Future Bass is to me what Smooth Jazz is to everyone else.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Why is Spotify's mechanism for downloading music so fucked? All I want to do is download an album to my PC, like you used to be able to do on Google Play Music. But no, apparently downloading music for "offline listening" means fucking nothing to Spotify.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Wait, is there something wonky about that? I've only downloaded playlists off Spotify.
Wait, so is it just not a thing that you can download albums off of Spotify and save them to your computer?
Because like.
I don't give a fuck about playlists.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Don’t @ me, but I need to listen to some jazz.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Oh, you mean so that it can be used outside of Spotify? Yeah, I don't think that's possible.
Wow, fuck that.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Why outside the game does Blackrock and Roll begin completely different than ingame? What is that fanfare doing there? The gradual buildup in the game sounds much better and I have no idea why Glenn Stafford had to put that fanfare into the beginning.
What bothers me most is that I can't get the ingame version anywhere.

Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.I mostly like pop that I find nostalgic.

"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Uff da.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I wonder if Halocene has made a cover of a song I like.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I really like this music video for "My Sweet Lord".
But I'm disappointed with comments I've seen around the internet of people complaining about how music video is about celebrities instead of...something.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I like karaoke versions of ESC songs, cuz they are the closest to instrumental versions.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I've got a direct line to Rusty Egan from the Rich Kids/Visage/etc., but he is telling me Steve Strange apparently got taken advantage of to make fake Visage releases, and even told him "Fuck you, we don't need ya man, we got session musicians". WTF...
I wanna start listenin' to Ramones and more rap.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”How about one of the Ramones rapping? (The very first thing Dee Dee did once he was out of the band, and yes he was serious about it at the time)
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage. So, fun hypothetical idea I had for some reason: some sort of Fake Band festival: fake bands who actually have a fair amount of songs, like Spinal Tap and Infant Sorrow, would be the main acts, with ones who really only have one or two songs in the works could do quick numbers between other bands. If you wanted to pull it off realistically, I guess you'd have to lean heavily into the "real bands masquerading as fake bands" category, and maybe also include the similar Kayfabe Band trope (basically groups that weren't created specifically for fictional works, but do have fictional onstage alteregos).
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.I really like Arrogant Criminals.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I didn't stay up to watch it cuz #oldfart, but fortunately the Jimmy Kimmel show had Ghost's performance of "Call Me Little Sunshine" on YT this morning. Between a NASCAR race this past weekend having a car themed for their most recent album and this, I'm happy that the band is getting a lot more attention...although I have to wonder how many people would lose their shit if they knew that Ghost is Hollywood Satanism: Camp Edition.

Not sure if this belongs here, but do you listen to music (not the in-game soundtrack) while playing video games? I used to do it back in the NES days, but I tried doing it with more modern games and it didnt work out as well, likely due to the fact that dialogue is more and more important in modern games nowadays.
I recently started playing Burnout Paradise, and I did effectively replace the game's very 2008 soundtrack with my own playlist of high-speed tracks.
...damn. RIP.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."
The other day I noticed two of my favorite future bass artists, whose sounds are both bright and melodic, and who I was initially surprised there was apparently no evidence either one knew of the other, apparently found out about each other for the first time. If this leads to a collab, Future Bass perfection may be acheived.
