New opening sound is very "James Bond theme" to me.
The last third of the opening feels out of place. The first minute or so plays out like a slow, passionate song, in stark opposition to fighting gold's frantic rythm, but then the last third feels liek they're trying to redo fighting gold.
It's also weird to have that as a direct followup to fighting gold. That kind of song is more fitting of the beginning of an arc, while fighting gold would have worked fine for the conclusion.
But the more i listen it, the more it grows on me, so AH WELL.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Watching the new season, and now this is relevant again.

Mileena MadnessKing Crimson is not that complicated. The Boss just activates its ability and every later.
King Crimson turns the world into Windows Movie Maker and you can cut out the scene where the guy's going to punch you in the face.
My various fanfics.I tend to think of it as King Crimson doing a ten second skip in a DVD or Youtube video, only you're the one in the movie and your suddenly find yourself ten seconds ahead of wherever you just were.
The thing is that his power would be useless without Epitath. He cuts out the part where he dodges you perfectly thanks to future vision and then you're stuck without knowing he dodged at all. The biggest difference between King Crimson and the World is that King Crimson doesn't leave you helpless. It just disorients you.
I cant wait for the King Crimson version of the OP. There are too many bits at the end that feel like they're missing something.

... And that's called jazz! There's definitely a point near the end of the full Traitor's Requiem that sounds similar to King Crimson's timeskip.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!New Jojolion out. I pity the poor receptionist having to deal with these weirdoes bugging him about the boss.
Came back again to share a few things I cooked up in my head.
So we all know that Jotaro’s beating Heaven Dio made no sense but I have a bit of a theory on how Jotaro beat Dio. The comeplte Saint Corpse only empowers those who believes the mtoive is just, just so happens that Dio is a dick so it empowered Jotaro with the power to beat Heaven Dio.
I also notice that Dio has a Jesus disiciplw in his ranks. He has a total of twelve disciples. 9 Egypt Glory Gods + Hol Horse + Vanilla Ice + Enrico Pucci. Left out Tenore Sax though
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Jotaro's Star Platinum OG magically time freezing and resisting was an asspull. It seems to only be there as a nod to how DIO was originally killed. I tried fanwanking it into that because Dio fused with Jonathan's body, he accidentally gave Jotaro the potential of time freeze because relatives get similar powers, and Dio was biologically half relative at that point
I saw a theory that Jotaro had no idea how to play poker against D'arby and the stress of the situation caused him to stop time and grab the cigarette and juice without anyone noticing.
If that idea had been built up a bit more, I could've accepted the final battle easier.
I actually considered briefly when I saw the ending of part 3 whether the d'arby fight had been some kind of foreshadowing of Star Platinum's time stop ability, since D'arby wonders how Jotaro got his glass so fast. It's not, though, unfortunately.
Yeah, it's kind of a thing that works in hindsight, but I don't know if Araki actually intended that as foreshadowing for Jotaro developing that power. Though he knew what DIO's power was by that point, undoubtedly, given that the Hol Horse scene came right before the D'arby encounter in the manga.
Really intrigued by the Head Doctor and his Stand(?) in the new Jojolion. So Josuke sees the stand, attacks it, but it vanishes. And then it's pointed out no one else noticed it. And the doctor keeps appearing ahead of them despite "seriously! 89!". And then when Josuke starts grilling ex-boyfriend about being suspicious the doctor suddenly turns up on the couch ahead. I'm honestly not even sure if the Doctor is real or if he's just ex-boyfriend's cover. It's not an airtight theory by any means, since he apparently showed up during Tsurugi's incident.
Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines. I was expecting it to turn out that the ex-boyfriend was the head doctor right until he went "there's the head doctor right over there." His fashion sense alone means he's probably a Stand user, and I suppose he could be using Stand shenanigans to be in two places at once somehow.
So far everything he did felt like something King Crimson could do.
So is Part 9 going to be Vento Aureo + Stone Ocean?
Lol all this time I got Savage Garden and Soundgarden confused and I wondered why there was such a drastic change in musical style lol.
Idk about the new ending theme. I'll have to listen to it more to like it. Like originally I didn't like Last Train Home but now it's a pretty tearjerking theme as it works with the context of the part really well.
Roundabout is still the GOAT ending though.

Notorious Chase?!
It's funny because Chase is the least notorious Jojo opening.
Right, people dislike it for the type of music it used.
Just finished the new episode. The first third of the new OP is weak in terms of sound and visually I'd say it's half better, half worse than Fighting Gold. New ED is worse than both versions of the first one both in sound and in visuals.
