"It's called the Engineer! It's really good with technology, and it only eats these things called watermelons!" Blink responded cheerfully. The Engineer moved forward on its tentacles, the remarkably expressive eyes conveying a great deal of curiousity as in gentally brushed everyone in reach with its tentacles.
"Blink... what... what were you thinking?!" Gordon asked, practicly hysterical. "You just dragged this thing out here without even questioning it?"
"Well, it's file says it's safe!" Blink said. "So I figured 'why not?'!"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Ack! Bastard...
Spriggan felt the sting when his right shoulder was partially scratched, almost ripping up the Goretex jacket. But he decided to ignore it.
"Thanks for the data, but did you have to bring..." He pointed out the thing Blink brought along. "Never mind, you know what cell he's in?"
The teen checked out the files Blink brought back.

"I found it in cell 557!" Blink replied happily. "Isn't that right, Engie?"
The Engineer clicked in response, and then one of its tentacles rapidly divided at the tip, splitting off into smaller and smaller tentacles.
"What's it doing?" Gordon asked.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Dis Baba gently brushed away the creature's probing tentacles, staring at it in curiosity. He made that odd throat-clicking noise as the tips of its tendrils began to transform.

The Danse Macabre CodexRey stared at the strange tentacle, then shook his head, turning to start down the hall in the opposite direction. "No. Nuh-uh, no. Sorry, no. After fighting those things in that girl challenge, I'm not doing this again. No way, no, no no no, no. I'm going to go this way, I'm going to find a quiet corner somewhere and just sit there quietly and mind my own business until this one's over."
Easing back into life one step at a timeThe tentacle finaly split down to the point where it was barely visible, pink strands... which reached over towards Gordon's H.E.V suit. Before he could even react, one of the front panels had been removed from the suit.
"What the hell?!" he said, snatching the panel away and backing up.
The Engineer clicked and briefly looked down at the ground, as if in dissapointment.
"Yeah, Engie likes to take things apart!" Blink explained. "Right Engie?"
The Engineer looked up and let out a gurgling click as all six eyes once again focused on Gordon's suit.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Help?" Blink asked, tilting her head. "I just brought him along 'cause he's interesting, and kinda cute!"
She reached out and patted the Engineer's head. It burbled happily and rubbed its head against her hand, before returning its focus to Gordon's suit.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Bowser was not happy about Blink teleporting a SCP out of its containment. He read most of the files on them and didn't like what he read. He was about to reprimand her when a guard came around the corner.
One look was all it took before he was scrambling for his walky-talky.
"We have a SCP on the loose! I repeat, we have a SCP on the loose."
Alarms were blaring shortly afterward.
Bowser was now furious.
"Great work Blink, you just gave us all a death sentence!"
Rey looked around at all the alarms, then sighed, resting his face in his hand, not saying anything.
Easing back into life one step at a time"And now you see why I was against using our abilities to gather information," Dis Baba said archly.
The Danse Macabre CodexSuddenly, the Engineer's tentacles shot down and began to rapidly dismantle the floor beneath it. Seconds later, it had vanished into the floor, and sealed it up above it, sitting among a great deal of wires.
Blink regarded the spot. "Huh. I was just about to say I would have to take him back to his cell, too..."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""I haven't seen anything," Blink lied. The Engineer was now sitting comfortably in the accessway for the electrical power in the room, having squeezed itself in quite tightly.
"Right... we haven't seen anything," Gordon said.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Dis Baba pointed down the hall in the opposite direction. "I saw nothing, but I heard a noise from further down the corridor."

The Danse Macabre CodexIt was at that moment that Bowser noticed the camera in the corner of the room they were in recording everything that was going on.
He simply brought his clawed hand up to his face.

The guard nods. "Thank you. Say isn't one of you supposed to be with 239 and playing with her?"
Yeah um guys that's your plot...

Dis Baba's first response was to curl his index finger and scratch the boy with the sharp talon at its tip, leaving a small cut that stung far, far more than such a tiny injury should have; then he released Spriggan, but before the alien pulled away he would be able to catch a brief, clear glimpse of Dis Baba's eyes.
The sclera were glossy and hard, divided into an odd number of alternating bands of red and blue in a startling approximation of a bruise, and the irises were a sickly shade of green-tinged yellow. More disturbing, however, were the pupils; inverted pentagrams that seemed to swallow up all light in their vicinity, they expanded and contracted like the maws of some hideous worm, suckling greedily at the air as if to devour all it had to offer.
Then Blink returned, along with her odd guest, and the moment passed. Dis Baba, his eyes once again inscrutable within the recesses of his deep eye sockets, stared at the creature in confusion. "...What is it?"
