Overlord scared me to death the first time I saw it.
I thought it was SHODAN all over again.
For some reason playing Paragon doesn't seem as fun. I like being Renegade.
However, I'm worried it may come back to bite me if I don't.

You have a PS 3? If so, let's team up and embark on a suicide mission against the Reapers.
True, but if you don't have enough points you can't maintain loyalty in conflicts. That's how I lost Tali.

The only Renegade options I couldn't take where the ones on Samara's loyalty, Tali's loyalty, and the Tali/Legion fight. Every other one (Para included) I've been able to hit without fail.
Also you should check the ME Wiki. I think I read that you can side with Tali and get Legion's loyalty back, because for some reason the Renegade option costs less points in that convo than in the initial confrontation.
It's not over. Not yet.I actually prefer Paragon. I like being the hero. Renegade is funnier, but Paragon feels more rewarding. Also, pistol-whipping the asshole in Overlord is a Paragon interrupt, and it's the single most satisfying moment in that entire DLC. Possibly in the whole game.
You know a guy's bad when pistol-whipping them and threatening to shoot them is a Paragon option.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Ugh. The multiplayer hates me. I keep buying Veteran Packs and all I get are more rockets and upgrades for mods I don't even use. I want my Revenant, dammit!
It's just like Team Fortress 2's drop system all over again.

Nope. Renegade Shepard is just a selfish asshole who wantonly brutalizes people and screws up the galaxy for no reason other than to be a CDS. He's supposed to be pragmatic, but all of the Renegade choices are pretty much the wrong ones. At least the main ones. The small things and the interrupts are pretty much just common sense.

Oh, I agree. Some sacrifices need to made for the greater good and all that. But that's not what Renegade Shepard does. He's just a dick for no real reason. How does isolating the galactic community by letting their government die and taking over the Citadel in a coup, executing an innocent prisoner begging for mercy, letting corrupt businessmen get away with their crimes when there are alternatives available, manipulate people into killing each other for no reason, etc. help the cause at all?

...It doesn't if you only cite the bad examples.
Renegade Shep's disposition is what I like about him. Power of the heart is not going to unite the galaxy. Fear of death will.
If you want to make the Quarians and Geth cooperate, if you want to see the Krogan and Salarians working together, you must make them afraid.
Not all people have the same dream. But all people want to live.

"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.

Me (as an Engineer) and this level 16 soldier got to round ten in the Silver challenge, and it was awesome. In my last stand, I took down an Atlas and three Phantoms. I also bought a pack after that gave me the REVENANT. All in all, great.
Oh wait, that's not what you guys are talking about. Anyway, the Suicide Mission never really frightened me or anything, mostly because I looked up a walkthrough before hand. I was only worried about losing like three of the squadmates, all of which could be made invincible and automatically brought to safety if loyal.
