One more and i think this my fave theory now Genesis and Cissnei from Crisis Core are Sora's parents, Kuja/Hope and Lightning are Riku's parents ,and Exdeath and Ultimecia are MX's parents .

Why does Kuja and Lightning sound like such an intriguing pairing? Then again, I ship Lightning with pretty much everyone so that might explain it.

I've actually seen a good amount of fanart that has Aqua, Lightning, and Fang teaming up.

I think Lightning deserves better than Kuja I can't think of any other white person from FF right now though besides Sephiroth who's just a part of Cloud

Riku kind of has the same eyes as Lightning, though, so her being his mom might work. And most of the silver-haired FF characters are villains, which kind of makes sense for Riku too considering his exploration of villainy. The only non-villainous silver-haired FF characters I can think of are Luneth, Cecil (although in some cases he looks slightly blond), and Hope.

Well, Dissidia 012 gives us Firion/Lightning.

Oh right, I forgot about Firion. (Probably because FFII is one of the only FF games I've played and disliked.)

And it could work. Riku gets the eyes and hairstyle from Lightning and the hair color from Firion.

I still say Cissnei from Crisis Core should be Sora's mom and his dad I don't know maybe Laguna Loire or Vincent Valentine

If I weren't in a fanfic-writing rut right now, I'd think up some kind of plot that could incorporate Lightning and Firion as Riku's parents.

Hmm, we haven't discussed any possibilities for Kairi's parents yet.

But that conflicts with my personal canon that Laguna is still Squall/Leon's father (with Raine still as his mother, of course). I'm... rather attached to Laguna/Raine.

That fic that I was planning out that I mentioned earlier (the one with Cecil and Rosa as Ienzo's parents) had Laguna and Raine as the main characters and it covered the time period from a couple of years before Squall's birth up through when the Heartless took over Radiant Garden. And Raine didn't die in childbirth... but she was going to end up having her heart ripped out by a Heartless. And then earlier Braig would have killed Laguna for reasons I don't remember, although I think it had something to do with the fact that Even and the other scientists were experimenting on Ellone (who was also present in the story) and Laguna wasn't happy about it.

x5 Oops. Sorry. But yeah, it's heavily implied that Laguna is Squall's dad. Kiros and Ward drop a few hints, and Laguna tells Squall near endgame that they have some stuff to talk about at a later date. Because he was made the President of Esthar after imprisoning Adel and sending her into space in the Lunatic Pandora, he didn't know about Raine's pregnancy and without Laguna there, Raine passed away shortly after Squall's birth. Laguna didn't find out about Squall's existence until later.

I'm sure it would've had its lighthearted moments too—Laguna was a main character, after all.

Too bad life/Na No Wri Mo intervened, because I feel like I would've had a lot of fun writing it. Unfortunately only a few thousand words of the beginning (and the end, weirdly enough) exist.

That sounds like my fan-fics. I have the general idea for about eight stories (excluding a few one-shots), but I can never find the time to properly work on them.

The only fic I've ever been able to complete is one-shots, and even a couple of those are incomplete. I did a couple of KH ones last summer/fall, though—one was a short little friendship fic with Lea and Isa that I banged out one morning at 4 AM, and the other is vaguely Axel/Roxas but isn't blatant about it.
