I am the once and future king.Turn 16
First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.
The Space Phantom: (6) After sitting around, you decide it would be best to actually complete the task you set out for. You get back on your bike and head in a southwesterly direction towards the forest you heard about. Several minutes pass before you finally reach your destination. The area seems strangely silent in these parts but you press on forward anyway. As the forest starts to grow thicker, you dismount your bike, as you would run into the trees if you kept pace at a normal speed. A few miles or so past the edge of the forest, the trees clear out for a bit. Once you make it into the clearing, you see the remnants of a campfire and a large stone statue in front of you. There are about eight fur sleeping bags and many, many bones lie around the site. The statue depicts a elf woman with her hands resting on her hips and her elbows spread out. The statue’s eyes and open smile seem to display confidence. Its hair appears fashioned in a ponytail. On a stand holding the statue, you see something written in what is probably elven, but you aren’t sure what it says. Additionally, you see about six skulls and a full skeleton resting before it on top of a pile of ashes. *Shoop* An arrow pierces right through the back of your left leg. When you look around, you see two elves hiding on top of the trees behind you. Three more arrows shoot near your legs, but quick footing allows you to dodge them. Two more elves come in from the side. You see a unicorn standing beside one of them. It says, "Hello again! I’m so happy to see you! It’s so great you could come and join us. You’re just in time for dinner."
NE Sgamer 190: (4) You try explaining your situation to Medusa. She responds, "Of course they sent you here. You were foolish enough to try taking a lizard encampment on your own. Course they don’t know about our little situation over here. Don’t get me wrong, I could easily subdue you with a spell or two, but that would be boring and rather anticlimactic. You don’t really stand much of a chance against me. Now, I’m sure those lizards sent you here in good faith, so here’s some information to appease your higher ups. I’ve got an army stationed a little ways southwest of here. In a couple of days, we’ll capture the town south of your pretty little fortress. Obviously, I can’t tell you everything, but I’m sure that should satisfy them. But of course I can’t just let you leave that easily. I am a witch after all. Now why don’t you dance for me you little dwarf?"
As soon as Medusa finishes her speech, you see a moment where the kobolds’ attention seems to lapse, and you charge for the shieldless skirmisher. It tries to shift out of the way and reflexively raises its left arm to block, but your hammer goes straight down, crushing helmet and skull. The other kobolds adjust shortly after your maneuver and return to their giggling selves.
B Ra Hi An 1: (5) The child says, "Okay Mister/Miss." Someone who appears to be the child’s mother tells him to come back.
She approaches you and says, "Huh, what’s this?" She lifts up your remaining arm and looks intently at the symbol embedded into it. "Come with me, quickly." She takes your arm and drags you towards a single brick building. The child follows behind. Above the entrance, you see a carving of a bull. Once inside, you see a woman in a white cloak reading over a scroll. On a table next to her, you see a variety of herbs along with thick scrolls piled next to each other.
The robed woman, probably a cleric, asks, "What is it you wish to ask? I’m somewhat busy at the moment."
The mother raises your arm forward and says, "This one’s cursed."
The cleric gets up from her seat, grasps your hand and examines it, "Oh dear. This does look pretty nasty. What in the world were you doing in the forest? No time to chat, we’ve got to get rid of this thing before those nasty beasts start showing up." She clasps your hand in both of hers, closes her eyes and starts performing some incantation. After a minute passes, she stops and removes her hands. The unicorn symbol has been removed. She also casts a stream of white mist towards you, causing your left arm to regenerate. "Good, now why don’t you two be off on your way?"
Rivux: (5) Seeing as this guard will probably attract others, you use the secret Joestar technique. You dash out of the district you’re in and make a run toward the coastline. You pass through another portion of the outer districts until the buildings eventually give way to storage houses. Up ahead you see a stone harbor filled with galleys and the like. Somewhere to your left, you see a small inn. Kobolds here seem to be lugging around fish and other goods. From what you can see, the harbor stretches far to your left with the walls of the central district nearby. You seem to have lost the guard chasing you, but you get the feeling he may still be on your trail.
Philosopher: (4) Seeing the crocodile moving towards you, you move yourself out of the river and onto ground to gain steadier footing. You kneel and wait, adjusting the tiger so it doesn’t encumber you. When the reptile charges you, you move out to the side, transform your right arm into a soul spear, gut it along the side, and then pull away. You take another opportunity to make a second attack and skewer one of its back legs off before it can swing at you with its tail. You shift back, and the crocodile turns back toward you.
Makuta 9999: (5) Yassari II says, "Cathari Sarad? Isn’t that the name of some elven deity? What interest would you have with the elves? They barely have their own civilization. But never mind that. Just hold on for a moment." The man lifts you up from the ground and floats through the beacon.
Once through, you see the horizon before you, bordered by stone walls at the edges of your vision. A town alongside the bottom of your view. Farther out, you see a forest stretching outward until it gives way to the sea. Yassari II turns you around until you face his golden mask. Although the king’s body blocks most of your view, you can see two giant, spear-wielding statues behind him. You can also see three columns similar to the one you saw in the temple of Hastar. Large pillars leading to the roof of this cyclopean chamber border alongside the walls. The king lays you down onto the ground and says, "My guards shall keep watch while I get something for you. I shall return shortly." As you’re missing your legs and most of your torso, you cannot move much. Two cloaked guards wearing golden masks approach you. Should you look in the direction Yassari II went, you’ll find a tall golden throne elevated about four steps high. The walls here depict various scenes, though the general art style differs from that of the temple of Hastar.
After several minutes, the king returns with the lower half of a human skeleton. He lays it under your torso, and uses a spell to attach it. You don’t feel it but you seem to be able to move it as you would your own legs. "First thing you must know is that cure magic won’t work on you. It’s the price we must pay for immortality. So long as that ring of yours is intact, your body will regenerate on its own. But your full recovery won’t come for a very long time. Until then, you’ll have to settle with this. Now that that’s out of the way, you may explore the island as you like. If you wish to make yourself useful, I have a task for you to handle."
Trip: (4) You cautiously step your way down the stairs. The clanging becomes louder the further you go down. You get to a point where a hallway leads off from the stairway. The stairwell seems to have gone further down but the path seems to be buried under dirt and rubble. You veer off into the hallway, which makes a turn left at the end. You look over this bend, and you see a chamber containing two iron golems flanking the exit at the far end. Both of them seem to have lightning emblems along with some strange writing engraved onto their chests.
Lord Herobrine: (Free) You actually had a pretty decent class, though you could have used it a bit more optimally. Also you’ll lose the fire aura upgrade and the zombie. You are a ghost archer/healer. This doesn’t mean you are invincible, but you are more resistant to physical attacks. As per your class, you start out with a composite bow and a large supply of wooden arrows. You also have cure light wounds, but unfortunately it doesn’t work on you since you are "undead." You don’t get wounded in the sense that most other races do, but you lose energy when you become hit with powerful enough attacks. You start out with basic provisions like most other classes, though you don’t have much of a need to eat or drink. You can also make yourself appear as a normal human, though people can still discern through induction that you’re a ghost. You spawn near the top of a mountain. Before you, the mountain range extends for miles and miles with no end in sight. A few clouds pass by underneath you. On the mountain to your left, you see what appears to be a cave with a ladder reaching up to it. Should you navigate around, you’ll find the mountain you’re on is situated next to a forest, which eventually gives way to a coastline.
Rhyme and Treason: (5) You head on over to the central district to try and rob someone. As you walk past the guards, they remain facing outward. One of them says, “Good day sir.” When you enter through the gates, you see a variety of shops and improvised stalls leading towards the center of the city. Farther in, you see a large tan structure with a balcony overlooking a large plaza. Here, two more blue banners flank the sides of this balcony. The building seems to be covered in various sculptures but you can’t see them in full detail. Most of the buildings here seem to be at least two stories tall and made of stone. Over in one of the alleyways, you see a human dressed in a purple tunic off on his own with a sack tied behind him. You move toward said human, swipe the sack off him, and then pull back before he notices. Should you open it, you’ll find its filled with silver coins depicting various naval symbols.
Foxmccloud 4387: (6) Seeing as there’s no other way out, you start following the glowing orbs in one direction. You limp your way around, and climb yourself up a few ledges as necessary. While on one of the higher areas, you see a small pool of water and a stream near one of the lower orbs. As said pool is in your path, you climb down toward it. Before you, you see a couple of bones lying on the ground. Shortly after you start moving towards the pool, you hear gurgling and chittering noises coming from the darkness. Three scaly creatures start crawling toward you. They look something like this.

Huh, so the ring is like a Soul Gem, huh?'
"The Carathi Sarad that I know of isn't an elvish god, considering the one I knew was a witch, unless she became one while I was 'indesposed'.
But never mind that right now, I'll take the task."
Turn 17
First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.
The Space Phantom: (5) You shift your lance to your left hand, pick up one of the skulls, and throw it at the unicorn. It looks like it will hit the beast right in the head. At the last second, the unicorn vanishes only to be replaced by one of the elves. The skull hits him square in the head, bursting it open. The impact forces him straight into the ground. You hear the unicorn calling to you, "Oh? Were you trying to hit me? I’m over here silly! You really need to work on your aim." You turn to see the unicorn reclining in one of the trees. It starts snickering at you.
Trip: (3) You conjure an illusion of yourself and send it towards the golems. It floats in the air as it approaches them, and their heads seem to turn toward it. But they remain in place. When the illusion is about to go past the golems and into the exit, the golem to the left swipes its fist into it, causing it to disperse. Both golems then return their gazes forward.
Rivux: (4) You stow the helmet underneath your cloak where no one can see it. You start exploring the docks to see what sorts of goods the kobolds are carrying around. As most of them are in storage containers, you can’t really see what’s inside them. However, from overhearing some of the conversations, you learn about some of the items. Ornate jars, weapons and shields, armor, scroll-paper, various types of food, metal wine-glasses, grain, wood, marble, stone, lapis lazuli, copper, tin, lead, iron, obsidian, gold, bows, jewelry, and many other things.
B Ra Hi An 1: (1) You ask the priestess about the unicorns and the symbol that was on your hand. She opens her mouth as if to speak but then stays silent, leaning forward slightly. Her pupils start eclipsing the rest of her eyes. The woman next to you says, "Is…"
"KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The priestess suddenly pulls out a knife and swings at you. The attack swipes through your arm and the mother pulls you back. You hear footsteps coming from behind as others nearby gather. The priestess raises her hands up and starts jamming the knife into her forehead. After about five stabs, she stops laughing and falls face flat onto the ground. On the back of her neck, you see a small unicorn-shaped cut.
The woman next to you turns to the people outside, "Burn everything in this place to the ground! We must not let it spread!"
Rhyme and Treason: (3) You begin moving your way towards the seemingly important building. It’s a bit crowded in these parts, but once you get close to it, you take your chance and begin flying. Might as well be quick about this. Once you’re about level with the balcony entrance, you hear someone shout from below, "He’s after the chancellor!" Undeterred, you enter through the window and find yourself walking on a relatively ornate carpet. A long hallway stands before you. To your left there is a wooden dresser of sorts. To each of your sides, a small marble pedestal extends from the floor. Two armored humans with large, ovular shields stand on each side of the hallway. A mushroom person with a cylindrical shield and an axe stands in the middle of the hallway.
One of the humans remarks, "Well, this is the first time we’ve seen someone with wings."
The mushroom man says, "I don’t care what sort a beef ya got with the chancellor, ya ain’t gettin’ past us."
NE Sgamer 190: (5) Seeing that you’ve managed to immobilize the mage and eliminate one of the kobolds, you could probably make your escape. The two archers and the second skirmisher start to close in on you. Two arrows shoot you way but you’ve started running by then. The skirmisher tosses a javelin your way but misses. You curve into one of the archers and then hold your hammer out to the side. As you start to swing, the weapon hits clean into the kobold’s face. You hear a crunch followed by the body and bow hitting the ground. Blood drips off the side of your hammer. You keep on running and running towards the trees where the light still shines in the distance.
You hear the witch’s voice, "Where do you think you’re going? I’m not quite finished playing with you yet. You think you can run away? Yes… You’re a bad little dwarf aren’t you?"
You see a line of blinding light cut through the trees up ahead. As you get closer, several of them begin falling down. You hear the kobolds’ light footsteps advancing from behind you. Despite Medusa’s comments, you haven’t heard any signs of the unicorn or witch approaching.
Makuta 9999: (6) The Great Witch Cathari is displeased that you could not spell her name correctly. After saying what you have to say and accepting Yassari II’s task, the king says, "It’s strange you say you know this figure. I considered the elven goddess nothing more than a myth. Though it’s possible this figure had once been a powerful witch and the elves came to worship her.
"But in any case, I’m glad you could accept. In case you haven’t noticed, I have two other teleportation beacons. They allow me direct access to the continent on the north and south sides of the sea. Both of these areas are under my dominion. However, a week or so ago, we seem to have lost contact with one of our iron mines in the north. I was about to send a few of my own men there but I figure you would be better equipped for the job. I need for you to find out what happened and report back. If any of my followers are still alive, I want you to bring them back here. I don’t have any spell scrolls on hand to prepare you, but I should be able to have one ready by the time you return. The pillar to the left is the one you’ll be using. I’ll activate it now. To reach the mine, you’ll need to travel northwest of the town. You’ll understand once you get there. My blessings be upon you." The king moves to the column he gestured, spreads his hands and chants, causing the octarine text to appear. A beacon shines upward from the pillar. "Oh right!" He starts another incantation, and the pillar lowers itself until it is embedded into the floor. You begin to walk through the beacon, but when you reach the beam of light, you start to see sparks form on the ground. "That isn’t supposed to happen. Get…" Before the king can finish his sentence, you have already walked through the beacon.
Once through, you see a large mountain standing before you. You find yourself standing on a stone platform with steps leading down. Should you look behind you, you’ll find a large circular portal radiating octarine light instead of a pillar. Clouds cover most of the sky directly above you. Far beyond the mountains, you see two ovular shapes floating in the sky and many, much smaller shapes flying around them. Closer to you towards your left, you find what appears to be the entrance to a mine. You see a fortress wall covering about sixty degrees past the mine entrance. About seven or so horned dragonborn, wearing nothing but loincloth, seem to be working on building this edifice, lugging stone and other materials around. At several places, you see a large black banner depicting two white dragons holding up a bronze scepter with an eye-like gem on top. Underneath these figures, you find lettering written in some language you don’t understand and can’t quite see clearly. You also see some sort of large beetle-like creature floating towards your general direction.
Lord Herobrine: (6) You float your way towards the cave opening on the nearby mountain. After you enter the mouth, you immediately feel something is off. There seems to be some sort of strange magical energies lining the walls, floor, and ceiling of the tunnel. You also sense that this energy has suddenly appeared behind you. You aren’t sure what this is, but you get the feeling you won’t be able to pass through anything lining with this energy. The unlit, undecorated, rectangular corridor extends onward. Just before you, you see the corpse of a child lying face down on the ground. Dried blood is smeared on the wall to your left and along the ground. Should you continue further along the hallway, you’ll find the path seems to split into two: one direction continuing forward and the other going left.

i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartTurn 18
The Space Phantom: (5) You flip off the unicorn, causing it to laugh even harder at you. It says, "You deeply hurt me. Here I was only inviting you over for dinner. And what do you do? You try to throw skulls at me an then have the audacity to flip the bird at me. For shame! I only wished to be your friend. One such as you ought to know better than to engage in such rude behavior."
Trying to drown out the unicorn’s jeers, you turn to some of the elves and try to negotiate a peaceful resolution. One of the elves closer to you says, "But people taste good. And we must bring sacrifices to appease the goddess."
The other nearby elf says, "Fuck y’all! Ah’m sick of all this shit! We ain’t gotta make our livin’ off eatin’ humans. Ah’m a goddarn vegetarian fer Pete’s sake. An Ah’m sick of lookin’ at that statue an listenin to that damn unicorn all tha time."
"What you be saying, you goddamn heretic? This here unicorn is the holiest of holy beasts. And don’t you ever take our fine goddess’s name in vain!"
The elf in the tree speaks, "I say we join this guy/lady. I don’t want to give up eatin’ humans either, but he/she blew Miguel’s face off with a skull. I think we got ourselves a badass over here. Might be the same one who killed Tony."
"You all are a bunch of spineless scum! Our fine goddess and her messengers have been our guardian angels for generation after generation. That’s why we’re always one step ahead of them humans. Their word is good, and it feels good too." After this, you remind the elf of the fact the unicorn swapped bodies with their friend. "Shit, I don’t feel like dying. Fine then, you win. There ain’t going to be no trouble between us." The unicorn seems too busy laughing at you to notice what’s going on.
Rivux: (3) You hang around in the area to study the patterns of the locals. The area is fairly crowded so you probably won’t be able to steal anything anytime soon. Plus you see a few guards wander by occasionally, though they don’t seem to recognize you. Many of the containers look fairly heavy, and you probably won’t be able to carry even one without a cart to aid you. A few of these pass by. Some of them stop by shops and inns whenever their merchants rest. Still, the number of city guards will make this difficult. Waiting for night might be the best option, but you haven’t learned of their patterns then. A few kobolds stop to look at you but then carry on. Then a guard comes up to you and says, "You there. I don’t want any lollygagging around here."
Lord Herobrine: (2) You try taking the left path, but something instantly repulses you back. Thus, you start making your way straight, feeling the magical boundaries within the walls. Eventually, the hallway gives way to a descending spiral staircase. Using your hands to feel for the ceiling and walls, you float your way down. You spend about five or so minutes traveling down this stairwell. At the bottom, you see light shining out and your non-existent eyes start to adjust. Before you, you see a large chamber consisting of an initial rectangular section followed by a lowered circular section connected by two side ramps. The walls of the initial section are lined with torches emitting some strange, octarine light. About five or so corpses have been scattered along the floor here as well as dried blood along the ground. Many of the limbs seem to have been ripped apart by force. In the circular section, you see a large, stone statue depicting an elf woman with six torches on metal posts nearby in a circular formation. The figure has her hands resting on her hips with her elbows fanning outward. Her hair is fashioned in a ponytail and her bangs extend to cover most of her forehead. The statue’s open smile and the angling of her eyes and eyebrows suggest general confidence. To each side of the statue, you see a doorway. There are more corpses in this general vicinity. You also see four small, glowing, spire-like objects.
B Ra Hi An 1: (5) You’re not in a theater, you’re in the priestess’s house. Aside from a gathering area in the center of town you may or may not have scene, this town doesn’t look like it has anything resembling a theater. You storm out of the building to get your hands on a torch. From inside, you hear the mother say, "Shit." You steal one of the torches from one of the townsfolk and turn back towards the house. You contemplate burning the entire village down, but you quickly realize none of the other townsfolk have turned psychotic. Just as you’re about to throw the torch, the mother runs out with a thick scroll in her hands. You toss your implement, and the inside of the house becomes consumed in flames. Some of the other civilians begin throwing torches as well. Others try pecking away at the walls with various tools. Eventually the whole structure collapses.
The mother says, "Who would have thought the priestess would become victim to their corruption?" She turns to you, "I’m sorry we couldn’t explain earlier. I’m not sure what went wrong in there. The symbol on your hand is the unisign. It draws the unicorns to you like honey. They will never stop pursuing you until you become one of them or go mad in the process. I’ve heard it is also capable of corrupting the magic of its host, but I’ve yet to see it with my own eyes. I don’t know what you would describe as eldritch, but these things are definitely abominations. They are creations of Knek, the god of madness. They’ve been around for many generations. I wouldn’t call them incomprehensible, as they seem to feed on the misery of others. We cannot find any way to kill them, and we must rely on the magic of priestesses to ward them off." She hands you the scroll. "I managed to save this from the fire. I don’t think we’ll be able to make use of this, as the priestess was the only one of us who could read or write. But perhaps you can use this or read it aloud to us."
As you start opening the scroll, one of the villagers speaks, "Some of us should travel to Keran so that we may have the protection of a priestess. We must try to seek aid from the king to deal with the unicorn menace. Everyone else should prepare to evacuate." During this, you start reading from the scroll while saying the words out loud. Similar to the scroll from before, the words don’t form into any sort of coherent sentences and the text glows red. As you continue, you cannot stop yourself from reciting the ritual. Out of the corner of your eye, some of the townsfolk look at you. Once finished, your vision turns white for a moment. You have learned Exorcise. Should you find people who are possessed, you are now capable of returning them back to normal. The scroll disintegrates before you.
The mother turns to you and says, "What just happened? If she has granted you some sort of gift, will you be able to help us then?"
Rhyme and Treason: (1) You shift and pull out your chain-axes, trying to make a menacing display. You move in, preparing to throw one of them into the guard to the right. The left guard moves in and bashes your thrown axe to the side with his shield. Momentarily dropping his spear, he grasps the chain with both his hands and yanks on it, pulling your other axe out of your hand. As he’s doing this, the right guard charges in towards you. You try to move out of the way but the sudden pull momentarily freezes you, allowing the man to throw his full body weight at your right arm and wing. Shortly after, the mushroom man charges in, and leaps right into your chest, throwing you to the ground. The third guard soon follows, pinning your remaining arm and wings. You try moving your legs to kick, but the weight of the men prevents you from doing much. The mushroom man says, "You’re under arrest." One of the guards pulls out some rope and ties your hands together with it. The other pulls out another set of rope and straps your wings to your body. The mushroom man pulls out some cloth and wraps it around your mouth. After about five minutes, more guards pour into the room, and the original guards hand you off to them. Although you may struggle, you’ll find it extremely difficult to break yourself out of these bonds.
The guards take you to a brick structure sitting alongside one of the walls. A shield and hawk emblem is engraved into the wall above the entrance. You see several other guards in a to the left of this building practicing their weapons against wooden dummies. Further out, you see archers shooting rounds at far away targets. Inside, you pass a large room with a long, wooden table with several guards eating bread and other items. One of the guards hollers, "Oy, got yerself another rookie eh? What this one do?"
One of the guards escorting you says, "Schmuck tried assassinating the chancellor."
Another person sitting at the table says, "Looks like we got ourselves a badass over here!" The guards escorting you take you down a staircase and into another room. Here, you see an aisle lined with cells enclosed by metal bars.
Someone calls out from behind the group, "Hold on a second, I’ve got to check this one." A mage comes forward and walks in front of you. He performs some incantation and then says, "I don’t sense any magic from this one. You should be fine keeping him/her in here."
Another one of the guards says, "Alright, check for any other weapons." The escorts start searching through your belonging and start feeling up you to find any concealed weapons. "That should be good enough. Take him/her to the cell on the far left." They lead you along the corridor. As you move along, you see about three human prisoners and a dwarf. Once the guards reach your cell, they undo the rope and the cloth, throw you into the cell, and then lock it. They leave shortly. One of the humans lies in the cell across from you.
After about ten to fifteen minutes, he says, "So, what are you in here for?"
NE Sgamer 190: (1) As you see the trees falling down, you turn around to face the two standing kobolds coming at you. An arrow flies near your shoulder but you dodge it. You ready your hammer and charge in, hoping to smash the archer in the head. You only take a few steps before something tackles you from behind and lands you face flat onto the ground. Aside from the added weight on your back, you feel something ripping the javelins and arrows stuck into you out of your body. When you look up, you see the two kobolds far away from you, and the trees have moved as well. Near the kobolds, you see the unicorn looking straight at you. After you briefly turn your gaze, the unicorn suddenly appears in front of you laughing its head off.
You hear the witch’s voice coming from on top of you, "Oh? So you’ve decided to be my servant then? Most excellent! You’ll make a wonderful pony. Maybe you can lick my feet once you’re done with all this. I would most definitely enjoy that. I’m sure you can handle the extra weight. Now, be a good little horsie and get moving!" When she says this, you feel a whip snap down on your right arm.
Trip: (6) You conjure three illusions of yourself and send them floating forward. After that, you charge in yourself, heading straight for the exit on the other side. The golems glance back and forth between you and your copies, but they remain in their positions. Right when you enter the chamber, you feel your foot press down on something. Almost immediately, you see three square slabs slide out and reveal enchanted crossbow turrets, one on the ceiling and each wall to the side. Two of them target the illusions, causing them to dissipate, while the other one launches a bolt into your gut. Undeterred, you keep storming to the exit, zig-zagging your path to avoid getting shot by the crossbow turrets. When you get to the center of the room, you see a bright blue flash of lighting shoot out from the floor, followed by a searing pain. In the aftermath, your skin has been charred and your hands twitch beyond your control. Your mind numbed by the pain, you keep trying to go for the exit, and almost everywhere you walk, the floor blasts you with lightning until you can barely feel the pain. You’ve also received about four more crossbow bolts in various places, and the last illusion disappeared. When you’re almost near the golems, you desperately try to charge past them. When you get almost exactly between them, the golem to the right delivers an undercut punch to your groin. Although you feel immense pain in your lower area, the blow tumbles you forward into the hallway. Considering the fact you’ve had several spells blow up on you earlier, it’s a miracle you’re still alive, but you won’t be able to make it much longer. You start coughing, and blood comes out of your mouth. Although your vision is starting to become hazy, you can see that some of the ground before you is slightly elevated and separated from the rest. You also hear the heavy footsteps of one of the golems coming from behind you.
