but then you take your hammer, reach up, and then swing down on the kobold’s skull before he can land a hit. The archer behind him seems to be hesitating for some reason, making panicky squeals while shifting his head back and forth. The mage off to the side tries crawling in your direction. He tries supporting himself with his left arm while preparing a spell with the other. The witch mumbles to herself, "Well. Definitely going to have to fix that sometime."
Rhyme and Treason: (4) You begin examining the ring that has binded itself to your finger. Around the scepter, there seems to be writing in a language you don’t understand. You begin poking it and twisting it.
Some of the ringing fades away, and you hear a deep, guttural voice all around you, "Ahem. Greetings there. We had intended to observe your actions before contacting you but you seem to have activated the ring’s communication function. The calibration procedure indicates your some kind of winged human. I am a surveyor serving under the third battalion of the Puzov Dominion. As you’re not one of the mistress’s creations, you might find your blood incompatible with the ring’s performance enhancements. You’ll have to find one of our forward agents to do something about that. But first and foremost, do you go by a specific identification and what can you tell us about your current position? You’re going to need to be as precise as possible so we can assess your situation." The person opposite you seems to show no indication of hearing this.
Trip: (6) You cannot do a last second, slip-under-the-closing-doorway maneuver because the stone slab is both nowhere near you and way too small to actually serve as a doorway. The stone slab looks more like a lid meant to conceal the crossbow turrets than a closing doorway. Right now it is jammed, though you can’t see the status of the other turrets. As you are a wizard, you don’t exactly specialize in healing magic. So, you try using a second wind. After doing so, your skin starts healing from the the significant burns and you no longer seem to be coughing blood. The golem starts approaching you but you easily move away from it. As you start continuing down the hallway, A purple portal suddenly appears about three yards in front of you and a purple-haired elf woman comes out. She wears a lab coat with dried blood stains in various locations. From inside her coat, you see a belt with a variety of tools strapped to it, probably contributing to some of the bulk underneath it. Her hair is fashioned in a bob cut, and she wears a set of safety glasses on top of it.
She speaks to you, "I come sensing ze great science!" She briefly looks past you, "How is it you survive my security? Wonderful! Your body will be great for ze betterment of humanity! SERVANTS, BRING ZIS HUMAN TO ZE EXPERIMENTATION CHAMBER! We must learn all of ze secrets she has to offer." You see another golem pop out of the portal.
The Space Phantom (5); Aspect of Cathari Sarad (3): POTENTIALLY UNFITTING BOSS MUSIC TIME!
At around this point, the third elf has reached the ground, prompting the statue to charge him. As you watch, you see him try to run away, but the Cathari statue catches him in its left hand. He starts screaming, and you see the moisture quickly sucked out of him, reducing him to a husk. Artery-like tubes spawn from what’s left of his body and connect to the statue. The statue’s hand starts growing some sickly flesh from these points, and you see some sort of root punch out from the bottom of the statue and into the ground. The statue’s head turns to face you as you walk out, wearing a trollface hideous grin reminiscent of the unicorn. At the same time, the elf’s body starts bloating as the external arteries start pumping something into them until the skin starts shriveling off.
"And you know what else? Because you had to go out of your way to kill a pretty little unicorn, you had unleashed a great evil upon these lands. Millions will die because of your utter foolishness. None of this would have happened if you stayed at home and didn’t go around hunting unicorns. The world is going to end and it’s all your fault! You’re a complete failure as a hero! KYAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
As the Cathari statue makes its speech, you manage to reach the edge of the forest. The two remaining elves join up with you. The second elf says, "We’re all gonna die!"
The first elf says, "I’d say my prayers, but I fear our fine goddess has abandoned us." Although you’ve managed to leave the forest, you get the feeling you haven’t escaped the demonic statue’s reach as of yet.
Philosopher: (2) You maintain your distance while waiting for the crocodile to bleed to death. Unfortunately, the reptile doesn’t seem to show any signs of dying on its own. It rapidly charges at you. You try fashioning your left arm into a spear to impale it. But instead of attacking from the front, the crocodile swims over to your side and takes a bite out of your right leg before pulling back, faster than you can turn to face it.

Speak or think or whatever into the ring.
"Rhyme Agus Tréas, Pirate.
Though, Privateer by trade I may be, currently I'm a literal jailbird. In some port town I couldn't be arsed to find the name of. It's covered in blue banners with hawk icons, if that helps.
Also, if you call me human again, I will kill you... eh, somehow. I am a Raven Laguz, thank you"
