I don't think I'm gonna read homestuck anymore. It's really not worth it. Emotional stress. Too much.

Oh god, don't be like that. At the very least you could read it without talking about it if you're that concerned.

There are other forums to discuss this. There's the main site's forum and various *chan sites.

We shouldn't be talking guys.

Although a lock here's not really a question.

I don't go on other websites. Only Tv Tropes. And if it comes down to migrating to another site or dropping a series entirely, I'd rather drop the series.

It's not being locked forever, you know.

Besides, as long as we don't fight, this thread's probably safe.

Mads said a new thread would result in banning.

But yes, I think this is a good place to stop. I really do expect it to be locked.

Don't do that, simply because you'll be missing out on some great story. If it's too stressful to discuss it here, you could just avoid doing that. I'm, personally, am sorry that the thread's atmosphere was so bad—I had no idea we had so much potential for fanwank in us. And I don't think what happened was at all your fault.

Having said that, yeah, this thread'll probably get the lock too. *SIGN*

If this is locked will it be temporary?

Should we just go ahead and holler to be safe?

[up]I'd actually it rather not get unlocked. It's redundant.

I'm assuming we'll get a new thread after a few days.

Come to think of it, this is what happened to the MSPA megathread on Something Awful as well. Only there the wank was much more intense.

To be honest, I find a lot of the plot by the point I'm at chaotic, and my understanding of it is too minimal to have "fanwank" about it.

I asked for a temp-lock on this one too. I thought it would be okay to post here, seeing as how it's been around for a while.

i'd recommend all of you cool down instead of discussing those events; it stands a better chance of flaring up if you don't.

I don't think we need to lock down every discussion of Homestuck if you guys can do that.

No need to apologize, AHR. If anything, I'm sorry on behalf of the rest of the thread for stressing you out and turning you off of an excellent comic. Really.

But yes, let's move on. How 'bout that Vampire Kanaya?

<Mod Hat ON>

Technically, this thread wasn't made to get around the lock on the other one. So I'm not going to automatically lock this one down too.

But would someone please explain to me what the relationship between MS Paint Adventures and Homestuck is, and why they got mashed together into one thread, when there was a dedicated thread for each one?

I'm serious here, I'd like to understand.

We should've been discussing Problem Sleuth in there anyways!

EDIT: MSPA is the works of Andrew Hussie that originally relied on commands gleaned from a forum.

Homestuck was the latest, although the original format was ditched in favor of more controlled storytelling.
