The general idea of the image works (as it shows Sokka on his high) but let's make it along the lines of "Yes, this is a kid's show. It's only Cactus juice."

Children, when you are putting the page into the slot, you have to use the actual title of the page, not a redirect. I put the ptitle in.

.....actually, the more I look at the picture, the more I CANT tell that he's high on cactus juice without the motivator. I'm well familiar with the episode, and I think there might be better pictures from that episode that better demonstrate Sokka's hallucinations from the cactus juice besides that one.

The second is much more illustrative and funnier. If the artist grants his/her permission.

What if we kept the original image and used the demotivator part for the caption? IIRC, that's what we did for a couple other images.

I did some cut-and-pasting of the collage of images from the show; how's this look?

Sokka seems to be enjoying his cactus juice a little too much.tongue

Yeah, there's nothing (or at least nothing inherently) wrong with doing this. I keep trying to remind people that the "demotivator ban" is more about style and legibility than "Anything that originates from a demotivator is Evil."

I'm not sure it necessarily works in this particular case, but just taking the "image" bit out of the demotivator and putting the "text" bit in our caption often works quite well.

I suppose that on its own could work as well.

He looks poisoned to me. Is there a picture of him actually freaking out or doing something weird?

Unfortunately I think hallucinogen trips viewed from the outside just look like an affliction. Even if dilated pupils is a common sign of being "high", I see the poisoned thing, it just doesn't feel right.

Would Dumbo be an example? The Pink Elephants scene is pretty weird, and I think they are shown with Dumbo himself at one point.

Like this. Probably too confusing.

I know this is really long, but it does a better job of showing Sokka reacting to the cactus juice.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long. The last three frames add hardly anything.

If you swapped the 4th with the 6th and cut the rest below the 4th out, though, maybe we'd have something.

Without some kind of transition, moving straight from the iris swell to him doing the caterpillar in the desert could just be a weird fall as opposed to him actually acting stoned. I'll tinker with this some more.

Here's another suggestion. Let's hope he never gets trapped in the desert with Sokka.
