The Goddamned Bats are coming!

I thank the lord that they provided you with a way to lower the encounter rate significantly, without having to chase away ALL the pokemon that you might need for catching with repel in the newer games.

I think the gross-out humor's funny. If you don't like gross-out humor, read smarter webcomics, don't bitch about the ones that don't cater to you directly.

Ah, monochrome faux gray, the perfect retro touch.

And I expected the first Mt. Moon strip to be Zubatzubatzubatzubatzubatzubat.

^^^ Nope, but that's a somewhat apt summary of the second strip...

The strips seem to be sliding away from making fun of the games to just general mockery/silliness now. Which isn't a bad thing.

I thought it would only have ember by then? I remember using ember on zubats pretty well though, they're spec was low enough to take them apart.

An update? I can hardly believe my eyes!

True enough that Scott has been focussing more on VG Cats of late.

I like it, since I played Red all the time in my youth, and seeing it made fun of makes me smile.

Funny story: A few minutes after reading that I was playing Emerald and ended up doing the exact same thing.

Then this happened:

  • "Spinda used TEETER DANCE"
  • "COMBUSKEN was confused"
  • "MALPH whipped his Gameboy across the room, it's not very effective"
  • "Gameboy's batteries fell out, it fainted"
  • "MALPH learned nothing from this experience and went back to try again, it's not very effective"

It's funny, I always just keep pressing my luck and failing miserably, instead of just sucking it up and healing the confusion. :/
