I don't know anything about it, but apparently some people don't like it. Somebody asked for a thread about it, though, so have at it!

Isn't that a live action show?

It is a live action show.

Which is why it doesn't belong on Cartoon Network, but then, nobody seems to care about that anymore.

My point was that the thread is in the Western Animation section .

I don't know why, but this show is irritating me more than anything. I know it hasn't aired yet, but I'm really stinking mad at it. Well, not for it being a live-action show (ON CARTOON NETWORK!), it's probably the basis of the show. Mainly the main character. I really don't know why, but just seeing the commercials for this just makes me wanna... I won't go into details.

The concept seemed find (except for being on the wrong Network) But the execution will probably suck. Or maybe not but I Think not.

From what I understand:

1. This show is a live action show.
2. It is on Cartoon Network.
3. Ergo, people hate it.

We really need a rolleyes smiley.

Look, I'm sure it has the potential to be a decent show. The plot, while a bit of a generic one, isn't too bad, especially if they deliver on the Le Parkour they promised in some of the commercials. However, I oppose what it represents: further Network Decay on Cartoon Network.

If it had been made for Nickelodeon, I'd be perfectly fine with it.

I have a message from another time...

So, apparently, every episode will be 45 minutes long. And it's not so much that people hate the shows, it's that they belong on a different channel. When people are watching Cartoon Network, they don't want to see live action. That's what Disney Channel is for.

The show doesn't in itself look too bad, but like everyone else I'm bugged by it being a live show on a normally CARTOON channel. Cartoon Network should stick with the title of it's logo.

The only real exception Cartoon Network should have about live series is movies, and Adult Swim, which isn't technically even Cartoon Netwokk.

Not a soul will watch. Unnatural History will be cancelled after one season.

And all will be well in the kingdom of Cartoon Network.

Given CN's live-action track record, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. wink

This seems a giant YMMV for all of us watching Cartoon Network. A vast majority of us don't like this idea, while some support it. Really, my gut feeling is saying that this is going to be bad, but in my mind... if the CN Real block were to come back as a separate channel, then this'll fit perfectly. Otherwise... I'm not going to watch an hour-long live action show on Cartoon Network. Movies are different.

I think it might be worth at least one viewing.. On the preview for it, i saw REAL GUNS.. Not some crappy laser BS.. But real, gunpowder guns.. So.. Who knows?

I'll probably watch it because I like to give everything the benefit of a doubt, who knows it might be good. I still hate how it's on the wrong channel though.

My family are huge Disney Channel fans but when we saw the commercial for Unnatural History it brought us to Car.Net, so maybe it is a smart move for them to bring a live action show to their channel. We are excited for it and have the DVR set.

Just watched the show, pilot is FREE on Itunes, and I really like it. The kids are going to watch it after dinner. I would say it's an excellent family choice.
