Recommend adding a trope list before that article is cut for not being relevant to this web site. TVTropes is not an encyclopedia. (I know I didn't answer your question at all, but that is way more important than where to index it.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I don't quite understand. We have pages for the The Angry Video Game Nerd and The Irate Gamer, who are also game reviewers, but looking over the site now I see that we don't have pages for IGN, Gamespot, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Game Informer, or Game Pro. However there are articles for Game Players Magazine, which I have never heard of, and for Nintendo Power, which is quite similar to IGN64. I don't see the basis for providing certain publications articles while ruling that out for other, similar publications.

There Is No Such Thing As Notability cuts both ways. While any such works page can be launched, someone who thinks a work deserves a page (and hopefully knows enough about it to make a list of trope examples) has to come and launch it first.
As for indexes, at minimum it would go on Other Sites, I think.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)if you look at the page for, for example, The Angry Video Game Nerd, you'll notice that after the description, there's a list of tropes. Make a list like that for IGN 64.
Okay, thanks guys, I'll work on adding more trope examples. I'm currently looking over IGN 64 and taking notes, cross-referencing similar articles on tvtropes (e.g., the AVGN), so I will see if I can get the page up to snuff; otherwise I can't really argue against the article's removal. This is the first program description that I've written, so ... yeah, bear with me as I try to develop it.
"I don't quite understand."
I think you figured this out already, but yeah, the question is not about the relative importance of similar video-game-review thingamabobs, but the fact that they invoke tropes. You might get other useful stuff out of a works article, but by far the most important thing is that the article lists tropes commonly used by the work. Cataloging tropes and their use is the point of this web site.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.BTW, shouldn't IGN be the main name, since that's the current name now?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

Hey — I developed the stub for IGN 64, but I'm not sure where to index the article.
