It's like always having a tiny music player in my head where the volume is always up to 0.11.

And by hearing, I mean by thinking so much about a song, I hear it faintly in Real Life. It's so awesome.

I don't even have to try to have music of some sort playing in my head. It can actually get kinda annoying sometimes when it gets stuck looping a certain section of a song I've been hearing a lot of recently.

On the other hand, I believe I can almost perfectly recall the music from Crystalis with just a little bit of effort (sometimes it takes some sifting to get the song I want). Right now I have the Angry Sea theme in my head, thanks to thinking about Crystalis music.

Wait: Do you guys mean like imagining the tune in your head, or actually tricking yourself into thing it's coming from your ear.

Imagining the tune in my head. Tricking myself into "hearing" it would be quite impressive.

Honestly, I'm impressed enough with how music sticks in my head anyway since I have trouble processing sound sometimes.

I usually always have music playing in my head. Which is why mind readers would be driven crazy around me, as they'd be hearing ambient background music in their mind reading.

I was talking about the latter. I can do it, you can too probably. Just go somewhere where it's really quiet, and focus on a song you like.

I had the ability to trick myself into hearing a well-memorized sound from any sound source. It was quite awesome but then I didn't need it after all, and I slowly lost it.

My imagination is enough, I just imagine it in my head... and often I sing along.

You know that feeling when you're hearing music in your head and then it loops then it stops and starts from the beginning again and you find yourself humming to the tune?

I FEEL THAT ALL THE TIME.

Hmm, don't think I managed to make myself "hear" the song yet. But the ability to play music in my head with a certain high fidelity is one of the perks of my habit of listening to the same songs over and over.

It's happened to me before. It's just sorta like... having your memory of the song on autopilot.

I find myself mashing up certain pieces of music that have similar rhythms in my head, or just outright adding new segments or extending existing ones. It tends to sound awesome.

It also irks me that I can't actually hear what I've just concocted, and probably never will.

The good news is if you have an annoying song stuck in your head, you can just play right the hell over it.

I have 20 years of video game music and 13 of performance music filed away. Plenty of ammunition evil grin
