@Med No, the opposite.
Take my last MP game for example. Everytime you move to a new section of the map a little caption at the top left of the screen says where you are. Problem is since the resolution didn't fit instead of getting, say, 'Loading Dock' it would only read as 'ading Dock'.

#IceBearForPresidentOh wow, that's quite bad.
I mean, it's visual feed you are not receiving.
So, got my 60 level shep to Me2 now, so here we go soon.
Also, i got ME 2 before i got ME 1.
Oh yeah, I've had that problem with other games. Usually it's not that severe though.
There's probably a way to adjust that in the settings. Hopefully. Other games have it.
Also Re: ME 2, one of the dialogue options on the Derelict Reaper reveals that the science team was nearly 100 strong. Which means that a) every husk there is human and b) EDI is full of crap.

It's not over. Not yet.I know Modern Warfare could adjust its resolution, was even one of the first things it asks you to do. Otherwise I can't recall any game that allows you to do that.
Despite the resolution problem the graphics still looks great. Better than 2 even, to no surprise.

#IceBearForPresidentI only have a SD TV. Actually, my TV (the one I've got my 360 hooked up to) might be older than I am. But it's nice. And it's got the right plugs.
I'd buy an HDTV, but I'm on unemployment, trying to pay down credit card debt (over $10 000 - yay!), and hoping to go to college in the fall. I can't afford to lay down $500 for a TV. I'd also need to buy a Wi-Fi adapter for my 360, since Microsoft are cheap bastards who don't include it built in, when even the Wii comes with it built in. And the Wi-Fi adapters for the 360 are idiotically expensive.
So, I'm stuck on standard definition. Not a big deal to me. I'm already used to it, having played through ME 1 and 2 on that TV. Looks OK enough for me. I'm not picky when it comes to graphics.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Perhaps my raeg whenever the quarians are seen or referenced on-screen is the secret weapon to beat the Reapers.
Quarian: Get that thing off my ship!
Shepard: Don't you dare try to intimidate me, Captain.
[A dozen guns are pointed at him]
Quarian: Or what?
Shepard: OR I take off my mask and breathe germs all over your nice clean ship.
Edit: God that is a stupid password to get onto the Migrant Fleet.

It's not over. Not yet.i can see it now. the endgame. shepard and co. have to go back in time to retrieve a twenty-something australian fanboy and then take him to the future, load him in a railgun while streaming a quarian porno into a pair of video goggles that he's wearing, and launch him at the reaper fleet, where he takes them all out in an explosion of fanboy rage
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKI play on a large TV. The only problem is that Origin's (and Steam's) text is too small and has no zoom option. Otherwise ME scales properly.
Well, I guess ME 2's subtitles were kinda small, but on well.
Ps. ch00b's tips to finance: only ever keep enough money you need to be comfortable for a month in your checkings account and throw the rest of your paycheck into savings and make sure savings is not linked with your card. Also don't get a credit card until you are sure you can pay it off (meaning steady job). In fact I just got approved for my first credit card today.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."

@Falco: Sure is.
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster.I even had some IRL buddies that when in the same house, play Europa Universalis in the same room, with one of them using a 32-inch tv as a screen.
