Thank God we are going to get the translations of the Higurashi V Ns so late. If you think they are doing an awful job now, you would have melted your keyboard in rage with... pretty much everything they did in Higurashi. Umineko has been a nice adaptation so far, and is leagues above anything Deen has ever adapted.
Well, Deen also made the Fate Stay Night TV anime, which was good enough, and they're also making the upcoming Unlimited Blade Works movie. At least this isn't as bad as what I've heard about the Tsukihime anime...
Just saw the 16th episode. Umm... Well kudos to Kyrie and Rudolf for lasting as long as they did. EVA-Beatrice is striking me as a vengeful and sadistic Asa Shigure, by virtue of seiyuu. That aside, I can't be the only one detecting Foe Yay between Beato and Battler, right? I seem to be liking said ship as of the recent episodes.
Foe Yay is the whole point of the relationship between Beato and Meta-Battler in the third and fourth arcs. As I've said many times, I find spurned!Beato hilarious.
Rudolf always kind of struck me as looking like anime-James Bond. Now I see I was justified in thinking that.
BTW, this is the anime that has made me resort to Fan Nicknames the most, I can't possibly keep track of 30+ guys. For me, Eva-Beatrice's new furniture are Grinbitch and Mikuru.
It's impressive how a Closed Circle series about the same group of people stranded on a island manages to add more and more characters with each arc.
(And with names like "Siesta 410" and "Siesta 45", Fan Nicknames are pretty much mandatory...)

Heck, since I've spoiled myself a long time ago:
It's surprising that a Closed Circle mystery not only gets more characters, but we've got characters actively invoking Decoy Protagonist, usurping the Big Bad spot, inserting their own pieces out of nowhere.
My personal favorite is Battler going from denying witches to becoming one. Can't wait till they animate that part.
As the folks on Scans Daily like to say, it's never just you.
He reminds me more of Lupin III, but that's probably because he dresses similarly.
410's voice is somewhat annoying. Well, at least the fact that that's a shotgun shell continues the string of mundane murders. Everyone's using sawed-off shotguns too, so that really diminishes the list of suspects for this round. The mention of how the Stakes could be killed by gunfire despite being magical is pretty telling, if I do say so myself.
Straight through the medulla oblongata huh? Ew, no wonder they censored that.
Anyway, we got some back story, which I'm sure will be very important in the upcoming arcs, Rudolf's humorous one-liner about westerns, the return of Worldend Dominator and I liked the Siestas' leitmotif. Decent episode.

For the love of Haruhi that's just... What, Mahou Shoujo Pretty EVA-Beatrice? Isn't that something from Hayate The Combat Butler?

i've seen the episode summaries, and they're rushing the end of banquet.
i wouldn't be surprised if they do the tea parties for ep4 in the second half of episode 26. because really, deen has done an awful job already, why would it be better??
