Here's something interesting.
I got Tali exonerated (before you start, I just wanted to see what would happen) and you can talk to her afterwards. Shepard says something like "after the mission you'll be able to go back home" and Tali says "who are you kidding? None of us are coming back from this mission."
Maybe loyalty is less about making sure your crew's issues are dealt with. Maybe it's about giving them hope they'll survive the mission.
Two years late?
It's not over. Not yet.
That sounds less like not having hope for surviving that one mission and more not having anything to live for afterwards.
And that still doesn't explain why it's called Loyalty or how it even applies to, say, Legion(or some other characters).

Umbran Climax◊I've seen people using it, so most likely.
To anyone who plays the multiplayer, which is a better mod for the Phalanx pistol: the upgrade that extends heat sink capacity, or the one that increases damage? And does the little scope for the Mattock actually help?

..."I got Tali exonerated"
You mean through the utterly heartless method of revealing her father's experiments? I've never actually seen that. I always chew out the Admiralty Board.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Anyone watch The Walking Dead?
◊ well, after tomorrow's new episode they'll show off the new CGI trailer Take Earth Back

I play mostly Paragon, and I blew them up too. Like Jack said, better for them to die than become mindless slaves.
On a nitpicky note:
Katana shotgun without Shotgun Smart Choke mod

I'm no weapons expert, but I'm pretty sure a choke wouldn't go on the weapon's stock (...that's the stock, right?).

Does Weight Capacity effect power cooldowns(i.e. if I have greater total capacity but keep the same weapons, does cooldown time decrease?) or is it only there to determine how much stuff I can carry?

Dragon Age is a little different than Mass Effect though. It was never intended to be a trilogy with a set story to tell and a clear endpoint.
If they had known sequels would have been approved, Shale and Wynne would have been unkillable and there wouldn't be this problem. Plus the "Mages vs. Templars" war would have been properly built up instead of being used as backstory as part of the Circle of Magi recruitment.
It's not over. Not yet.
