Now I'm sure you are well aware that there was an astro boy movie that was done during 2009, but that didnt do so well. Now oddly enough...I came across an interview by Genndy Tarakovsky about him mentioning that he was supposed to do an astro boy film.

I would have made it easy for adding works and making them clickable leading to the source but I'm still getting the hang of this site.

So I think the astro boy film would be better if it was done by Genndy. It seems his style to do.

Symbionic Titan probably came about from Genndy's scrapped plans for the Astro Boy movie.

Genndy Tartakovsky doing Astro Boy is like Peter Jackson doing Lord of the Rings.

Fanboys nowadays may think its a good idea, but fans of the source will know better, and in thirty years everyone will agree that the readers were right.

It would certainly have been better than the movie we got. Tezuka's humor and Genndy's are a bit too different though I think.

This movie was perfect. It was emotional, and philanthropic, and moving, and ohgodIampukingrainbowsthisisnotmestopitplease...

Ahem.

Nice film.

Excuse me, I have Sand in My Eyes.

Anyway, funny how robots get blown up and out and off and even Astro doesn't care unless it's personal.

Best line in the movie: "What is wrong with you people?" "I love you"

I don't want to set the world on fire, baby. I love you too much. I just want to start a big, big flame in your heart.

[up][up][up][up] So what if Jackson took some liberties with Two Towers? Was still a pretty solid adaptation Mr Weeaboo Manifesto man.
