I think some sort of Audience Participation could work to do something like Ending E. Too much effort though.
Wouldn't be surprised if Yoko Taro when adapting the game into the anime basically does the inverse of what The Wachowskis did when they made The Matrix Path Of Neo (them adapting a movie into a game, realizing that different mediums need different approaches, whereas here, it's the complete opposite).
I don't really know how Path of Neo is, but I still maintain that it's super cool that the Wachowskis went and made that segment. Like, they probably didn't have to, but they went and did it anyway.
And since you brought it up, yeah, I would really love if Yoko Taro did it himself. (Ooh, what if he did it for the English dub too?)
I'm starting to think Yoko Taro has something against save games.
Does anyone think a save game might have bullied him as a child?
I mean uh that SINoALICE game's Taiwanese servers are shutting down soon so its players have been told they can played its final arc now, after which they will be booted out and unable to log in again.

Funny you say that, because it did happen to him.
He had a corrupted Dragon Quest III that crashed on him after losing to the Final Boss, which inspired him to do the whole "Deleting your Save Game" schtick.

Watch SymphogearIn more news of Nier appearing just about anywhere, Nier Replicant cosmetics will be coming to Rainbow Six Siege
Will they change the projectile animations too, I wonder :p
RE: Yoko Taro and Dragon Quest III:
Wait, the file was corrupted? I thought he just lost it by accident. The fact(?) that it was corrupted makes it worse.
On a brighter subject, HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER! (For the Automata anime!)
For the uninitiated, this is Lily, who has never appeared in the game, but in the YoRHa Stage Play. (A2 flashbacks maybe?)

Holy moly the level of detail. And they nailed the most important part.
And by that I mean the eyes. Not anything else, obviously.
