You know, I expect that
this "trap" was specifically made so that the person who was able to take off the rosary got to see the truth. I foresee that there is another, "normal" way out and that he will have to/be able to find it. It will probably require Moka's help.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! You're right. The only Fridge Logic I can think of to explain his reaction is that he was thinking Outer was a part of Inner, and not a completely new personality. Sort of like Change 123.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Ummm . . . No, nobody thought Moka had a fake personality before this chapter. For the whole series everyone just thought they were split personalities. To them, it was "Inner" and "Outer" not "Fake" and "Real". Outer Moka was pretty much the main reason for all the growing Tsukune does during the series. Give the guy a break.

Looks like he is having a devil of a time with the new training. Who wants to bet she breaks through the "unbreakable wall" because of how much she cares for him?
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Outer Moka. I simply don't like her, and then the protagonist is absolutely fixated on her to the detriment of the rest of the more interesting cast. Inner Moka is okay.
And if you're inclined to mention it, no, shipping has nothing to do with it. I don't really like the cast enough for that.
