Apparently 4chan has already a lot more information regarding 2nd original Generations.
Take it with a grain of salt, as the links contains major spoilers.

Today I won't edit, a single entry, because I am still waiting for a translation.
I'm interested in how Alfimi pulled off her ghastly Heel–Face Turn
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...As far as I'm aware, she currently just follows Axel. And he had a Heel–Face Turn in OG Gaiden, so...

I'm curious: How does this series get away with being more iterative than Co D? I think I know most of the answers but it would be nice to see them listed out here
.
SRW UX for 3DS
Cast list:
- Kishin Houkou Demonbane (!!!!!)
- Fafner in the Azure: Heaven and Earth
- The Wings of Reanne
- Cyber Troopers Virtual-On series (Fei-Yen HD)
- Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer
- SD Gundam Sangokushi: Brave Battle Warriors
- Mazinkaiser SKL
- Heroman(!?)
- Macross F: Sayonara no Tsubasa
- Aura Battler Dunbine
- Ninja Senshi Tobikage
- Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny
- Linebarrels of Iron
- Juso Kiko Dancouga Nova
- Fafner in the Azure
Producer is the same one for SRW L.
I was wondering when Heroman would be in a SRW.
Wait, Demonbane?
Oh shit, it's on, son!

Watch Symphogear@ Recon: mainly because most of them are standalone and manage to creatively weave a completely new original story in along with usually fixing the hell out of plot holes in the series they weave together.
Not to mention the sheer excitement of seeing a show you loved included.
also I am totally psyched to see Heroman.

FUCKIN SERIOUS
THE FAFNER MOVIE
FUCKING FINALLY YESSSSSS
(I hope there's a scenario that covers Left of Right as well. There's not much that it could be, but at the very least, acknowledging that it exists would be nice, and a Fafner Titan Model would be interesting and could kinda work as being fast and powerful but casts from HP)
As for the rest of that list...hm. Dunbine, it's nice to have you back bro, and Mazinkaiser SKL is pretty sweet. Tobikage has, bar none, my favorite mechanical design of the 80s, and I hope they make its theme as kickass as it was in Impact. I haven't seen Demonbane and only know about how its super-awesome form is gigantohugic. Heroman is cool, I'd like to see how that works out. All the rest...egh. Gundam Seed Destiny is just tiresome now, it has literally been in every single game since Z (and SEED in general has been in every game since freaking Alpha 3), and it usually provides the carrying plot and an abundance of units. No, we have Gundam 00, which, while I don't think it's any better than Destiny, is at least fresh blood and has more interesting units. Still, as much as I'd kind of hoped that 00 would be the go-to for a central Gundam plot in things that don't have UC, it's a bit of a predictable move. Oh well, if Z3 doesn't happen somehow, at least we're getting Trailblazer here (as bad as the movie was, but that's neither here nor there, after all, Zeorymer was even worse, and look at how awesome SRW made it). Linebarrels and Dancougar Nova...er...why again? They're both things I expected to just be used once for the novelty of it, and then just kinda left alone because they're not all that interesting. Linebarrels just provides a crapton of units I could care less about, and while Dancougar Nova has alright super robot flavor...come on, throw Neo Getter or Getter Go a bone here. If you're gonna do Nova again, at least let us use the individual components like we've been starved of in Combining Mecha series as of late. I'm worried they're going to end up whoring out Macross Frontier on us as well and we're never going to see the last of it. And Virtual ON...eh, okay.
I have no idea what to think of SD Gundam, though.

Why do you fight? Why do you exist? In the first place, of course, there's the appeal of the included shows. Aside from that, Banpresto has skilled writers working for them, who can usually fit together many different shows into a new story. There's always the thing of mechs fighting the great-evil-of-the-day, of course, but beneath the surface the new interactions that a crossover makes possible are a big part of the appeal.
What's this, a non-OG SRW that doesn't have Kouji Kabuto? BLASPHEMY! Heh, I guess with how much he's given the genre, he deserves a rest for once.
...Actually, looking at the cast list, this has none of the Holy Trinity in it. Guess it's going to be a bit of a mold-breaker, huh?
...Really psyched for Demonbane, eheh~ And I know it's a pipedream, but it would be amazing to see a future SRW that includes Getter Emperor, Elder God Demonbane and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann teaming up, because the sheer scale of that would be amazing. Miku is... Unexpected, but... I'm okay with this.
And I'll just sit here, patiently waiting for Diebuster to finally get its turn. Or at least for Gunbuster to show up again. Don't you think a Z3 where they bring things full circle and have Simon mentor Noriko on how to be a badass would be awesome?

So. I so totally knew it. I had hoped for Fafner to be in Z3, and when it was obvious Awakening of the Trailblazer was going to be saved for that, I was all "ZOMG, the Festum and the ELS are going to be, like, the same thing".
They're so totally going to be the same thing in this.
Those of you who know more about the shows in question, what other plot links can you discern? I'm too fansquee-ing to think straighter than that one thing~
Why do you fight? Why do you exist?Aura Battler Dunbine and The Wings Of Rean can pretty much be taken as one, since the latter is a spinoff from the former.

W looked just like J, so I'm not surprised that this looks just like the the DS games. Give them another game and they'll find a good, new engine to use.
For a while, I;ve been wishing for Kouji Kabuto to not appear in a Super Robot Wars. Partly as petty vengeance over Amuro and the Getter Robo gang (and Tetsuya) not appearing in some games. Should I feel bad about that, for a game I'll never play anyway?
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Hey, there's still the segment of the fanbase that thinks the series was best on the PS 1.
I could see them comparing notes on 'how to communicate with humans without killing them' but they could very well have an assimilation war before that (or to even get to that point). I wonder what a ELS Festum ambassador would look like or whether the Festum would be able to understand the ELS by assimilating any number of them since the ELS are all one big Hive Mind.
also because lets face it. Much as I cant wait to buy SRW OG 2 for my ps3, Itrs waaay easier to play an rpg on a DS or 3ds given you can play it anywhere and save at will.
Was also pleased that (for a while, anyways) most handhelds seemed to be region free, which... Was a boon, to put it lightly. Was honestly thrilled when I found out Z2 was coming out on the PSP, because that meant I'd actually be able to play it without going through anymore hassle than simply importing the game itself.
The handheld games are simultaneously incredibly profitable and not expected to be the "mainstream" of the series. Henceforth, Banpresto makes loads of money off relatively cheap licenses and gets to play with quirky and obscure series, and also helps bolster public knowledge of said series (because really, I doubt Heaven and Earth would've existed had it not been for K). It's a win-win scenario all around.
Why do you fight? Why do you exist? No point in complaining.
Besides, stuff that are Licensing nightmares, nintendo has been trying to bring everything over from japan to western Countries now. Even Pokemon Conquest.
