Well, I've noticed that anisong (a.k.a. anime songs, a subgenre of J-pop) and Eurobeat, to the extent to which I've listened to them, use harmony in certain ways that I like. Like, their choices of chord progressions, and stuff. Ways that differ from, say, what I usually hear in, say, American pop-rock.
Just trying to look for more genres like that.
Sorry to just pop in, but I think this deserves to be posted:

You mean how every one of them uses the "Humoresque" Progression at some point or another?
Like so?
If not, perhaps this
tickles your fancy.
That Streets of Rage track is somewhat more jazz-inspired, but I quite enjoyed that. And I quite enjoyed the Diamond Dust Zone track too. Thank you. *puts both of those games on the "to-listen-to-more" list*
More examples of tracks I really like:
Eh, I've never been fond of JRPG-esque music. It's just not my thing.
Unrelated, but K-Pop fans are starting to get on my nerves. I had no idea until recently how Stan-like they worship their favorite artists. To diss them would be like cursing God in front of a pastor. And you best believe they will move Heaven and Earth to defend them.
Do not spare the feelings of those who would not spare yours.I remember this fairly funny incident that happened in December 2 years ago.
In the Muslim country Malaysia, you'd be hard-pressed to find a radio station that has The Pogues' freaking "Fairytale of New York" in their Christmas Songs Database here.
So, I was amused that THE hip DJ decided to play that Pogues song for the Christmas Songs Edition show at one of the very few indie music stations in the country. He played the uncensored version, so you can hear the word "faggot" loud and clear in the song. So I told the DJ about this via a Facebook post. He replied my post with something like "SHUT UP! The show was almost risked being cancelled just because you diss me for doing something cool in this closed-minded country". Everyone else who also commented replied me with something similar to what he said.
It's kind of awesome being scolded by your favorite DJ even if it's on Facebook. Especially if the incident is specifically due to freaking "Fairytale of New York".

Yes. Born and raised here for the entire 18 years of my life. It's not really fun living here.

"Bottom of the Well" is a joke referencing "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", not a real place in Kuala Lumpur. I've never thought it'd be taken seriously.
Anyway, @Odd1, which aspects did you think make a certain part of Colorado to have the name or similar to it? No, really, I'm curious.

Oops, sorry about the name, @Physical Stamina.
If you think it couldn't get any worse after they made a Michael Jackson hologram, it's planned that hologram Liberace would perform for a world tour.
And thus, we're given this unintentionally hilarious statement that I'll cherish for years to come:
THEY ACTUALLY MADE A MICHAEL JACKSON HOLOGRAM!? I thought that was just an exaggerated joke in a South Park episode.

"I thought Djent was just a band" -Physical Stamina
Yep. I'm just waiting for Guru's turn.

Uh, do you think that the recently released albums count for 2014, or no?
