And lets not talk about Shigure or the other girls...

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!You know, I think I would prefer the Fanservice if the girls actualy got hurt and then we would have them being healed and in badages. Thinking back, Kisala is the only one I remember seeing hurt to any great extent. And we all know she is has the least assets of all the women, other than the sister.
Most Common Superpower and Boobs Of Steel... FTL? (Edit:
For The Lose, as in opposit of For The Win.)
I remember that conversation a while back about Shigure and her "bathing sute." I would not be surpized if a lot of the drawing of females goes...
Step 1) Draw body. Step 2) Draw dtails on body. Step 3) Add clothes.
...instaid of skipping step 2.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Am I the only one who cares more about the fact that Ukita is in a hotel room playing poker with Kisara and Freya than about whether or not Apachai survives? Go on, Ukita. Suggest strip poker. DO IT. The judo guy's about to get some. *bow chicka bow-wow*
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this. You already said this at some potnt. What brand of service do you like? To Love Ru is surprisingly good at this.
'''YOU SEE THIS DOG I'M PETTING? THAT WAS COURAGE WOLF.Cute, isn't he?First I prefer is not to be gratuitous. Don't cause Clothing Damage with things that would not realistically compromise the integrity of clothing, don't manipulate angles to give the audience a taste of things the characters aren't getting, don't use contrived coincidences as a vehicle for fanservice if they're not also driving the plot, and so on. Basically, think "in a story, if providing titillation were not the author's sole or primary motivation, how likely is it that this would have happened?" If the odds are too low, it feels forced, and I'm not going to be pleased.
This is not that hard to get around, sexuality plays a large enough part in people's lives on purpose that it doesn't have to be handed down by divine intervention.
Second, I like some variety in the body types I'm being presented with, but failing that, I prefer characters whose secondary sexual characteristics would not be appropriately described as exaggerated.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back. That fanservice was acceptable to me.
I'll note that while it did apply significant levels of Male Gaze, I consider it acceptable because it's provided from the viewpoint of an interested character, not a dispassionate universe-window, which goes back to my point about the fanservice being provided by the nature of the characters or the plot, not being handed down from on high by the author.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.Nana To Kaoru is my favorite representation of fanservice in a manga.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I think Nana To Kaoru is good fanservice, but bad wish fulfillment; I have a hard time understanding why so many manga which are ostensibly about wish fulfillment provide protagonists who exceptional losers, rather than everymen.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.Yup, I've definitely seen worse too.
Once you've seen Eiken, it's hard to call any fanservice over the top.
That was probably the first time that fanservice outright weirded me out.

Yeah, it's become boring. I liked Pullover Miu best, myself.
