Took some time to figure that out, I realized I had to keep running to the right until I got around and found the little oasis.
Anyway, whooooooa FF 14 collab. Maybe one of these days I'll actually play that game.
I tried that, and I ended up sliding right into it. Thank you for your tip. :)
Now I just have to find those waterfalls.
How do you get to the Forest Zone? I tried following that video I saw with opening the gate in the remains of the shopping center, but nothing happened. :S Well at least now I know where the desktop icon came from. XD
Sorry about the triple post. ^_^;; But I came across one of my favorite funny parts.
The robots in the Amusement Park took one of the world's most famous tragic romances and turned it into a war epic, complete with a lot of shouting of colorful metaphors. XD
It's both hilarious and tragic. Such is the life of an android in this game.
I have a bunch of silly headcanons regarding that one Machine on break. I like imagining he somehow knows the truth about humanity, Yo R Ha, and the relationship between 2B and 9S, and that they (along with A2 maybe) encounter him again after Ending E and he lets it be known he knows these things, much to the shock of the two (or three).
Is it good or bad that the androids' saying "glory to mankind" makes me think of Warhammer 40,000? ^_^;;
So humanity is dead and they are actually Ridiculously Human Robots
Yoko Taro gets a new job...as a Virtual Youtuber.
....I now want to see him scar Kizuna Ai for life, just because (Though she's played a ton of horror games, so it might be hard).

I think I'm making good progress. I had a run-in with both Adam & Eve and A2.
Ok, right after you talk to Pascal about A2, that's your last window of opportunity to do sidequests. Try and get as much done as you can before talking to Anemone again because then they won't be available to you for a while. Also, use the map to find Emil in the city ruins and then head for the shopping center ruins. I say this because it'll lead to to one of the most emotional moments in the game for me, especially as someone who played the original Nie R. If you missed this window, it's not the end of the world. You will have another shot at them later.
Famitsu had a snippet of a conversation between toby fox and yoko recently. Fox says he doesn't really play many games these days (only those he really, really wants to), and Automata was one of them.
I just completed a very mysterious quest. The one where you defeat the two (allegedly) rogue YoRHa agents that may or may not have been stealing supplies from the resistance.

I got into a fight with some golden robots. It was not fun; no matter what I did, they kept kicking my butt. Even leveling up didn't give me a boost to fight them with. x_x And they were not funny like C-3PO or Dot Matrix. x_x
It'll be easier to beat it in your second playthrough.
How do you do it?
Well, you have to complete the game first. On your second playthrough, you get an ability that makes fighting golden enemies a lot simpler. Saying any more will spoil you, I think.
Yyyyyyyyyyyeah those golden machines suck. If you're going at it as 2B you better have a lot of patience and enhancement items on you. On my recent Hard playthrough I killed the Goliaths and the tank first because the Stubbies attack much faster and can't be stunned so easily. Make sure to retreat and stock up/save after you kill each one since they thankfully don't respawn.
ngl taking them all down as 2B on Hard was a pretty proud moment for me. Oh, and watch out - the last Stubby left will be a fair bit tougher and faster than the last two.
On a more positive note, one of my friends had a good laugh when she asked me what I thought of A2 when I first met her. I answered with "She almost killed me. x_x"

A lot about A2 is pretty spoiler-y so I'll keep it under wraps. I think she's cool.
May I take this moment to say that I hate the Speed Star quest as much as Roger Ebert hated the movie North? x_x >.<
Ohohoooo boy that one sucks. Really gotta make all the room for speed-enhancing plug-in chips, on top of figuring out how best to make it to the finish line as fast as possible in each round. I won't blame you if you put this off until after you've beaten the game.

None of the supply guys at the Resistance Camp had any speed-enhancing items. :S
Yeah IIRC they're pretty much just random drops and pick-ups throughout the game, which is mildly annoying.
