rM genuinely wanted to help the trolls, very very much. When her help turned out to ruin everything and kill some of them, well...
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicIt changed once she snapped with guilt and the supertrolls were punished for their interference.
Also, I like her name. 'Purple-green-yellow-ultraviolet-octarine-pink' indeed. xD Of course, that's the shorthand version that doesn't get into the exact shades of each color...

"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicHmmm, not really. It's just an extremely rough translation by starfish alien standards. Shade is extremely important to them, of course. If she wanted to be specific, she'd have to use those html codes or something, which would get tricky with octarine and ultraviolet....

"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicNo, that's her brother's name. I'm not sure what they look like, but they have skin like octupi, where they can change the colors to communicate.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersA grudge-bearing pirate hams it up with an insufferable tactician.
In light of recent developments in MSPA itself I have found it necessary to come up with a bunch of bullshit explanation as to why the robot bodies were necessary.
I was actually able to make it make sense. There was mention of how there are some kind of creatures on Derse, "nightmares" of some kind, that make it impossible to go outside. Indeed, these creatures almost killed Catlin as she flew from her own tower to Daurus'.
Therefore I realized that any attempts for Daurus' dreamself to simply leave Derse would have failed. Thus the robots - with the same technology that made the dreamsuit work, which allowed instantaneous transportation using the psychic link between a person's real and dream selves, the robots, once integrated with Daurus and Catlin's dreamselves, could be instantaneously transported away from Derse.
Why didn't he just make him and Catlin more dreamsuits? ...uhhh, probably some combination of the aura of decay on Derse weakening their dreamselves and Daurus wanting to prove his point about how his biomechatronic technology could be used. Yeah, that's it.

Hay Zudak, how does Scribe of Fate sound for Daurus instead of Author of Fate?
