Fionna and Cake spin-off is so predicable, you could practically call them spin off bait (then again, they were Ice King fan fiction sooo)
New theme music also a boxWe never did discover who was beeming their stories directly into Simon's brain.
My guess is someone on Mars was doing it, Abe Lincoln I'm looking at you
New theme music also a boxAdventure Time Distant Lands will be at San Diego Comic Con (virtually) on July 23 at 12:00pm.
I wonder: was the Lich hand in "Together Again" one of the hands that fell into the Dead Worlds dimension, or was it the same hand Sweet P iced because this is the afterlife?
A 10 episode Fionna And Cake series is being made for HBO Max.
Huh really.
Wonder what it will be about?
Weird to think a goofy Take That! gender flip blossomed into it's own thing.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."..except it was not a Take That,at least that's not how I read it
New theme music also a boxNever saw this coming. And judging from Simon's expression, he never saw it coming either. I wonder how deep this will go since Fionna and Cake started life as just fanfic from when Simon was still the Ice King.
Apparently someone was beaming the idea into Ice King's head..from the space! So the idea is coming from someone somewhere
New theme music also a boxThis sneak peek of Wizard City came out. The release date is September 2.

I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way, but New Death's (or more accurately the Lich's) plan might be his most evil deednote . Not only is he trying to end reincarnation, but destroy all the Dead Worlds except the 1st. Basically damning everyone who has ever lived. At least before being an Omnicidal Maniac would've still allowed for a peaceful afterlife
So, "Wizard City" is out. No offense to "Wizard City" but "Together Again" was such a definitive ending to Adventure Time in general and Finn and Jake's story specifically, that I can't fathom why they didn't release "Together Again" after "Wizard City" and have that be the finale.
Blame Executive Meddling for that, the original plan ws for "Together Again" to be the true Grand Finale of the original Adventure Time continuity
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Wizard City is an bonus Episode
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.but but but Peppermint Butler!
New theme music also a boxI've finally seen all three of the Adventure Time miniseries, is it just me or is Elements a lot weaker than Stakes or Islands?
Going to revive this topic as I have a question for people who watched this show, what would you say was the best moment in the show itself?
Mine's this heartfelt song Finn sings to open the door

New theme music also a boxFinn trying to complete Billy's bucket list, discovering at the end that Billy's last item on his list is to just lie in the ocean, and Finn, even though there's nothing to behold him to even attempt this, killing his own fear and lying in the ocean in peace for the first time.
That or Marcaline's final song in Obsidian.
I like people healing and finding peace okay.
Here's a coverage excerpt from Annecy about the Young-adult Fionna and Cake spin-off series:
How Fiona and Cake get beamed into Simon's head is one of the few truely dangling plot threads to the original seires, so I'm curious, but at the same time I don't feel any need for that plot thread to be resolved as I like it as a nonsense mystery.
I bet it was someone on Mars,Abe Lincoln I'm looking at you!
New theme music also a boxThe crown (either one of its innate powers or due to how Simon was mutated) gave him "wizard eyes" which let him see the Spirit World, which is Another Dimension. Perhaps it led him to see events in the real Fionna and Cake universe
I wonder if Simon is The Ageless. We saw what happened when the crown was de-activated-he suffered from No Immortal Inertia. Maybe Betty's wish to "keep Simon state" extended to making sure he kept the biological immortal he had as Ice King
×6 that's a really difficult question, but besides the most emotional moments like the reveal that Ice King raised Marceline when she was a child in Remember Me and the such, I really like "Jake The Brick" for its simplicity. Seeing all of Ooo, including several characters we hadn't seen since their first appearances, getting united at Jake's dramatic narration of otherwise mundane events is surprisingly endearing.

oh hey how are you doing?
Two news: Aria Clemens (a DL staff member) is teasing Huntress Wizard's return in Wizard City. And a Fionna and Cake spin-off is in the works.
