I'm surprised the effects of November Rain and Smooth Operators were temporary. I thought they straight up murdered those cops.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).if giorno can survive getting his insides mashed by cioccolata, anyone in this series can survive anything
they look less dead this time
Secret SignatureDragona was probably able to get him to lay off early enough because they've seen how far he can go, but I would've expected the cops to be pockmarked with bruises at the least.
Main universe Diego Brando has always struck me as disproving Speedwagon's statement that Dio was born evil. He's literally an alternate universe version of Dio Brando but is an Anti-Villain instead. Is a difference between the PB and SBR universes how gray morality is or something?

Unmarked Steel Ball Run spoilers ahead:
Diego was raised by his mother, rather than Dario. She cared for him much more than Dario in the first universe ever did. His anger and resentment at the world at large arguably stems at least in part from how she was treated, and the events that lead to her death when he was still young.
It's probably safe to assume that Diego from another universe is closer to his first universe counterpart, from what little we see of him, he's much more petty and cruel.

Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.Couldn't you just... mark them?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHad time to finally read the latest chapter and seeing Rohan made me giggle with glee.
Burning love!(2) Steel Ball Run has been published and available for years, and there is an anime-only Jojo's Bizarre Adventure thread.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Yeah but itβs still dumb to make a post saying that his has spoilers and then do nothing to actually cover said spoilers.
@ Grahf: That only proves my point that Speedwagon's assessment was wrong
In the context of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, what would you say makes for a good character design, aesthetically speaking? Who has your favorite character design in this series and why?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Wonder of U with Satoru's outfit is peak design for me. Probably cause i'm a sucker for elegant outfits.
Due to unfortunate events, i will continue to exist until further notice.Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak Chapter 14: So, Josuke literally pulled an Angelo and Miyamoto on Karaiya first, huh? Also, how has it been fourteen chapters in, and we still don't know the name of Petsounds' Stand? At least Space Trucking didn't get a full body reveal until it also got a name.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve. So, there is a concept that was introduced in CDDH, which I wonder if it could appear in Jojolands: Karaiya, the dirty cop who is using Petsounds, made the bird eat a piece of his ear, with the result (if I understood it correctly) of partialy sharing the stand so he is able to see other stands, and isn't aaffected by Petsound's. A possible way I could see it appearing is having a character that gets a transplant from a stand user, and now shares or inherits the stand (if the donor is dead), or, in the case of a villain, has gotten multiple transplants, functionally having multiple stands (maybe even hunting for them). Any thoughts?
If you think about it, that explanation kinda makes the process sound very similar to the Rokakaka's equivalent exchange, except explicitly for stands. The whole monologue about stands at the beginning of Part 9 seems like it could be hinting at something of that sort, but we'll see if Araki goes through with it.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Rinsan's hypothesis does honestly make it sound pretty similar to Equivalent Exchange, but honestly, I think it might be akin to how Kira effectively fused Stray Cat into Killer Queen's body, thus allowing him the powers of both Stands as an explosive Bubble Gun that he can change the trajectory of.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.@ RJ-19-CLOVIS-93
I wasn't disagreeing with your point. You had asked whether there was a difference between the first universe Dio and SBR Diego.
EDIT: regarding spoilers, I didn't feel the need to completely spoiler years old and somewhat irrelevant plot details, but at the same time giving a small head's up as a courtesy. I didn't think it was going cause any issues.

Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.So I finally actually saw a panel from the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan with the Part 4 characters in it, and that gave me an instant laugh. Araki's art has changed a lot over time so we can't read anything into that either, but Okuyasu and Koichi immediately made me think "O-Q-yasu" and "Q-ichi"*. Considering the new Part 9 chapter features falsified security footage of Q-Part 9 gang, I can't get ridiculous wrong-faced versions of our characters out of my head. ;P
* For anyone who doesn't know what I'm referring to, there's a meme referring to the not-Jotaro at the end of Part 6 as Qtaro after the fake name he gave in Part 3.

Must be the work of an enemy Stand. ...And I think I know who.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
That reminds me, a couple of years ago Araki drew Kid Goku, and they way he drew him made him look like Part 4 Koichi. It makes you wonder...
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I know everyone says that Echoes looks like both Frieza and Cell, but it was confirmed that Red Hot Chili Pepper was designed after Frieza.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.I think RHCP is my favorite Stand. It feels so basic, but it just hits a ton of notes that I like.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI love Stands with really verbose and ridiculous sounding names. It's just fun to hear them be said during a fight. Red Hot Chili Peppers is one of those.
Even Diego "Dio" was pretty similar to the classic DIO.
