That's much better than the time George Bush threw a bunch of candy at me during a parade that was then immediately all grabbed up by some redneck dad and distributed evenly to his one child.
You've now got a lifelong memory and really a cool experience. He gave a speech, I presume? How was it? what was it about?

It was basically him and Washington politicians trying to get everyone excited about voting Democrat. His speech had some fair points, but it wasn't really on the level of life-changing speeches.
What? I've mentioned that I live in Seattle several times before. I've even posted that in the PNW tropers thread, and I've seen you in that thread.
Once upon a time, my family dragged me down to Cheltenham on a hot summer day, saying that we would see Barack Obama. To my surprise, we were not able to enter the area where he was speaking. Anime geemu wo shinasai!Hey, I'm around Seattle too~! -high-five-
But instead of seeing the president I ended up going to a candidates forum at school where a bunch of people (or their representatives) from the upcoming elections came to chatter at us.

I guess a lot of people don't get the privilege of seeing their nation's leader and not a reproduction of his image, so I'm glad I did so.
It's also kind of cool that I voted for him and the building he gave his speech in belonged to the school I go to.
Ruining everything forever.
