Never thought I'd be happy about that.

Um, now I'm seeing Google ads behind the wall. Did I miss something?

They're not on the forum, but they're on pages like this one and this one.

Do we still need the square one on the right that makes my window scroll horizontal now that we have Google back?

BTW, I'm a chick.

[up][up] I guess we need to replenish the depleted money reserves, plus balance out that the forums and the NSFG pages won't bring that much profit any more.

Also known as The Google Incident and The Strange Case Of The Missing Ads. Basically, Google withdrawed their ad service, everyone paniced, lots of strange things happen along the way (such as The Page Blank Incident), and then we got them back after the wall was constructed.

Now, let's hope that small bug is fixed before Google finds out.

It appears to be fixed now. Awesome.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's not. For some reason, the little (i) didn't appear over the flash ads the first time I checked, so I though it was fixed. It's not.

EDIT AGAIN: Okay, this time I'm sure it's fixed. Ads here are consistently from Casale.

[up][up][up][up] (and above) ... I already know about The Situation, guys. I was asking about the sudden return of Google ads.

so, if Google Ads are back, can we have the left-hand side menus back to their original smaller size (especially those menus below the TV Tropes merch icon)? It seems to me that they've actually grown larger since their size was finalized last week (or was it two weeks ago?).

I'm getting "Server not found" in all the ad areas. It's kind of funny, actually.

Odd. They're working for me. Are you at school/work/whatever? That used to happen for me because my school had some servers that hosted ads blocked.

Huh. Maybe Google was having server problems or something.

As long as they're back now, I'm happy things worked out.

Just gonna add this to the discussion for those who don't check the update on the page about The Situation:

"We've reviewed your site and it appears to be in compliance with our policies at this time. We have now re-enabled ad serving to your site. Please note that because ad serving to your site was temporarily disabled, there may be a delay of up to 48 hours or more before ads begin appearing on your site again."

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.

I'm getting all error messages, which is really weird, as they were showing up yesterday just fine.
