Maybe a little too short, though understandable for movies where there really isn't much to say about them.
Optimism is a duty.New Projector this time on the Australian shark film Great White:
Last night, Mat uploaded a new Projector on yet another Bruce Willis DTV action flick; Out of Dead:
New Projector, Mat looks at Jurassic Hunt and discusses what makes the difference between a bad but enjoyable movie and a movie that's just bad:
A (by his own admission) late Projector, looking at the 2020 animated adaptation of the 1997 novel Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, retitled Firedrake the Silver Dragon for it's US Netflix debut:
Yeah, talk about an own goal comparing yourself to a superior movie.
Optimism is a duty. After 18 months, Mat is back at the cinema, and for his first Projector review covering something he's seen in theatres this year, he's taken a look at Copshop:
I hope he will review The Green Knight soon.
Optimism is a duty. The movie already premiered in the US, so it's probably ineligible for Projector anymore.
Just a person. He/him.How so? Does he have a rule about that?
Optimism is a duty.Yup, the Projector reviews are for movies that were released in the UK before their US premiere.
Just a person. He/him.Oh, I didn't realize that. That's very specific.
Optimism is a duty.Buck recently made a Twitter thread about his own audience not appreciating his content and how they harass him for not making Bad Movie Beatdown. At this point, I can understand him wanting to quit if he ever wants to. It's clear his own audience is tearing into his mental health.
Well, not everyone. I'm his audience, and I'm fine with his show, though Bad Movie Beatdown was fun too.
Optimism is a duty.New Projector on C.I.Ape... and yes, this is an actual movie:
I can believe that. This sounds like that certain breed of movie that is based on little more than a pun, and a funny animal movie to boot.
Optimism is a duty.I have trouble believing that it came out in the UK first, when its title references an agency that only the US would consider heroic. And that it's not a modern movie reboot of Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp.
This sounds like a fictional movie they'd bring up as a gag in 30 Rock.

Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Mathew takes a look at Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond in No Time to Die:
Mathew's coverage of the London Film Festival begins with a look at The Harder They Fall (2021):
Late Projector episode from Mat talking about Last Night in Soho, which he's been waiting for 2 years to see:
Another slightly late Projector on Ghostbusters: Afterlife:
And yet another slightly late episode, this time on Spider-Man: No Way Home:
It's a shame the Ghostbusters reboots are just nostalgia trips with a new cast. It's the disease of our media age, it seems.
Optimism is a duty.
A bit of an experiment, Mathew is doing #Shorts reviews; brief reviews of films he's seen that are under a minute long and lack the traditional Projector/BMB set. His first video is a review of The Devil Below. Warning, it's vertical:
