(in pain) no please stop, cease your monkey paw wish!
@everyone I hate you all!
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent.speaking of which, I have to wonder what the meta-causality is between that and Strelitzia. Like did Normura decide to give Marluxia a sister because he had fought with a feminine looking figure for one (and a half) boss fight, or was this planned from the start and the Specter was the first hint at that?
I think a lot of KH developments work on adding extra bits later to already vague stuff. Xigbar is basically the poster child of this for KH.
(Though the mysterious voice in KH 1 just being Mickey is a case where this isn't the case for once)
I'm confused, what does Lea's friend have to do with Xigbar? I don't think he nor Saïx ever really trolled Sora?
I meant how Xigbar used to concerned with Roxas before it was revealed to be Ventus. I thought Xigbar was just a guy who was once one of Ansem's disicples before he turned rogue. Xigbar/Braig himself wor possed by Luxu as revealed in KH 3.
"Fan, a Mega Man character."Xigbar is a pivotal character with the most unDisney weapon.
Admittedly he always felt out of place. He was the the second member in the original Organization but barely did anything of note (Saix acted more as a number two to Xemnas). Then Braig is tied in heavily in BBS despite feeling like an fanfic OC character interacting with the main cast (as in, pretty sure Aqua was like "Who the hell is this?" during her boss fight). He was given important roles despite never feeling justified as to why. But now with his true character revealed, it makes much better sense.
-Witty line-I was thinking earlier about the franchise as a whole and the recent comments by Nomura on how the series will conclude and I'm kinda sad that there's probably quite a bit now that's left on the cutting room floor with how much Nomura got dicked about by SE and he's running out of time.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Would explain why III felt more like a promo trailer for the next plot rather than a proper conclusion.
I think they just stretched the story out way too much instead of better using the limited media they had available (not helping how spread out the series was to consoles/devices). The Seeker Saga took almost 20 years and ended on a fizzle. Who is going to get excited or interested in the next saga with that time frame where it ends as a literal new generation of people are born?
And would help to stop adding new plot aspects in an already bloated story as there are high chances it will not be properly, or at all, explained. Was the Data Landscape for instance really that necessary to include? And again, the strong implication that the Keyblade War that has been discussed for 10 years is not even the actual big War. Just....why make this more complicated? Use what you have established. Stop with the Bait-and-Switch already.
-Witty line-
Inasmuch as we criticize his writing practices, Square Enix really screwed the poor guy over. He wasn't the only one but Square Enix really needed to get their acts together during the PS 3 to PS 4 era. I agree with your post.

"Fan, a Mega Man character."

Nomura, going through his grab-bag of "overcomplicating concepts": And in, uh, the Second Keyblade War, one of the lost Worlds, a place of nothingness, broke away and in time grew its own Heart. That Heart found Xemnas at his moment of birth, granting him super knowledge as the avatar of nothingness. Boo-yeah. 😎
