Please tell me this thread isn't going to be about how much better UK hip-hop is than American shit...
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Apples and oranges. The two artists I put up there really don't fit into the hip-hop genre.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.I'm just surprised there hasn't been a "The UK Rape Scene" snowclone yet. Are snowclones back in fashion?
...weird. I was listening to Thou Shalt Always Kill just a few days ago.

^^dan le sac vs. Scroobius Pip sound pretty hip-hop to me.

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.UK hip-hop needs to be developed further in tv tropes because of how much more popular it is than it was years back and the prominence of Stormzy, Santan Dave etc
Now, I'm not in the UK, but until I became aware of the UK rap scene, I could count the rap artists I liked on one hand. Two examples that flat-out LEAP to mind are:
Akira the Don and Dan Le Sac (vs Scroobius Pip)
