An average high school guy winds up being a participant in a Magical Girl Deadly Game (complete with Gender Bender transformation), which turns out to have been orchestrated by his love interest, who is actually a Psycho Lesbian who wants his female form and isn't happy that the Game's combatants are cooperating to investigate the Game instead of trying to kill each other as intended.
Late reply but I'll make sure to check it out.
Any more mangas, L Ns or animes with an evil female love interest other than Kampfer or Space Adventure Cobra? Been trying to check Busou Shoujou Machiavellianism by the by
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."another manga recommendations that i need:
Suggest me a manga that has similar premise to Psyren but much more obscure.
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Hey all.
Want to resub to Crunchyroll for Jo Jo: Vento Aureo and was hoping to get some other recommendations to check out.
Need suggestions. People keep suggesting me the same stuff over and over on Anime Suggest and it's driving me nuts. Haven't found anything new to watch in a long time.
-R rated. Violence and blood. Horror is my favorite genre but dark will do.
-At least one cute girl
-I have a thing for defeat/punishment/humiliation of cute girls
Here is my anime list
Anime I especially liked. Madoka, Magical Girl Raising Project, Mirai Nikki.
They say it bursts through your clothes when it takes you over...
I have several shows within your criteria.
- Kotoura-san is my go-to recommendation. There's no blood, and it's a Romantic Comedy. Don't be fooled though; its Downer Beginning manages to mold the whole show into a Deconstructor Fleet. Plus, the titular girl is adorable both In-Universe and out.
- Yuki Yuna is a Hero is yet another Magical Girl show, and the monsters certainly are a threat. However, the true horror sets in well after the first series' halfway point. The more comedy-driven Slice of Life portions are also worth paying attention to for the Drama Bomb's full effect. Compare this to Madoka Magica for looks and overall feel but in a completely different direction. English dub available (first series only).
- Zombie Land Saga (currently airing) has quite the First-Episode Spoiler similar to School-Live (hence the lack of link to the main article). Just watch the trailer
and then start watching the series proper. English dub available.

Heal the Cutie, then point the Laser-Guided Karma and Disaster Dominoes towards the Asshole Victim that had wronged her. I love this plot line! Thanks for recommendations, don't think I will watch them though. I know I asked for cute girls, but those other shows I liked (Madoka, Gakkou Gurashi etc) actually got serious fast and had thrilling storylines. Seeing a bunch of cute girls squealing around a table episode after episode bores me to tears.
They say it bursts through your clothes when it takes you over...That doesn't exactly happen in any of my recommendations aside from one: Yuki Yuna. However, this is understandable because these girls and their relationships to each other do matter. It's a very slow burn, but a worthwhile one.
As for the other two, things do get very busy very fast (outside of a few Breather Episodes). At least give those two a try.

Heal the Cutie, then point the Laser-Guided Karma and Disaster Dominoes towards the Asshole Victim that had wronged her. I love this plot line! What are some good anime that are mostly unknown this season? While I'm more leaning into deeper and serious kind of anime (like Attack on Titan), any will do since I'm that desperate.

Whatever choices we make, one must accept the consequences to move forwardIf someone wants a show to just laugh a bit, I'd recommend the dub of Ghost Stories. It's probably not for hardcore anime fans like most people here, Lord knows I'm not, but if you're extremely bored, like I have been recently, it may cheer up your day.
Life is unfair...![]()
solanin and Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction (and presumably some other works by Inio Asano) are pretty much this.
Paranoia Agent and most Satoshi Kon works also deal with social issues. (Ninja'ed)
Wandering Son (aka Hourou Musuko) also comes to mind. Or 3-gatsu no Lion.
Also, Aggressive Retsuko.
In This Corner of the World and Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms by Fumiyo Kouno are quite about Japanese society, but in the past (ww2 then the 50s).

Kotoura-san is a Romantic Comedy that actively engages with such issues, particularly Honne and Tatemae
. It gets even more interesting since the titular girl had no way to know any better during the Downer Beginning. More issues branch from there turning the show into quite the Deconstructor Fleet.
So I was wondering if anyone else has heard of the Chinese webnovel turned manhua Hero? I Quit a Long Time Ago?
The premise is that the MC, Lin Jie, was the world's first superhero Zero. As a teenager he singlehandedly saved the entire world multiple times from supervillains, criminal organizations, demons, gods, you name it. He inspired an entire generation of Heroes in the process. And then, five years after he appeared, he vanished.
...Turns out he stopped being Zero because he felt embarassed by the whole thing, seeing it as nothing more than teenage edgelord bullshit. But because he doesn't have any other job skills, he's spent the last five years being a freeloading NEET, much to his younger sister's frustration. She eventually gets fed up and forces him to get a job.
Due to the aforementioned lack of job skills, the job he ends up taking is becoming a rookie Hero in the Hero organization that sprang up after "Zero" disappeared.
As the series goes on, Lin Jie meets some new friends and faces enemies both new and from his days as Zero. And of course, he's eventually forced to take up the mantle of Zero now and again. All the while exploring the reasons Lin Jie really gave up being Zero all those years ago.
One thing that makes the series somewhat amusing to me is the sheer contrast between the borderline worship the world has for Zero while Lin Jie himself has nothing but disdain for his past self. To the rest of the world, Zero was its greatest savior and an inspiration for all Heroes. To Lin Jie, Zero was nothing but a brute who could do nothing but destroy his foes, failed to save countless people, and ultimately couldn't bring lasting peace.

Disgusted, but not surprisedSuggest me an anime with a strong story arc and focuses a lot on the Mental World or Journey to the Center of the Mind, or "Fantastic Voyage" Plot or a Womb Level

In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!So I've been reading Kingdom lately, after having caught up with Vinland Saga, and I've come here to ask what shorter, complete Manga series (as in preferably less than 50 chapters, less than 100 at minimum) would you guys recommend, 'cause the damn thing is enormous (600 chapters and still running) and I'll need to take an occasional break to avoid burnout as I read my way through.
Content doesn't matter as much as length, here, just throw in anything you like and I'll give it a chance, I've been stuck into a bit of a comfort zone for the past five years or so and this is a good opportunity as any to spread my wings a bit, so to speak.
Well your criteria is very vague, so I randomly suggest Spirit Circle, Dungeon Meshi and Stravaganza - Isai no Hime. Which have nothing to do with each other or with Kingdom. Drifters and Otome Sensou might be closer to Kingdom since they are about war.
I recommended Solanin and DDDD earlier, I still think they are good.

May have happened a few times in Space Adventure Cobra, but then love interests were also Girl of the Week.
