It might be Null Nerve. My Raphael has it and he's never been branded.
My Flynn has only has the Sturdy Earring though (nullify Poison / Bind / Sick) but he's also never been branded. Only Hachiman and Uriel have needed to worry about it.
I've also noticed that Ancient of Days doesn't seem to use Megido Spam if you use Tetrakarn (which my Hachiman has). That one shocks me, but that could be very useful.
I'm gonna try some stuff. BRB.
Edit: o_o
Holy shit. I won.

One Strip! One Strip! So I did it. I beat the Ancient of Days. No way is there anyone tougher than that...
...wow. Burn in hell Sanat. Burn forever.
I mean, he nulls everything but his weakness, so you pretty much can only use almighty attacks on him...and he can still wipe you out the moment he gets a turn. And if you do hit his weakness.... suddenly he uses Gaea's Rage which, if it doesn't kill you makes your demons instantly Lost.
How in the fuck is that in the least bit fair? How? I thought I was though with the tough bosses.
Edit: And now the hinge on my 3DS screen has broke. the plastic covering quite literally popped right off. What the hell do I do now? I was able to put it back on, but I can't afford to buy or trade in for a new one (I doubt I can trade in a broken one anyway). I could see a bit of the circuit board on it. Shit, I'm in trouble!

One Strip! One Strip!Once you get used to him Sanat is far easier than the Ancient.
Bring something that repels Phys.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."...
And now I need Repel Phys huh? Typical
Also, copying this on this post in case people miss it:

One Strip! One Strip!...holy crap, take it to the shop.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."With what money?
I don't have much to fix it with. I have to wait until then. So no 3DS games until I can either replace it or fix that part.
One Strip! One Strip!Wow, sorry dude.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."It's actually not too bad now that I look at it more. Like I said, I popped it back in. I think I can still use it normally if I'm careful, but getting it fixed is still important.
I won't be taking it out of the house very much to play it safe, but as long as I keep it here, if it pops out again, I should be able to just put it back.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
In regard to your earlier advice Hamburger: should I also have some Null Gun as well?
Edit: God Dammit!
So I put in someone with Repel Phys (Mara) and had someone who nulled gun as well. I avoided using Gun attacks myself and wore him down...and then, just before the second stage, he started using Gaea's rage like crazy...even though I never used any Gun attacks on him, clearing out my party, which is massive bullshit. Even then, I was wearing him down, and might have won (even though he kept Gaea raging for every turn). I even started using Gun on him since it gave me an extra turn to heal anyway). Unfortunately, he then used Silent Prayer to remove my buffs and debuts, and then I chose not to heal (instead using Energy Drain, which didn't grant me enough health since I lost the buffs and de-buffs) and I died.
I mostly annoyed at the sudden Gaea's Rage. I thought he only uses it if you hit his weaknesses. Bullshit.

One Strip! One Strip! He switches to almighty spam at the halfway point no matter what, I'm sorry to say.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Well, I got a plan. I'm gonna try it, and if it doesn't work, I can still use the advice of a youtube video I just saw. Gonna mess up his stupid face.
Edit: Woo!
First, I made myself a Demiurge for another demon with Repel Phys. Antichton meant I could do damage while lowering stats, which is better than debilitate in this case. I have Kartikeya using Luster Candy, and then Megidoplasma, Mara using Megidolan, and then they'd use energy drain when mp was low.
Once I reached the Second stage, I answered with the last question, buff my stats more and got a first turn.
Then I started using all my gun spells (since I knew he'd just Gaea's Rage my guys away once his turn came) and committed myself to doing as much damage as possible before hand...and killed him before his next turn ever came.
Stick your head up your own behind and breathe in your own bullshit Sanat. You dead.

One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
Should I challenge Masakado's Shadow now, or wait until I'm on Neutral (since he's a neutral boss and all)?
One Strip! One Strip!I do not know. You need the elemental and Physical pierce passives on your team since he drains all but Almighty, which he resists.
How can you resist All Mighty? I thought the entire point of All Mighty is that nothing counters or resists or null / Absorbs / Repels it?
Wow these guys can pull some bullshit sometimes.
...And I just messed up my 3DS again. So much for being careful.
One Strip! One Strip!Almighty can be resisted, but that's usually reserved for endgame bosses and every so often there is a Bonus Boss who resists Almighty. Devil Survivor 2 makes almighty resistance a passive skill that you can get.
There's also the gimmick bosses that null it.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’shekinah resists it in strange journey redux too.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."All Your Powers Combined is one hell of a drug for an alreasy powerful God in her true form.
And to think she hasn't even absorbed Demiurge or the Metatron formed pieces.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Alright. Managed to fix that hinge on the 3DS again...though I'm definitely not gonna be able to get any notifications unless I check manually (since that's the side that's broken).
Now I gotta decide if I want to try and fix it, or replace it. The former is cheaper (and Rob loves cheapness), but I feel like the latter would be better...only I don't know if I'd do that much with it).
One Strip! One Strip!Took great pleasure in unleashing Ouroboros on Captain Jack, heh heh.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Finally saying goodbye to Fornax. Made sure to hunt down Black Rider before I left, too.

Someone found a prototype cartridge of Devil Children Book Of Ice!
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.I've finally started playing through Strange Journey Redux again. Just beat Asura and am currently working my way through the Third Sphere of the Womb of Grief.
Still thinking of going through Law Plus, because as much as I like the Law Plus ending, seeing the crew members effectively lobotomized still gives me the chills.
I like to think that Zelenin and Jimenez return the crew to normal in their extended endings
Heart of Stone
I don't think they said it's Null Phys that prevents Brand, but Null Nerve. I'm not sure if that's even true.
