@ Jane:
I'm not sure if it's quite as detailed as you were looking for, but that was actually the intention of this little nugget:
In addition, members of this line that are not properly socialized with human beings other than their trainer have been known to become overly-protective of their trainers, especially as Lucario, which has led to more than one aspiring trainer getting his or her license revoked.
EDIT: In other news, what happened to the quoteblock markup?

Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985Hmm, we don't have a Marill article yet. How about saying it is "supported by a system of fluid filled bladders"?
@Calamity Jane,
IMO, the event legends really should wait till they are officially revealed, the dex isn't a lot to go on.

I concur with deuxhero on both accounts, the Futurama one because it is fun.
Which reminds me, I don't remember having seen a mention in the Riolu line to Champion Cynthia taking some cues on style from Lucario ears to whatever are those stuff she has on her head.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google? So should I relate Elgeyem to Deoxys? I was thinking that they could be from the same planet or something, and that Deoxys would be equivalent to a eusocial insect queen.
^ I don't know if I'd go that far, but seeing as they're both (presumably) extra-terrestrial psychics, I wouldn't rule out the members of LGM's line having the same sort of reverence for Deoxys that more normal 'mons have for other legendaries.
Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985I'd have to run it by Frog, as he's the one who wrote the Deoxys article.
Hmm...what's Elgeyem's Japanese name? I'd like to take a look at this one before I make a decision.
The Danse Macabre CodexRiguree.
It kinda sounds like some kind of gourmet pasta.
So it does, at that. Funny how both the confirmed extraterrestrial Pokemon strains are Psychic types.
Anyway, now that I've had a look at Elgeyem, I don't think they're closely related to Deoxys. They have a similarly anthropomorphic form to Deoxys, yes, and they have similar psionic abilities, but so do humans and most Psychic Pokemon; that doesn't mean anything. They may be natives of the same planet, or they may come from entirely different star systems, but I don't think they're closely related at all.
Hmm...is it just me, or do they look like they're wearing some sort of space armour?
The Danse Macabre CodexI figured that the evolved version more resembles a guy in a trenchcoat and hat.
Is any one else interested in writing articles for the cities and landmarks in Unova?
I've found writing articles for the cities is easier (and frankly a little more fun) for me than for the Pokémon, and I'd planned on getting one done for each city (and maybe the major landmarks) as I play through Black next week.
Either way, I think that they're connected somehow to Deoxys. What are the chances that we have two totally unconnected alien species coincidentially making planetfall on the same world?

Well, there is the huge difference in their arrival dates to take into account; according to what I read on Bulbapedia, Elgeyem suddenly appeared in the Unovan desert fifty years before the events of Black & White, while according to my article on the subject, Deoxys crashed in the arctic seven years ago in a small chunk of its home planet and may have been drifting through the void for centuries before that. Its arrival on the Pokemon world was almost certainly an accident.
Granted, in astronomical terms that's a very short interval of time, especially given the distances which are doubtless involved, but still.

The Danse Macabre CodexMaybe one was hunting the other? Maybe they were fleeing something even worse?
At any rate, I won't give any overt connections between the two at your behest, Frog.
Hmm... maybe speculation in the scientific community as to why these two markedly different species of "Pokemon" share similar body types and abilities?
The Danse Macabre CodexDeoxys was a virus in a meteor, that mutated into a human-sized creature. Not related to a separate alien species anymore that that species to other Pokemon.
^ Maybe Deoxys is a mutated Elgeyem?
Pretty drastic mutation to go from an evolving species with a fixed form to a non-evolving species with shapeshifting abilities and a radically different appearance, wouldn't you say?
The Danse Macabre CodexIt was just an idea.
After all, we know nothing about Elgeyem physiology, maybe they can also spawn from viruses.
You have a point there; we know very little of the little grey men, after all...
The Danse Macabre CodexExpect a line about how Beheeyem and Elgeyem apparently launch well-coordinated raids in which they abduct Miltank for reasons unknown...

I would expect a reference so some of them being angry because we no longer air a Star Trek equivalent, or some nifty Ally Mc beal homologue. EDIT- Yes, I know it is not that plausible because of the time-distance involved

Hey Tracer, did you mention anything about Yandere Lucario in that article? Because I can't find it. Though I do notice you mentioned it grabbing onto me and refusing to let go, most likely impaling my avatar in the chest.
Oh, and, my cue:
